I got married at Waterville Valley on 9/13/25, and I am still in awe of the amazing experience we had with Waterville. We did the mountaintop ceremony and then cocktail hour and reception at the freestyle lounge/base lodge. Everything about this experience was 10000/10. We worked with Abby and Missy during the whole coordinating process, as well as day of, and they were AMAZING. So helpful and knowledgeable, and the best communication. During the planning process, it was extremely helpful to also have their help with the transportation and room blocks (they handled it all). We were extremely lucky with perfect weather, but regardless, we knew it would’ve been the best day either way. I got ready in the bridal suite right on site which was so convenient and a huge room! The reception was amazing with the garage door opened which made for amazing flow from the dance floor to the outside fire pits/cornhole/jenga/etc. There was something for everyone! Food was done through Waterville, so not having to deal with an outside catering company was a huge plus for us…and the food was delicious!! I could go on and on about everything we loved about the whole planning process and how perfect Waterville made our special day, and I honestly do not have one negative thing to say. We've also received so many compliments from our guests about our wedding day! THANK YOU WATERVILLE, you made our day the most perfect day we could've ever dreamed of! -

While we travel to the area year round, for camping, hiking and snowboarding, my wife and I also got married at WVV over LDW. We selected the osceola arbor location and couldn't have been happier with how the big day unfolded. Abby and Missy are THE best - they listen, offer suggestions, are transparent and have great communication. Very affordable compared to other venues in the area, and the best part is, no one has to get in their car for anything all weekend with the town square shops and dining a short walk from any lodging. The effort put into coordination by Abby and Missy to make our day the best was remarkable and am happy to have had them on my team through this exciting, but overwhelming process. From the food to the venue layout, to the reception tent - this was (so we've been told by many of our guests) one of the most fun weddings we've been too, and not just because it was ours!Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

We had an amazing experience at Waterville for our wedding! The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous – the mountain top was the most perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the Freestyle Lounge was beautifully set up and was spacious with a large dance floor and a big outdoor deck that was perfect for both the cocktail hour and reception.
Bri, Jen, and Tonya were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They took care of it all – from handling last minute needs and ensuring the other vendors were set up for success, to helping with things like my dress bustle, executing a few surprises I had planned throughout the night, and coordinating a specific custom ceremony recessional song and walk at the last minute (thank you, Bri!). They were incredibly accommodating, patient, and dedicated to making the night absolutely perfect. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and were initially a bit nervous due to recent reviews and knowing that venue coordinators and wedding coordinators typically handle different responsibilities. But they far exceeded our expectations and we really can’t thank them enough. They even allowed us to come in a day early to decorate, which was actually a lot of fun with Tonya and her team. Then the next morning, they had everything neatly organized for easy pickup.
A special shoutout to Tonya – she is a total rockstar and was there for us both days from 7am until late at night! Every employee we encountered throughout the weekend was wonderful – from the welcome bonfire crew, the Golden Eagle Lodge front desk team & housekeepers, to the Valley Chop House owner and bartenders (we highly recommend Chop House for an afterparty), and the chairlift crew! One of the chairlift guys even sang a beautiful congratulatory song as he helped us on the chair on the way down, which my husband said was one of the most memorable parts of the night lol.
Having worked in hospitality for over a decade and helped with many weddings in the past, my standards were high. Waterville exceeded them in every way possible and we can’t thank the team enough for making our wedding day so special. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a stunning, Hallmark movie-like setting and a dedicated team to bring their vision to life! -

