I'm glad I get to be the first to write a review for this absolutely phenomenal individual. Lauren was recommended to me by a friend who had her shoot her wedding. I was totally impressed with the pictures, as was a family friend who is a professional photographer in New York City so I booked her. My email went to her spam and she didn't see it until we had booked someone else unfortunately but she still had the date available. Lauren was more reasonably priced than the other photographer we had booked so we made the switch and will forever be glad that we did. Lauren showed up with the biggest smile on her face on my wedding day and started snapping away. She is a joy to work with and is one of the nicest people I have ever met. We are still waiting to see all the pictures (the wedding was only 2 weeks ago) but we are thrilled with the sneak peeks she's posted so far and know that we will be absolutely thrilled with everything else. We can't wait to use Lauren for our puppy shoot, maternity shoots, newborn shoots and family shoots forever and ever because she is simply the best!!

Lauren Halvorson has become like a member of our family. We have used her for all aspects of life, from our wedding to our maternity shoot and most recently, our newborn shoot. Our relationship with Lauren started in 2010 when we hired her for our wedding which she traveled to central Maine for. We had no idea what a treat we were in for. With her charisma, energy, humor and great personality it made our big day that much more special. She was like a ninja when shooting the wedding, you never knew she was there but caught every amazing moment. Because of the tremendous job she did, we have had family members and friends hire Lauren for their weddings. The pictures we have from these events get constant “ooohs” and “aahs” from friends and family and they comment on what an artist she is and are blown away by her creative outlook. She is a very kind and generous person who genuinely cares about her clients and will go that extra mile for you. We always keep in touch and look forward to the next opportunity that comes along for her to capture our life’s moments.

I LOVE Lauren Halvorson photography. She's a super cheerful person and it helps set the mood for the day. My family had no trouble smiling for the pictures she would take. Her and her assistant got all of the necessary shots in just over an hour, which is pretty impressive for the tight schedule they were on. Not to mention, the pictures are stunning.
