Established in 2009 by Laurie Brown, Lilypad Originals Photography was founded as a Christian based company to spread the word of God through the beauty that surrounds us every day.We do event photography for all events. Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events, or personal/family private sessions. Any picture on our "Gallery" page of our website can be personally customized to add any scripture the customer would like. We are affordable, creative, flexible, and we strive to give our customers the best experience and end product possible.

Laurie was born in Massachusetts and now lives in Florida. Laurie has a passion for many things, photography, one of the biggest since a small child. Her father, Herbert Ruggles, Jr. sparked the interest in her at a young age with a dark room in the basement of the home she grew up in where he developed all his own photos. Laurie not only takes great shots but loves what she does! The mother of 6, she is able to raise her family and do what she loves for work, photography, while still tending to another passion, children. Laurie has four biological sons 24, 21, 17, and 13, and two adopted daughters 9 and 7, both medically fragile abused children. One day she hopes to travel to the Galapagos Islands, Hawaii, Ireland, and more.