Can we do it all over again?
My husband and I are avid skiers and happened to look into Waterville to see if they did weddings, and they sure did! After getting an amazing tour from Erica, and getting every detail and piece of information we could of wanted, we said yes! We committed to Waterville a little over a year before our date and can say every step of the planning process was so easy and stress free thanks to Erica. She was able to answer any question we had through out the planning process even through the week of our wedding. When we arrived for our big wedding extravaganza we were welcomed with open arms from all of the Waterville staff, from the tasting, the rehearsal dinner, the bonfire (which was SO fun, our guests are still raving about it), to the moment we said i do,the reception, and the after party. Everyone was so nice and everything went PERFECTLY! Our vendors also enjoyed their time at Waterville, and had an effortless time with the set up and break down. The food at our reception was absolutely delicious, and the options were abundant! Our guests had a blast from the time they arrived until they left, and had everything they needed within the town center. The views are absolutely stunning, and the little town of Waterville is so cozy like something out of a magazine. We also included our dog in our wedding who was welcomed throughout the town! If you’re considering a ski or mountain wedding, Waterville Valley Resort should be a top pick! We picked Waterville Valley because we could have everything right there in town. Once our guests arrived they need not get back into their vehicle until it was time to head home. The bonfire was a great way to get everyone together to start the weekend, followed by a cocktail hour in the speakeasy and a beautiful tented reception outside of the conference center. Everything went smoothly, and despite having the classic last minute things to think about and take care of, Erica made everything so easy for us. She was an absolute legend when it came to handling our questions and requests for more information on ideas we had. The venue itself just had a recent facelift as well, which helped make the whole thing feel like a better value. That being said, Erica's help alone made Waterville Valley feel like a great value!! We also had room blocks at the Golden Eagle and Snowy Owl - they were awesome places to have guests (rehearsal dinner at the Snowy Owl which was delicious). We had guests stay at the Black Bear and Silver Fox as well, and they enjoyed those also.Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

I had been visiting WV since I was a girl and always dreamed about getting married there. My dreams came true on 11.11.22. Who could pass up those numbers and such a beautiful place. Everyone involved in our big day was amazing. Erica the wedding coordinator for Waterville Valley Resort knows what she is doing! She was such a big help and had all the answers and solutions to our questions. We communicated mostly via email because I live 3 hours away from WV and Erica made the long distance wedding planning process a breeze. I would highly recommend WV for your wedding. October Wedding 10/8/22
Waterville Valley was the best venue for our wedding! We had perfect foliage for the weekend! The views from our ceremony at Osceola Arbor were beautiful! It was a great location in the mountains for all of our friends and family to gather and celebrate for the weekend. Erica and her team made sure everything ran so smoothly the day of and I didn’t have to handle a thing! Everyone raved about the food and the dinner service was so fast and efficient. Waterville Valley made our weekend "destination" wedding dreams come true! We wanted a venue with onsite accommodations so that all our guests from Massachusetts could spend the weekend with us. WV checked all our boxes: tons of hotel options, after-party options at local pubs, a casual but classy vibe, good bathroom availability (not porter potties, important to keep in mind for a tent wedding) and budget-friendly. The welcome campfire on Friday night and the after-party on Saturday night were really nice touches & allowed us to spend quality time with our guests. The newly updated bridal suite for getting ready in is beautiful and we got mimosas & food all morning/afternoon. The Osceola Arbor is breathtaking with the mountains and pond as a backdrop, and the Garden Tent (which they just added string lights & drapery to) is gorgeous and complete with lawn space with lawn games, a fire pit, and plenty of privacy. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful it was up there, how good the food was (and the drinks), and how we could walk everywhere! Erica, our onsite coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with and answered all my (many, many) questions in the year leading up to our day. She was so helpful and sweet and I always felt at ease knowing she was putting it all together. Our wedding weekend in the mountains was absolutely perfect and I couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! We can't wait to come back.Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

