One of the best decisions from my wedding planning was deciding to have a live painting as part of the experience of the day and hiring Laura for her talents to bring it to life! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our painting - it brings us so much joy to look at it hanging in our home every single day. From day 1, Laura was nothing but kind and flexible with us throughout the planning process. She truly took the time to answer all of our questions and attend to our needs. And meeting her in person was icing on the cake! Such a lovely human being - I only wish I got more time to chat with her throughout that busy day! Laura is amazing! Ever since I came across her page on instagram a couple years ago and learned that getting your event painted was a thing, it was always a goal of mine to have it at my wedding. The week that my husband and I got engaged, I called her and booked our wedding! Laura is so sweet, responsive and simply just amazing at what she does! It was such a pleasure to have her paint such a special day and I cherish it more because of that. Laura Jane's art was a gift from my family at our rehearsal dinner. We had no idea that she would come the next day to our wedding and create such a beautiful gift and art for our home. My sister worked with her beforehand to pick the package that my family wanted and we ended up with two beautiful paintings -- one from the ceremony and one from the reception. Laura Jane arrived at the wedding venue and set up and we had the opportunity to interact with her a few times and she was such a joy to work with. She also interacted with our guests and made it a fun experience for them to watch her do her magic. Laura took the paintings home and added her "finishing touches" for a beautiful piece of art that today hang in our home. Working with Laura was a breeze and she was so sweet, thoughtful and responsive. Just the BEST!

Laura is so great! She is a true artist in every sense of the word. Having her at our wedding really added to the magic of it all. During the ceremony, she was so friendly and engaging with all the guests, but without distracting from the ceremony or reception. Having a live painter at our wedding was such an inspired idea, and many guests said they would love to do the same for their wedding. Our painting turned out so much better than we could have imagined. The lighting in the brush strokes is beyond beautiful, and it has definitely become the centerpiece of the living room in our home. It’s something so much more special than a photograph. We will cherish it forever. Hiring, Laura to paint our big day was hands-down one of the best wedding-planning-decisions we made. She was so communicative through the whole process. Afterwards, she also sent a high-res file of our painting that we could use as our thank-you cards, and the painting arrived in the mail shortly after our event. As artists ourselves, it felt great to have another fellow artist as part of our big day, and we will happily recommend Laura with no reservations!

Their are no words to express the brilliance, talent, and passion I would use to describe Laura's ability to capture a moment. Our wedding painting is my favorite addition from our big day besides my husband. The best decision in our wedding planning was booking Laura Jane to capture the day. The painting, done inside the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano, is truly breathtaking.
