Where do I start? There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Marissa and the entire Lake Shore staff are! Throughout the entire wedding planning process they were so incredibly kind and helpful. Marissa came in as wedding coordinator in March about 5 months before our wedding and she very easily calmed any worries we had! She was so wonderful to work with and helped with everything we needed. When the weekend of our wedding came all of the event staff were extremely helpful, kind and brought our vision to a reality perfectly. Everything went off without a hitch, it was the best day we could’ve possibly asked for and a weekend to remember. Everyone loved being able to stay on property for the weekend, especially our out of town guests! Every single cabin is fantastic, whether it be the views or the amenities, we had no negativity from any guest. We could not recommend Lake Shore Village Resort enough for a wedding, you will not be disappointed!

We had the most perfect wedding weekend here in October 2025. Our guests stayed right on the resort property, and it was so nice having every event for the weekend in one place. Marissa and her team were amazing - incredibly helpful both leading up to the big day and throughout the entire weekend. She kept everything running smoothly so that we could truly enjoy every moment. The bartenders were fantastic as well; our guests stuck to our signature cocktails all night because their margarita mix was so delicious. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Lake Shore Village Resort in May 2025, and it was the wedding weekend of our dreams. If you want a venue where everyone can stay together, relax, and celebrate in one beautiful lakeside location, LSVR is it.

We wanted a camp-style but elevated experience, and LSVR delivered beyond expectations. Marissa, our coordinator, was amazing: organized, calm, and on top of every detail. Even when rain forced us to move our ceremony into the tent (along with all the other May/June Saturday brides in New England), she and the team handled it flawlessly and the ceremony and reception ended up feeling incredibly intimate and special.

We had 130+ guests on-site for three days of pickleball tournaments, a pizza welcome party, kayaking, volleyball, and an after-party bonfire (thanks to Leif, who kept the fire going all night). The farewell pancake breakfast hosted by Michael and his wife was the perfect ending to the weekend.

We cannot recommend this venue or team enough. Our guests are still talking about it and so are we. Thank you Marissa and LSVR!! We can't wait to come back one day!

We couldn’t have asked for a better location and team to make our dream wedding come true! We are a couple that loves nature and wanted a venue that encapsulated that - Lake Shore was perfect! It’s perfectly tucked into the woods and has a beautiful lake front with soft sand. The lake houses were right on site, so our guests were able to spend the whole weekend with us. Plus, the whole resort was ours for the weekend, so we knew it would stay private for our wedding festivities!

Marissa and the Lake Shore wedding team made our weekend super seamless. They were on top of every aspect, so as the bride, I didn’t have to lift a finger! Their coordination and planning skills made our experience much more stress free! We even faced an unexpected emergency, and Marissa handled it like a professional to ensure our day would go on smoothly from there. We couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator!

We’d recommend Lake Shore for any couple that loves nature/forests/fishing/lake living! Not only does this venue fit the perfect relaxing fairytale wedding atmosphere, but Marissa and her team will ensure you have the most amazing experience! We can’t wait to go back as summer guests next time!

We had our wedding here and it was beautiful! Our coordinator Marissa went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect. The cabins are amazing with full kitchens, our guests that stayed had a great time.

The weekend was perfect. Even with inclement weather, the team ensured all of our visions and dreams came true. Marissa and all of her staff are truly kind and caring, wanting the best for the couple. We cannot recommend LSVR enough!!

We had a truly fantastic experience with Lake Shore Village Resort and Susan. If we had to do this all over again, we would 100% choose LSVR again - having all of our family and friends on site for the entirety of the wedding weekend was a dream, and something that we will never forget. Our only regret is that we could not also be guests at our wedding! Our guests repeatedly told us that this was one of the most fun weddings that they had ever been to, and I believe it - they spent Saturday swimming, boating, and getting to know each other, and all of the events went off without a hitch. We were in constant communication with Susan over the year(s) leading up to our wedding, and she was always kind, helpful, responsive, and available. She is also very cost-conscious and always looks to recommend affordable options rather than pushing extra gimmicks. We highly recommend the pizza truck that she recommends for Friday night (we had our doubts initially, but it was elegant and beautiful) as well. She was present and helpful throughout the wedding weekend, and I can’t imagine doing it without her! Thank you for everything.

I cannot say enough good things about LSVR. We recently had our wedding at the resort and it was an absolute dream!! This is most perfect venue, with beautiful cabins for our guests, a clean lake, private beach, and canoes & kayaks for everyone to use. All this on top of an incredible staff! Susan, Michael and Marissa were so amazing to work with every step of the way, they made us feel very supported and truly made the whole process so enjoyable! I wish I could relive our weekend at LSVR over and over, but we will be back for family vacations in the future! I highly highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful & seamless wedding weekend!