Waterville Valley is such a magical place for a wedding. Our dream was to have a mountain view wedding and a place where our family and friends could enjoy the area for the weekend. We loved that there were so many different types of accommodations for everyone, so many activities for families all within walking distance and you are in the beautiful White Mountains with a panoramic view. We decided to have our wedding on a holiday weekend which was perfect for us because it gave us a chance to spend more time with our family and friends. Waterville Valley offers so many activities for not only your guests but also for the wedding. We started our weekend with a friendly golf tournament, the golf club helped us organize, while the guys golfed the ladies either went for a hike or sunbathed by the lake. Then it was off to rehearsal and a delicious rehearsal dinner put on by Waterville Valley but there are many other options right in town if you wanted something different. After the rehearsal with our wedding party we had a Welcome Camp Fire put on by Waterville Valley where we were able to BYOB and had smores for everyone. The Camp Fire was so cute, very spacious and they took care of everything. For our wedding day, Erica, the wedding coordinator, made the day such a breeze. She really understood what we wanted and was on top of everything. She was so wonderful to work with, very professional, very knowledgeable, and worked with me and our venders to make our wedding dreams come true. WV is for Lovers
As second home owners in the valley we always knew when we got married we wanted it to be at the top of the mountain. On September 11, 2021 Erika, Abby, Taylor and the whole crew put together the most perfect day for us. Our ceremony was at My. Tecumseh summit and our reception was at the Freestyle Lounge. I wish that I could post picture reviews because words are not enough to describe the perfection of our day. We were able to have a welcome campfire after our rehearsal dinner by Corcoran Pond and we had a farewell brunch at the Freestyle Lounge the day after. There were some staff turnovers in the month before our wedding that initially really stressed us out. We were worried that all the details and planning we had already sorted out would need to be reviewed or that things would get forgotten but that couldn’t be further from the truth. We met the staff the week of our wedding and by the end I felt like they were family. Erica really organized everything she was so detail oriented and really eased our minds. Abby and Taylor really went so far above and beyond the entire weekend. The chairlift staff were incredibly cool and respectful of our guests. They even made my 96 year old grandmother feel very safe and secure. If I had to give you our top 3 favorite moments they would be: 1. The Food - at the tasting in April the food was fine, it was just the standard wedding food no good not bad just standard. BUT at our wedding everyone was raving about the food and it was soooooo good!!! You always hear about how the bride and groom don’t eat, I ate my entire plate of ratatouille and I wanted more. Get the ratatouille- trust me! 2. The transformation of the Freestyle Lounge. Just everything was so perfect and exactly as I’d envisioned. 3. The ceremony at the top - we got married in heaven it was like we were sitting at the top of the world. If you are looking for the perfect place to marry your best friend surrounded by all the people you love then this is the place. Park your car and get lost in the mountains. Can’t thank everyone at WV enough for making our dreams come true. Erica, Abby and Taylor are the dream team!!!! P.S. We cannot say enough good things about our wedding! We had the most magical day at Waterville. From the chairlift ride for the first look to dancing under the tent we had an amazing day! Erica and Taylor were great and made sure that our day went smoothly- we didn’t worry about a thing! Our guests enjoyed the fact that they could stay in the valley and walk to the wedding! We highly recommend getting married at this amazing spot!! -

Perfect Wedding in the Mountains
My husband and I got married in Waterville Valley in August of 2021. We fell in love with the charm of the town nestled in the beautiful White Mountains. We put our initial deposit down in January of 2020 (right before COVID). We went through 3 coordinators in the 20 months of wedding planning. In the end, Erica came to the rescue and did a wonderful job taking over the last month. We are so thankful for her hard work and attention to detail along with extreme patience as a COVID bride. Wonderful Venue
We couldn't have been happier with our venue. The venue itself is stunning. Everyone from event staff to hotel staff was just wonderful. Erica was fantastic, she answered all of our questions promptly and tailored our event to our specific needs. She even helped us quickly when our first DJ canceled last minute. We wanted for nothing. We had an incredibly memorable experience for our wedding. So many of our guests fell in love with the venue and want to come back. My husband and I got married at WVR on 10.16.21. I don't think there are enough words to express how magical the day was. The very affordable venue is everything we could have ever imagined and more. We did our first look pictures on the top of Mt. Snow, our ceremony at the osceola arbor, and our reception at the tent. The back drop for all of our sites were breathe taking and people (a month later) continue to comment and reach out on how perfect our special day was. If you are considering this venue look no further. Erica and her team will ensure your day goes off without a hitch. She was responsive and on top of every little detail, including a potential rain day plan (thank god it wasn't needed!) Her team were the nicest and most accommodating people I have ever met. They walked me through each step of my day, the tasting was perfect and answered all of my thousands of questions. I can not say enough good things about Waterville. I cannot say enough good things about Waterville Valley! It was the perfect location for our wedding. We wanted a fun, outdoor wedding where guests could have a fun time and it delivered above and beyond expectations! We had a welcome campfire with the Next Level Food Truck which was a great start to the weekend. The Next Level Food Truck has the best food and we brought fun lawn games. It was so hot, we all went swimming in the lake after the fire
The wedding itself was the best day ever! It was so fun to take the trolley to the ceremony location. The ceremony backdrop is so beautiful. The food is also WONDERFUL! Everyone was raving about the weekend and I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone. Erica, the wedding coordinator, was amazing to work with and was so helpful! We loved our wedding at Waterville Valley! Everything you need is in one spot - we were looking for a venue where guests could drive to, park their cars, and never have to get back in until it was time to go home - Waterville is it! Guests made a weekend of it, and had SO much fun.
The team was incredibly patient and helpful to me during the wedding planning process, and especially during the rescheduling/ unknown of wedding planning in a pandemic. They works with me to reschedule, watch state guidelines, and help make sure that I could still have the wedding I was dreaming of. The Waterville Vally Resort staff made sure all of my guests were safe, while still able to have an amazing time amid the pandemic in August 2020. Everyone was safe, healthy, and said it was weekend away they needed.
The food was also excellent. We still have guests who tell us how good their meal was. Chrystina took special care to set up all of my decor and detail touches, and the tent looked amazing. We can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary for years to come!
It also DOWN POURED during our ceremony. We wanted to try to fit it in before the rain. The Waterville team was ready (they were watching the radar) - they had adorable clear umbrellas that they handed out to each of our guests and bridal party, so everyone was able to stay (mostly) dry during the rain - which quickly passed once our ceremony was over.Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

