My husband and I are from Boston, MA, and we have always dreamed of a destination wedding in Italy. Once we settled on the stunning region of Puglia, we started researching local planners and booked a Zoom meeting with Katia from LeccEventi. Right away, we fell in love with her! She was incredibly warm, friendly, and put us completely at ease from the very start. Planning a wedding in a place you’ve never visited brings a lot of unknowns, but we trusted Katia with our vision and she delivered an incredibly seamless experience.
Katia’s honesty and expertise are unmatched. We were initially interested in a specific venue she hadn't worked with before, but she immediately jumped into action. She toured the property for us and sent over every piece of information we could possibly need, including videos of the drive in and all the event spaces. Because of her commitment to transparency, she let us know that the surrounding area was quite industrial and the views weren’t what we were expecting. We pivoted based on her advice and chose a venue Katia suggested, one she knew inside and out. We are so incredibly happy we trusted her guidance!
Communication throughout the process was flawless. Katia was highly responsive over email and set up a WhatsApp group chat for more immediate needs. If she was ever tied up, she always managed expectations beautifully, letting us know exactly when she would get back to us.
She seamlessly managed every single vendor, providing us with extensive examples, videos, photos, and clear pricing. Every vendor she brought to the table exceeded our expectations. We sent her our Pinterest and mood boards for the ceremony, dinner, and after party, and on the wedding day, she completely blew us away. Walking into our wedding, I honestly couldn't believe how incredible everything looked. From the jaw dropping florals to the music and the gorgeous dinner tablescape, it was perfect, and we never had to lift a finger.
We also received great additional support from Sara, one of Katia’s colleagues. Sara helped organize transportation to and from the venue for our guests and helped with other additional needs on the wedding day. She was so lovely!
To top it all off, Katia also helped us plan a welcome party the night before and a relaxing pool party the day after. Both events were a massive success and flowed beautifully.

“Destination wedding” per una coppia americana, ma la sposa ha il padre e famiglia leccesi. Il planning era complicato con circa 120 invitati provenienti dagli USA e circa 50 dall’Italia/Europa. Bisognava conciliare aspettative e tradizioni a volte non coincidenti, gusti differenti, logistica complessa, condizioni meteorologiche incerte fino all’ultima ora, la festa del santo patrono nel centro di Lecce dove si trova la chiesa, etc.
Per quasi un anno abbiamo lavorato con Katia, con me e mia moglie (genitori della sposa) a fare da tramite quando eravamo a Lecce e gli sposi in videochiamata, e-mail, whatsapp mentre erano impegnati in America con studi e lavoro.
Katia ha fatto l’impossibile per accomodare le nostre richieste o per indirizzarci su alternative più consone ad un matrimonio leccese.
Alla fine, le aspettative che erano alte da parte nostra sono state ampiamente superate grazie alla competenza e disponibilità di Katia, la quale è stata flessibile, paziente e estremamente efficace nel trovare soluzioni a problemi che a volte sembravano irrisolvibili.
Se pianificate un matrimonio a Lecce, specialmente se “complicato”, vi consiglio di non guardare neanche alle alternative. Katia è una garanzia di qualità e gentilezza ed è stato un piacere conoscerla e lavorare con lei.

Where do I even start?! Katia was absolutely amazing, she is everything you can ask for in a wedding planner! Most would think planning a destination wedding is super complicated, difficult and stressful, but not if Katia is your wedding planner! She made the process of planning so easy and stress free for us. She gave us options, but not too many so we weren't overwhelmed and truly created an unforgettable night for us and our guests. She listened to all the little details that we wanted, and made sure they happened! She was also SO kind, and professional, she made the wedding day extremely enjoyable, there was not a single thing that I had to worry about the day of the wedding. Every detail was handled and taken care of so perfectly! My husband and I keep saying, "We wish we were guests at this wedding!", our guests are still talking about our wedding, and how much fun their had. We are a couple from Switzerland who wanted to get married in beautiful Puglia because of my Husband‘s roots. Since I didn‘t speak any italian we wanted to find a wedding planner to make the process easier. And it couldn‘t have been easier than what we‘ve experienced!

From day one we were so impressed by their professionalism as they guided us at every step of the wedding planning. They understood perfectly our vision and needs to make our dream wedding come true.
Planning a destination wedding can be challenging especially during a pandemic but they selected for us the right vendors and that make us feel very at ease during the whole planning. Katia was always there reassuring us and gave us good vibes and energy and that was really appreciated !
Katia also has a great taste and working with her on the wedding design and moodboard was so much fun ! Katia is always really responsive through email or whatsapp and the communication was really good, we also met them couple of times and it was always a pleasure as they are really sweet !

I would have rated 6 stars if I could ! The entire team did an incredible job organizing our wedding ! During the last year, they have been very kind, always available, and so professional, making our dream a reality ! And what to say about the D-Day, everything was so smooth and under control that we would have never imagined being so relax and just enjoying this unique moment !
