If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further. Lauren Godsil should be your first choice. Planning a wedding was something I always thought would be right up my ally-- heck no, I was wrong! I was not interested in dealing with all of the details, I just wanted to say "I do," break the glass and start dancing. Lauren and I were in touch about 2 weeks before my wedding, and what a perfect time for her to come into my life! This was right at the point where I was going to lose my mind and Lauren helped put me at total ease. She dealt with all of the vendors and came up with an entirely new to-do list of stuff I hadn't even thought about. Lauren was a true superhuman the day of the wedding as well. If there was something that needed to get done, she just did it her self (which was totally not a part of her contract!). Lauren comes off as soft spoken- but don't be fooled, she is a true boss-lady! She dealt with the inevitable things that go wrong the day of the wedding before I even had a chance to notice, and put all the divas in their place-- in her very sweet, calm, cool and collected manner.
Long story short, Lauren is your girl. Look no further :) .... and if you really want to be on Lauren's good side, give her a nice bottle of red wine!

Lauren MADE our wedding. This review is way way overdue and I am so sorry to Lauren that we did not write this until now. We did a ton of planning for our wedding at Descanso Gardens last August but Lauren made the wedding go off without a hitch. We have never met someone so unbelievably ON HER SHIT more than Lauren Godsil. She was only our day-of coordinator but that is kind of a joke because she was so much more than that. She took the time to review all of our contracts and noticed things that I would have never seen being a layman. She met with us several times before the wedding and always took the time to answer questions. She was worth five times what she charged. We could not have done it without her. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Lauren. You, and your team, made our wedding a dream come true.

Lauren was absolutely amazing and gave us so much peace of mind in the 2.5 weeks leading up to our big day. She was communicative, detail oriented, and always one step ahead. Her knowledge of wedding planning is impressive and so detailed! After planning the wedding for over a year, I thought I had everything figured out. But Lauren stepped in as our "day of" planner 2.5 weeks before the big day and really made sure to cross the Ts and dot the Is so that everything was perfect on our day. I didn't have to worry about anything. We just enjoyed the day! Thanks Lauren!

Lauren is AWESOME! She went above and beyond anything we could expect from a wedding planner. We had a partial planning package and were also planning the wedding from across the country. Lauren was incredibly helpful, made us feel like we were her only couple, and would be with us the whole time whenever we were in town. She responds quickly, is organized, knows every detail, and on top of that, was reasonably priced. I wish I had another event to hire her for just so I could work with her again. She is incredibly friendly and always available, overall she is exactly what a bride (and groom) needs during the wedding planning process and I couldn't recommend her more!

I had my wedding at Studio 1342 in LA and the studio coordinator recommended Lauren as the day of coordinator. I tried contacting other wedding planners before I was introduced to Lauren and almost gave up hiring a coordinator because all other coordinators were very expensive! But Lauren offered a very affordable price which worked perfectly with my low budget wedding :-)
My wedding planning process can be divided into pre-Laurena and post-Lauren. She basically made it happen. I am so thankful that I found her. The first day we met we sat down for 4-5 hours - she listened very carefully (very patiently) and also suggested some great ideas. She worked really hard to help me work within my budget and also contacted all my vendors and took care of all the complicated business for me.
She is very (I mean very) organized. Throughout the ceremony and the reception she made sure everything went smoothly and kept everyone happy :-) Most importantly she made sure I (the bride) was happy. I would totally recommend her to all my friends!

I was so lucky with all of my vendors - I feel everyone I worked with was fantastic, but Lauren really brought everything together. She regularly works with Descanso Gardens (you have to have a site coordinator there the day of, but Descanso usually assigns someone to each wedding and I was looking for someone to do more detailed things the day of the wedding, so Descanso recommended a few people to me and I am so glad Lauren and I were able to work together). She started working with me 2 weeks before the wedding. I had all of my vendors and ideas, but Lauren helped with all of the logistics. I know our wedding wouldn't have turned out as well without her. She is extremely organized and has great positive energy. The day of my rehearsal my in-laws were delayed in traffic and our rehearsal got started very late, but Lauren couldn't have been nicer and she did not rush us at all. I ended up have a ton of people show up to the rehearsal that were not in the wedding (they were coming to the dinner after) and she managed to gather all the people she needed and get through the rehearsal very efficiently. She put together a timeline and took over all contact with my vendors the 2 weeks before and thought of everything that could have gone wrong in advance. The day of the wedding she was fabulous and made sure the event ran perfectly (or if it didn't my husband and I had no idea). We were not aware of any glitches. I could go on and on more than I have here about how glad I am she was my planner. I imagine she would be even more amazing if you had her around for the entire planning process. I felt her fees were extremely reasonable for all she provided. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Lauren.