Our daughter, and now son-in-law were married at Waterville Valley Resort earlier this month and I have to say it was everything we, and they could have hoped it would be. From the wedding coordinators, to the food, the covid restrictions which kept us all safe, rainy weather (which turned to sunshine after the wedding), their staff's ideas/suggestions/recommendations/flexibility were perfect! The bonfire the night before the wedding was supervised by WV staff, which left us enjoying the fire, the smores, and our first evening with family/friends outdoors. The accommodations and lodging were fantastic! The outdoor activities at WV Resort were enjoyed by all during our down time! You made it a wedding weekend to remember and for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! -

Absolutely the BEST decision we made for our wedding! When we were looking for our location, we looked on a list at every venue in NH. We came across Waterville Valley and we both had an instant feeling… “This is the one!” We contacted them and talked with Jackie. From the first moment of speaking with her there was a deep connection. There is not even remotely enough space to write about working with Jackie (the wedding coordinator), simply put she was just amazing and made some of the most stressful parts just melt away. Her attention to detail was impressive and she helped keep us on track during the whole planning process. She was quick to respond to our many questions and offered great advice. Anything we needed Jackie was right there to take care of and help us out. We even had concerns about some of the landscape and before we knew Jackie handled it. She was literally hauling hoses around the morning of our event to make sure everything was just perfect. Later on in our process, Christyna came on board who was equally amazing to work with.
From an event perspective Waterville Valley offered everything we needed and made us feel welcomed. When we went up the weekend of our wedding our names were all over the town welcoming us. We used the golf course as our rehearsal dinner and it was perfect having the mountains in the background with the sun setting. Such a perfect way to begin our magical weekend. We could write a book about our actual wedding…it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The word that we heard from many of our guests and the word we felt ourselves was… “magical”. I remember looking out of the bridal suite window and being so overwhelmed with happiness, viewing where I was about to marry the love of my life. The ceremony was everything we imagined…but one of our favorite moments was when we were at the edge of the tent, about to be introduced. It was the first time we saw the whole tent set up, all of the details we had spent months putting together and envisioning…but the actual vision literally took our breath away. The tent was so beautiful and they really helped to make it feel like “our” wedding. The staff was amazing, everyone commented on how they took care of things so well.
We had the best After-Party at Legends and dealt directly with Mike the owner, who was awesome! He had plenty of pizza for the guests to munch on, bar stocked and dance floor open for some late-night dancing! Perfect way to end our event and give us more time with our guests. Waterville also offers so many options for accommodations and up until days before did everything they could to make sure all of our friends and family had a room.
We could seriously write a book…Waterville Valley offers you everything you need on your special day!! We thank them all from the bottom of our hearts for our magical wedding day! -

If looking for a wedding venue look no further. We had the most incredible wedding at Waterville Valley this past October. At Waterville Valley you can have a wedding that is truly unique to you. With having so much flexibility we had a wedding that fit our personalities and far exceeded anything we ever could have dreamed of. What we especially loved is that at Waterville you have an entire weekend to celebrate and make memories rather than just one day. Jackie and Christyna made everything about the day effortless so we were able to simply enjoy ourselves and our time with our friends and family. Perfect Weekend
We had an amazing wedding weekend at Waterville Valley Resort. Jackie was amazing throughout the entire process from the initial tour to clean up the morning after. The weekend was entirely stress free for me. We had an after party at Legends which was so convenient and had great pizza. Our guests loved the food and the close proximity of everything within Waterville Valley. We couldn’t have asked for anything better and will be back every year to celebrate our anniversary. -

