Waterville Valley Resort is a stunning, open-air wedding venue tucked away in the heart of White Mountain National Forest. We offer a variety of different sites for ceremonies and receptions, ranging from secluded mountain-top vow exchanges to elegant garden tent receptions. Despite being among such vast wilderness, Waterville Valley has a welcoming small-town feel. We offer a choice of 3 ceremony & Reception locations:
- Osceola Arbor Cremony Site - Osceola Arbor is an idyllic, dreamy ceremony venue, with a large open field lined with birch trees and an elegant arbor overlooking Corcoran Pond; all surrounded by sweeping views of the White Mountain Range. Garden Terrace Tent Reception - Start the reception with your cocktail hour in the charming Speakeasy lounge and deck with mountain views; then stroll outside to the tent in the Garden Terrace where you will dance and dine under the stars.
- Mountain-Top Ceremony - Ceremonies on the Summit of Mount Tecumseh will amaze your friends and family. Beginning with a scenic chairlift ride up to the top of the mountain, your guests will be treated to an enchanting ceremony with panoramic views in the backdrop. The Freestyle Lounge Reception - Located right at the base of the ski mountain, the Freestyle Lounge offers breathtaking views with classic ski slope charm. Bright and airy, the Freestyle Lounge boasts stunning views of the ski slopes through floor-to-ceiling windows. This intimate venue is complete with a large bar area, a private Sky Box Suite, an outdoor firepit, open-concept seating, and more.
- Valley Room Ceremony/Reception - Celebrate your union in this classic, romantic ballroom. Kick off the night in your own private Speakeasy - an art-deco-style Bar Lounge where you and your guests can enjoy Cocktail Hour. Then hit the dancefloor and party the night away.
Depending on venue, During our peak season (mid-May to mid-October), Fri-Sun: minimum 100 guests, maximum 250 guests / During our non-peak season/non holiday, Sun-Thurs: minimum 50 guests, maximum 250 guests.

Amazing all around
I got married at Waterville Valley on 9/13/25, and I am still in awe of the amazing experience we had with Waterville. We did the mountaintop ceremony and then cocktail hour and reception at the freestyle lounge/base lodge. Everything about this experience was 10000/10. We worked with Abby and Missy during the whole coordinating process, as well as day of, and they were AMAZING. So helpful and knowledgeable, and the best communication. During the planning process, it was extremely helpful to also have their help with the transportation and room blocks (they handled it all). We were extremely lucky with perfect weather, but regardless, we knew it would’ve been the best day either way. I got ready in the bridal suite right on site which was so convenient and a huge room! The reception was amazing with the garage door opened which made for amazing flow from the dance floor to the outside fire pits/cornhole/jenga/etc. There was something for everyone! Food was done through Waterville, so not having to deal with an outside catering company was a huge plus for us…and the food was delicious!! I could go on and on about everything we loved about the whole planning process and how perfect Waterville made our special day, and I honestly do not have one negative thing to say. We've also received so many compliments from our guests about our wedding day! THANK YOU WATERVILLE, you made our day the most perfect day we could've ever dreamed of!

WVV Does Weddings RIght!

While we travel to the area year round, for camping, hiking and snowboarding, my wife and I also got married at WVV over LDW. We selected the osceola arbor location and couldn't have been happier with how the big day unfolded. Abby and Missy are THE best - they listen, offer suggestions, are transparent and have great communication. Very affordable compared to other venues in the area, and the best part is, no one has to get in their car for anything all weekend with the town square shops and dining a short walk from any lodging. The effort put into coordination by Abby and Missy to make our day the best was remarkable and am happy to have had them on my team through this exciting, but overwhelming process. From the food to the venue layout, to the reception tent - this was (so we've been told by many of our guests) one of the most fun weddings we've been too, and not just because it was ours!

Highly Recommend
We had an amazing experience at Waterville for our wedding! The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous – the mountain top was the most perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the Freestyle Lounge was beautifully set up and was spacious with a large dance floor and a big outdoor deck that was perfect for both the cocktail hour and reception.
Bri, Jen, and Tonya were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They took care of it all – from handling last minute needs and ensuring the other vendors were set up for success, to helping with things like my dress bustle, executing a few surprises I had planned throughout the night, and coordinating a specific custom ceremony recessional song and walk at the last minute (thank you, Bri!). They were incredibly accommodating, patient, and dedicated to making the night absolutely perfect. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were initially a bit nervous due to recent reviews and knowing that venue coordinators and wedding coordinators typically handle different responsibilities. But they far exceeded our expectations and we really can’t thank them enough. They even allowed us to come in a day early to decorate, which was actually a lot of fun with Tonya and her team. Then the next morning, they had everything neatly organized for easy pickup.
A special shoutout to Tonya – she is a total rockstar and was there for us both days from 7am until late at night! Every employee we encountered throughout the weekend was wonderful – from the welcome bonfire crew, the Golden Eagle Lodge front desk team & housekeepers, to the Valley Chop House owner and bartenders (we highly recommend Chop House for an afterparty), and the chairlift crew! One of the chairlift guys even sang a beautiful congratulatory song as he helped us on the chair on the way down, which my husband said was one of the most memorable parts of the night lol.
Having worked in hospitality for over a decade and helped with many weddings in the past, my standards were high. Waterville exceeded them in every way possible and we can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding day so special. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning, Hallmark movie-like setting and a dedicated team to bring their vision to life!

