As the Triad's largest premier wedding venue, on our 30-acre family estate, you’ll find the perfect balance of elegance, tradition and beauty to make any event a memorable occasion. With 4 wedding locations on the property, 2 indoor and 2 outdoor, we are perfect for 10 -1000 guests.
Once a training facility for award-winning American Saddlebred show horses, The Grace Barn is now 12,000 square feet of elegant, climate-controlled indoor event space. The Grace Barn is known for its whimsical romantic décor, perfect for weddings. In the Salem Stallway, tall barn doors open to a serene evergreen view framed by permanent drapery and eucalyptus, perfect for ceremonies and cocktail hours. The Grace Barn is climate controlled and can handle any event of up to 800 guests, year-round. The Grace Barn can be combined with the Legacy House patio for the perfect indoor-outdoor experience.
Overlooking acres of green pasture, The Legacy House provides the ideal setting for intimate ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. This space features two full outdoor kitchens, a fire pit, and stone fireplace, all against the backdrop of beautiful gardens. Take a stroll along the garden path accented with climbing vines, azaleas, lavender and hydrangeas.
The Forsyth Barn was once home to one of the largest horseback riding lesson facilities in the Southeast, and is now 22,000 square feet of climate controlled and technologically advanced indoor event space. Inside, the Grand Ballroom and the Carolina Room can accommodate your dream wedding ceremony and recpetion. The Forsyth Barn is equipped to seat up to 1,000 guests, with more intimate spaces available to fit any guest count. Our large open foyer, stallway, and outdoor terrace provide the perfect space for guests during cocktail hour.
The Creekside Terrace is our newest feature, perfect for intimate outdoor ceremonies and photography! The waterfall is located behind the Grace Barn but is available to all brides on their wedding day for photos.
With so many outdoor photo opportunities, from the front pasture, to the Legacy House, to our new water feature, Legacy truly has the most versatile property in the Triad for weddings and special events.

A military couple's dream venue!!!
They were available to facetime us when we had questions about our floorplan to help us see our vision in the space, and even went as far as to help us hire our other vendors based on their recommendations since we were not physically there to plan. They were always happy and cheerful even when I was freaking out about my dress not arriving on time in the mail and recommended a seamstress to get it altered days before the wedding.
Legacy did way more for us than they were expected to do, and we appreciate their effort and hard work! I would recommend this venue to anyone, especially if you're in the military or not in the area because these ladies make everything easy!
AMAZING in every way!!
My husband and I got married on 11/14/2020 and we had nothing short of a wonderful experience. We worked with Caitlynn who is FANTASTIC!!! Seriously -- hire her as your day-of coordinator because she is someone who goes above and beyond. The staff is as sweet as can be and the space is breathtaking.
We reserved 1/2 of Cate's ballroom and the Salem Stallway for our wedding day. The Legacy House was perfect for me and my girls to get ready in and the boys had a blast in the men's house. We also actually reserved the Legacy House for both our rehearsal dinner and send-off Sunday brunch as well. People are still telling us months later what a wonderful time they had and how easy the venue was to navigate. It's so much more than a space for us; my husband and I will always cherish starting our own legacy at Legacy (haha). Thanks to everyone who made our day so wonderful. Cheers!