My husband and I got married on Oct 4th 2019 at Waterville. This was the beat day of our lives and we have Jackie and Waterville to thank. They made our dream wedding come true. For 2 years Jackie worked with me every step of the way and on our day her and the team did such an amazing job our day was flawless and even when there were hiccups we had no idea because she took care of them so quickly! The food and ambiance was amazing and the whole team went a above and beyond for such a good price. We got married at Waterville in June and it was literally the perfect weekend. We did the fire the night before which I would highly recommend it was beautifully set up and was a great way to talk to some before the day of the wedding. Jackie and Christyna were awesome to work with. Jackie was so responsive and helpful whenever I would have a question, which made the process much easier. Christyna was there the day of and made sure everything was running smoothly. We literally wouldn't have changed a thing she did an amazing job! It was a stress-free day! The set up of the tent was stunning and the food was great. The ability for guests to stay onsite was huge and loved that our guests were able to make it a weekend getaway. We took our first look photos on Snow Mt. I would highly recommend that, the photos were unique and just added to the special moment. It was a magical weekend and was the best day ever!! -

Waterville Valley was everything we could have wanted and then some. Jackie & Christyna are absolutely incredible and made sure our day went perfectly - no detail was spared! They were readily available throughout our engagement to answer our questions and worked with us through the rehearsal to make sure our day went without a hitch.
The tent was a beautiful setting for our reception and the lawn games were a perfect addition to our cocktail hour. We got married Labor Day Weekend and our guests are still raving about the food!
Also - because Waterville Valley is off the beaten path, it feels like you're renting a town for the weekend - the signs say your name and all the stores have your itinerary so that guests can easily reference where they are supposed to be and when. There is tons to do all weekend long, which meant our guests felt like they had a mini-vacation. As if that wasn't enough, the gorgeous backdrop that is Waterville Valley means your photos are going to be beautiful. -

My husband and I got married at Waterville Valley on July 20, 2019 and Waterville Valley was the perfect location. When we looked at Waterville for the first time as a wedding venue and first met Jackie Adams, within the first few minutes we knew this is what we were looking for. Jackie was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and everything exceeded our expectations. We had a bonfire on the Friday night before the wedding with s’mores and drinks and our wedding followed on Saturday with our ceremony at Osceola Arbor and reception at the Garden Terrace Tent. Being surrounded by our families and friends at such a beautiful location made our wedding exactly how we hoped it would be. The scenery was beautiful and despite getting married on a hot day, all of the staff at Waterville were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! -

Highly Recommend WVR for a Perfect New England Wedding!
We had the BEST experience working with Jackie Adams and her team. Though many guests traveled from Boston/ Southern NH areas, WVR lent itself as 'destination' wedding for the weekend. WVR offered so many major on-site features (most with a variety of options). We personally took advantage of block-lodging, rehearsal dinner, (Coyote Grill was phenomenal and catered to ALL our food allergy needs) recreational offerings for guests, a manned-private bonfire on our wedding eve, first-look, ceremony, reception, catering (non-bakery) and an after party at Legends (Shout out to Mike O'Brien who was wonderful to work with. The pizza was fantastic and we were also accommodated here for ALL food allergies). There were plenty more options to customize the experience! Jackie is a seasoned planner and very knowledgeable. She was thorough, accommodating and flexible during the entire process and she handled this VERY over-planned Bride with patience and kindness. With all of the logistics that go into a wedding, it was so wonderful having Jackie and the WVR team on our side. What a pleasant and successful experience. I would highly recommend WVR for your wedding. -