Can we do it all over again?
My husband and I are avid skiers and happened to look into Waterville to see if they did weddings, and they sure did! After getting an amazing tour from Erica, and getting every detail and piece of information we could of wanted, we said yes! We committed to Waterville a little over a year before our date and can say every step of the planning process was so easy and stress free thanks to Erica. She was able to answer any question we had through out the planning process even through the week of our wedding. When we arrived for our big wedding extravaganza we were welcomed with open arms from all of the Waterville staff, from the tasting, the rehearsal dinner, the bonfire (which was SO fun, our guests are still raving about it), to the moment we said i do,the reception, and the after party. Everyone was so nice and everything went PERFECTLY! Our vendors also enjoyed their time at Waterville, and had an effortless time with the set up and break down. The food at our reception was absolutely delicious, and the options were abundant! Our guests had a blast from the time they arrived until they left, and had everything they needed within the town center. The views are absolutely stunning, and the little town of Waterville is so cozy like something out of a magazine. We also included our dog in our wedding who was welcomed throughout the town! If you’re considering a ski or mountain wedding, Waterville Valley Resort should be a top pick! Erica and the staff think of everything from start to finish and you will not be disappointed!

Great Venue
We picked Waterville Valley because we could have everything right there in town. Once our guests arrived they need not get back into their vehicle until it was time to head home. The bonfire was a great way to get everyone together to start the weekend, followed by a cocktail hour in the speakeasy and a beautiful tented reception outside of the conference center. Everything went smoothly, and despite having the classic last minute things to think about and take care of, Erica made everything so easy for us. She was an absolute legend when it came to handling our questions and requests for more information on ideas we had. The venue itself just had a recent facelift as well, which helped make the whole thing feel like a better value. That being said, Erica's help alone made Waterville Valley feel like a great value!! We also had room blocks at the Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl - they were awesome places to have guests (rehearsal dinner at the Snowy Owl which was delicious). We had guests stay at the Black Bear and Silver Fox as well, and they enjoyed those also.

Dream Wedding Achieved!
I had been visiting WV since I was a girl and always dreamed about getting married there. My dreams came true on 11.11.22. Who could pass up those numbers and such a beautiful place. Everyone involved in our big day was amazing. Erica the wedding coordinator for Waterville Valley Resort knows what she is doing! She was such a big help and had all the answers and solutions to our questions. We communicated mostly via email because I live 3 hours away from WV and Erica made the long distance wedding planning process a breeze. I would highly recommend WV for your wedding. The guarantee they have what you are looking for, and if not it's the perfect place and opportunity to DIY!

October Wedding 10/8/22
Waterville Valley was the best venue for our wedding! We had perfect foliage for the weekend! The views from our ceremony at Osceola Arbor were beautiful! It was a great location in the mountains for all of our friends and family to gather and celebrate for the weekend. Erica and her team made sure everything ran so smoothly the day of and I didn’t have to handle a thing! Everyone raved about the food and the dinner service was so fast and efficient. I would recommend Waterville Valley to anyone that wants a mountain wedding

Beautiful, affordable wedding weekend in the mountains
Waterville Valley made our weekend "destination" wedding dreams come true! We wanted a venue with onsite accommodations so that all our guests from Massachusetts could spend the weekend with us. WV checked all our boxes: tons of hotel options, after-party options at local pubs, a casual but classy vibe, good bathroom availability (not porter potties, important to keep in mind for a tent wedding) and budget-friendly. The welcome campfire on Friday night and the after-party on Saturday night were really nice touches & allowed us to spend quality time with our guests. The newly updated bridal suite for getting ready in is beautiful and we got mimosas & food all morning/afternoon. The Osceola Arbor is breathtaking with the mountains and pond as a backdrop, and the Garden Tent (which they just added string lights & drapery to) is gorgeous and complete with lawn space with lawn games, a fire pit, and plenty of privacy. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful it was up there, how good the food was (and the drinks), and how we could walk everywhere! Erica, our onsite coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with and answered all my (many, many) questions in the year leading up to our day. She was so helpful and sweet and I always felt at ease knowing she was putting it all together. Our wedding weekend in the mountains was absolutely perfect and I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! We can't wait to come back.
