We certainly had very clear ideas of what our wedding party should be, I had been collecting fantastic pictures of beautiful floral arrangements for years and I always thought my guests should be thrilled with the great food they could taste, I imagined a big park with lots of stalls and the chefs cooking for us and entertaining us, a bit like a show.
My husband and I are part of Gordon Ramsay's staff, I am a pastry chef and Felix the manager of Gordon's various venues in London, and most of our guests would have been star chefs from our team or from star restaurants all over the world....we couldn't get the catering wrong and that was our biggest fear.
We live in London and everything had to be managed remotely, we had a year in front of us and we started sending a thousand emails all over Tuscany but none of them convinced us, we are also in the industry and we understood that they simply wanted to sell us their service.
We read the reviews and everyone was collecting a lot of them until I found the showcase of Progetto Matrimonio, initially I was struck by the photos of the preparations, beautiful just as I wanted them, then reading the reviews I noticed a common thread, the availability and kindness of Elisa the owner, being able to organise and manage the organisation with her at 360°, which for me was fundamental and of enormous help, but there was always the fear of how we would eat.
I read among the various reviews one in particular was apparently negative and I immediately read the owner's response to that couple and there we realised that she would have been the right choice because only an expert in the field like us could answer in such detail, demonstrating the professionalism of the entire staff of Progetto Matrimonio: they had saved and secured a wedding that would have gone adrift had it been managed differently.
Elisa offered to meet us in a video call and there our impression was confirmed, time zero we booked the flight to Florence and the following week we were in testing and there all our fears dissolved, it was the right choice, the food was excellent, the presentation flawless, Elisa's professionalism and innate kindness, the chef and sommelier made us fall in love with the dishes and we signed up immediately certain that our guests would have a fantastic experience and so it was on 20 August 2023
Our chef friends complimented us both on the impeccable service and the punctuality with which the dishes were served to the guest, the whole service was excellent and we were certainly not a simple or lowly couple
In the aperitif Elisa had recommended a typical Lucchese corner, panigacci cooked in front of us and served hot with cold meats and cheeses from Garfagnana....li recommend them to everyone if you want a surprise effect wow assured

Many say 'the wedding day will be unique however it goes'. It is certainly true because it is full of emotions linked to the affections that make everything magical. But the ceremony and reception are full of tensions, not on that specific day but during the months leading up to it. Well, Elisa and her staff manage to understand what you want by first getting to know you (which is uncommon for someone in this job who tends to standardise everything) and then they try to coordinate needs related to the number of people, location and everything else, to what you think the dream wedding should be. They give security because they are professional, punctual, attentive and at the same time capable of not being 'pushy' or 'imposing'. I have made many changes this year and Elisa has always been there, at all hours, to reassure me by saying 'everything will work out, it will be beautiful'. And it did, thanks to all the staff!

I must say that choosing a caterer nowadays is not very easy. You rely a lot on other people's reviews. I didn't rely only on this, but also on the fact that when I sent the thousands of e-mails to the various caterers to get quotes, Elisa was the only one who called me on the phone, who wanted to hear from me and have a chat. I was already very pleased with this and then, after choosing Progetto Matrimonio, she followed us personally, finding the 'project' that best reflected our desires! I'm just saying that even today, some time later, guests still compliment us on the excellent food and organisation at our wedding! Impeccable service, food in abundance and literally delicious. Wonderful staff! Elisa is always available, at all hours of the day (and night), knowing how to advise you in the right way. I recommend choosing Progetto Matrimonio because you won't regret it!

When my now-husband and I decided to get married in Tuscany, the whole thing seemed rather overwhelming, with little idea of what the budget should be and how to create the wedding we had envisioned. We are both American and speak little or no Italian. Project Wedding was highly recommended to us by one of our British friends.

Our wedding in Florence was magical and could not have happened without our wedding planner Elisa from Progetto Matrimonio! A year before our wedding, we contacted many wedding planners in Tuscany and Elisa stood out from the start as the most enthusiastic, moving and flexible of the lot. As our venue was outside Italy, Elisa was the essential link to ensure things could be done as we had imagined, within our budget. She was always available for Skype calls and open to our ideas! During our wedding weekend, Elisa was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She worked with the vendors and our wedding party to make sure everything was organised as perfectly as possible. Because of this, we were relaxed for the whole weekend and could spend it with our family and friends without having to worry about any of the organisational aspects. Where do we start... These girls are incredible!! We can only praise Project Wedding. We planned our wedding in Tuscany from Canada, which could have been really complicated, but having them by our side made the process an incredible experience. From the very beginning, they made us feel completely confident that we could bring the vision we had for our wedding day to life. We worked closely with Teresa the whole way through. In exchanging hundreds of emails, she was always professional, extremely organised, super friendly, thoughtful and her attention to detail was perfect. She always replied to us very quickly (even though we worked in completely different time zones). She was always available for calls or Skype.... I even remember her coming out of a dinner party one evening to talk to us. We are very particular people who ask more questions than you might imagine and even when we knew it was too much, Teresa was always happy to listen to us and answered all our questions with kindness and courtesy. Lara helped make our dream wedding come true! We live in San Francisco and got married in Tuscany. Lara was easy to get in touch with and provided us with great insights into Tuscany, which was essential as we were planning a wedding! She directed us to the perfect florist and photographer based on our vision and budget. During the week of the wedding, Lara took care of everything and was very professional. As all our guests were out of town, Lara also coordinated their stay near our venue. If we had a question, she always answered our calls or emails promptly. When we decided to get married in Tuscany, the first thing we thought was to find a wedding planner on site who could help us and make the preparations fun.

After an initial video call consultation with Elisa we immediately understood that it was the right choice for us and in fact it gave us so many emotions that if I could I would do it all again.

I advise you to rely on Elisa if you want a perfect wedding with attention to every detail but above all if your first goal is to eat very well in typical Tuscan style and if you want a wedding coordinated and managed by an always present and super professional team! !!