Jackie was flawless! Assisted every step of the way. I loved loved loved being able to meet with Jackie one on one the day before the wedding to walk through and go over everything I wanted. They set it all up and took it all down, being extremely mindful of my belongings. They took everything I wanted and made it better then imagined! My husband and I toured Waterville Valley and fell in love instantly!
Wedding planner, Jackie, was over the top amazing. We picked our venue over a year in advance, so she was stuck with me for awhile! She answered every single question/ concern that I had (which was a lot) not only in a timely manner but also had amazing recommendations and comments to add as well! When we arrived in Waterville the weekend of our wedding Jackie laid everything out for us so there were no surprises. Everything went smoothly (and if anything went wrong I didn’t know about it) She truly made the wedding planning process something I enjoyed and had so much fun doing!
The venue itself is absolutely breath taking. What sold us (besides the amazing view) was that EVERYTHING our guests would need/ want for the weekend was RIGHT there. Guests were able to get their hotel and then travel to the shops, restaurants, and pub with only a 3/4 minute walk. I loved that driving was able to be optional for guests who chose to do so.
We got married at Osceola Arbor and had our reception in the tent. Both naturally beautiful and so so stunning, which when decorating for our venue I loved that they complimented the natural beauty and didn’t over kill it with decorations. The tent is spascious and had the bar set right up in the back of it, so guests weren’t running in and out every time they needed a drink.
The food (this is a huge one!) was DELICIOUS!! we chose the cascade package and had chicken & fish. Both were seasoned perfectly and the veggies were cooked just enough. Guests that I talked to afterwards had nothing but good things to say, although some did mention they weren’t a fan of the salad, my fault for choosing that one. When you book Waterville you are given a book of dinner packages, what we really liked about this is there is so many options and options within options. We picked our package and then our package we were able to customize to our guests wants.
Our lodging was at the Golden Eagle Lodge and they were very accommodating for everyone who stayed there. A big seller for us with this lodge was they offer the freedom pass. The freedom pass gives you free access to do activities around Waterville. Since most of our guests were there for the weekend they really enjoyed being able to do different things and not have to worry about it costing a fortune to do all that they wanted. -
Amy Sent on 11/12/2017Waterville Valley is the perfect backdrop for your dream wedding, made even more perfect by Jackie and Jordan! I got married in Waterville on 8/19/17 and Jackie was with us from our initial tour, through all the questions we had along the way (with Jordan being added to the team and being a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding day). Jackie and Jordan were so great about communicating and provided us with lists and questionnaires to keep us organized and on track. Our wedding weekend was as smooth and stress-free as possible and it couldn't have been possible without Jackie and Jordan running things behind the scenes - we literally did not have to ANYTHING the whole weekend except enjoy the moment! To make things even more simplified: catering is run by Waterville and all the food was DELICIOUS, hotels are all within walking distance, there are a number of bars and restaurants in town for your guests, and there's every outdoor activity at your disposal!
One of the things we loved so much about Waterville, besides how jaw-droppingly GORGEOUS it is there, was all the personal touches Waterville provides to make your wedding really special. There were signs up congratulating us around town and wedding itineraries hung in all the shop windows. We had planned a campfire on Corcoran's Pond for the night before our wedding (which unfortunately got rained out), but the low-key atmosphere and laid-back feel was exactly what we wanted for our wedding weekend. We did our first look photos at the top of Snow's Mountain, which gave us the privacy we wanted and also made for some fun chair-lift photos! Our ceremony was at Osceola Arbor with the pond and the White Mountains in the background.
I really cannot express enough how perfect my whole wedding weekend was in Waterville. It had the perfect laid back, intimate feel we were looking for, and it was gorgeous to boot! Our guests are still raving about it, and I guess I am too. :) Thanks, Jackie and Jordan!!! -

Kelly Sent on 10/31/2017I can't say enough about Waterville Valley for our wedding day!! You pretty much get the entire town for two days, where they go out of your way to make you feel that way (your names are on signs all over town). Our rehearsal dinner took place at the Bistro on the water where we had the entire room to ourselves. :) We decided to do the bonfire on the beach the night before the big day, which was amazing! It was so much fun to be able to enjoy being around all our friends and family in a low key setting before the big day. I would highly suggest this to anyone booking Waterville as their venue. It, unfortunately, rained on our wedding day but thank god for Jackie and Jordan making this situation completely stress free (and even giving us the option of bringing umbrellas to the Arbor, if we REALLY wanted it outside- which we decided against). The day of was completely relaxed and stress free. The indoor ceremony space was fine, especially since the ceremony was super short. Looking back at our pictures though, the one thing I would suggest is the have it decorated more as the backdrop is a big blank white wall (but not a big deal). Our reception was amazing- they do a fantastic job decorating inside between the birch trees, the lights, and the hanging ball lanterns (which you bring). Our guests had so much fun, they still haven't stopped talking about it. The reception ended at 10 p.m., so we opted for the after party at Legends. I had gone back and forth about doing a breakfast the next day, but didn't end up doing it. This worked out because the next morning we ran into most of our guests at breakfast by the golf course. I seriously can't say enough phenomenal things about Waterville, Jackie, or Jordan! I'm so glad we decided on Waterville as our wedding location and we can't wait to go up and visit every year on our anniversary (we're already looking into buying a condo up there!). Another perk to getting married here is that you get season ski passes!

