Liesl is amazeballs! Her photos are amazing and she is so easy to work with. She is great at capturing emotive images rather than just pretty poses. Definitely would recommend her.

When I first saw Liesl arrive at our venue I was instantaneously thrilled and relaxed all at once. As a photographer myself, it was incredibly important to me that I be able to trust our photographer COMPLETELY, and boy do I trust Liesl! She's got the skill, equipment, professionalism, and guts. Despite traveling across the country she had all of her equipment at the ready. She made even the more camera shy people comfortable. I can't WAIT to see our photos...judging by the view on the back of the camera, we are going to make a LOT of prints!!

She also made a point to prepare thoroughly by speaking with our DJ, and scoping out the venue the night before to find places she wanted to shoot. :D

Liesl photographed our wedding and she did an awesome job. We love how creative and fun our pictures are! She was really responsive to our specific requests. It was also really clear that she knew a lot of great places to do photos throughout the city and (since there was a threat of rain) she had backup spots planned should we not be able to do the outdoor Chicago shots. Liesl was very friendly and easy to get to know and my husband and I are very very glad we went with her as our photographer.

When we were looking for a photographer, we kept seeing ordinary wedding photos that just didn't catch our attention. The first look at Liesel's photos, we knew she was our girl! Our wedding was a destination wedding 8 hours away, and she went as far as to travel to Raleigh NC to take our engagement photos, which was so much closer for us. You cannot go wrong with this photographer.
