Amazing views and big venue

Beautiful venue with lots of open space. Had my wedding here in June and it truly is a hidden gem! Karin and her team were so communicative throughout the whole wedding planning process!

Very good service, flexible with most anything

This place was amazing! So beautiful, I had my winter wedding here in December and couldn't have asked for a better place! Of course me and my family totally decked it out, but it was such a gorgeous wedding. Overlooking the lake was so magical and during my wedding they still had all the Christmas lights up and Christmas tree, so perfect!

Love this venue! So flexible to bride's vision

Lake Wilderness Lodge was an absolutely PERFECT venue. They are very affordable and flexible. I had a fall October indoor wedding and it was so beautiful at this venue with the lake and the fall trees. The venue, itself, is HUGE. It has enough parking for all 100 people. It has 3 levels. We had our ceremony downstairs that fit 100 people, our reception on the main floor, and the photobooth/games on the 3rd floor. I love this venue because I was able to use whatever vendors that I wanted. We used food trucks for dinner and desert.

This venue is beautiful. We chose to do a winter wedding to save some on the cost thought. For an 11 hour rental it was $3,250; in February. Had we done it in June/July towards the summer it would have been considerably more at like $4,225.00 range for a 9 hour rental.

This venue was perfect! We had the perfect weather so you could see the mountain across the water right behind us during the ceremony. Even though it's part of a big park, the ceremony still felt private. The kids had fun running around outside and the adults loved hanging out on the balcony watching the sunset. The staff were very helpful too.

The Lodge was a beautiful venue. We lucked out and had blue skies and sun so we could see Mt. Rainier over the lake. We took the 12 hour rental option so we had plenty of time to set up, get ready, and take down without stressing. The 3 floors inside worked out great. We had cocktail hour downstairs leading out to the ceremony and the reception on the main and mezzanine levels. The whole venue looked great. The only thing I didn't care for was that we couldn't put anything on the walls, though it wasn't really necessary. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were also flexible with setup and use of outside vendors for the rest of the wedding.

We absolutely loved this venue, and chose it knowing that even though summers around the PWN can be gorgeous and definitely made for outdoor weddings, the weather sometimes has a mind of its own. With that in mind, we chose this venue after touring it on a very drizzly, cloudy February day so we could see a sort of "worst case scenario" (meaning the Mountain's Not Out and that's about it). In other words the venue has a great "Plan B" for all the many days when the weather doesn't cooperate. We had to add more hours for our Sunday rental because the 7 hours isn't enough for all the vendors to set up and wish it had the same 9 hours that Saturday had, but the great part is that the extra hours help accommodate the many vendors who are used to working there and love working there. The nearby arboretum is great for pictures and fortunately the other people using it move out of the way. But yeah, it's a city park so nobody is trying to make an insane profit off you, you can choose your vendors, and essentially the rules are very understandable and it essentially boils down to "it's yours to do what you want as long as nobody has to call the cops or Fire Department."
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