Waterville is perfect, the town, the tent, the mountains...It was truly everything you need for a perfect wedding weekend in the mountains. On top of that, Jackie is an amazing coordinator and made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. She had an amazing staff supporting her that made the day exactly what we wanted. She was always so helpful and responsive in the planning process. She even got us our favorite beers for the reception, even though mine was a summer beer and already off the shelves at most stores. I am so happy we found Waterville, it truly was the best day ever!
The one thing I will warn brides about Waterville is the hotel blocks. Be sure to look into this as early as you can because there are many options and you want spend the time looking at them all and be able to get enough rooms at the ones you like best. You won’t have an issue getting rooms because there are many hotels, but don’t leave it until last minute! We did ours almost 1.5 years before our date and there was one hotel already fully booked our wedding weekend. -

Jackie, the wedding manager and her team were phenomenal from start to finish and had every detail down to a science the day of. They were so quick to respond to every little question I had over 15 months of planning--even the tiniest of things, I had their attention. The food (including special requests I made not even on the menu) was SO delicious and guests could not stop raving about it. All of the staff were highly professional and took guest allergies seriously. They made sure we, the bride and groom were well cared for all night. The resort was amazing--they had our names broadcasted everywhere with big congrats, signs directing guests with details... the lodge staff were welcoming and handed out our welcome bags no problem... the scenery was beautiful and and our guests used their passes to golf, do chair lift rides, kayak, etc. We held our rehearsal dinner at the golf course which was also delicious, and had a small morning after gathering at the Golden Eagle's lobby. Everyone was just so accommodating and made sure we had an amazing experience. Again, our guests could not stop raving about their overall experience--the views, the food, the staff, the lodging... getting married here was the best decision we made! -

I have a family member that worked in catering and they said that it was hands down the best tent set up that they had seen. Jackie is unbelievable and extremely responsive. You can definitely feel confident that your day (weekend!) will be run smoothly with her at the helm. She is extremely open to new ideas and will do all that she can to make it happen. We knew that it was going to be an event to remember, but Waterville definitely exceeded our expectations. A few of our guests came up to us ask some details on our experience in hopes of potentially booking it in the future and I can only hope that we'd be able to come back to Waterville for another wedding! -

Not only was the location beyond beautiful , but the service was great as well. Jackie was always so responsive and quick to answer any questions I had. She made the entire planning process so stress-free, and was always so personal rather than treating me like just another bride. On the day of the wedding, a light rain storm came in about 30 minutes before my ceremony, leaving me the tough decision of having to move it inside or keep it outside at Osceola Arbor. Having my heart set on Osceola Arbor, I decided to keep it outside. Shortly after making my decision and proceeding to finish my hair & makeup, I noticed that the rain began to come down even harder. I quickly called Jackie and she worked with her team to get the room inside completely ready, and to direct my guests to the right spot. On a stressful moment, she kept calm and was completely supportive, ready to work under any condition I chose to follow through with. Following the ceremony and photos, the reception seemed to fly by as my husband and I were being pulled back and forth between guests to say hello. While we were kept busy by friends and family, Jackie was there to ensure the timeline of the night was followed, taking care of every need that we couldn't attend to. Along with Jackie's continuous help, her and her team also made the reception tent look absolutely beautiful. I still have family & friends telling me how gorgeous it all looked. Overall, I am more than happy that we chose Waterville as our wedding venue. From the amazing views, to the service and support of the entire staff, Waterville Valley Resort truly made our wedding the memorable day that it was. -

My husband and I are still in absolute shock at how amazing it was to have our wedding at Waterville Valley! We are both avid skiers, love the mountains and wanted to bring our guests to a lovely ski town with gorgeous views; Waterville Valley does not disappoint! While touring the venues they offer and the town we fell in love with the people, the town and the mountain itself. From the stunning photos at the top of the mountain to the cozy rustic lodge down bellow, our friends and family members are still talking about it as one of the most unique weddings they have ever been to. We had our wedding at the mountain top in Waterville Valley in late August. We had the reception at the Freestyle Lounge and the girls were able to get ready in the Hideaway Suite. Everything about the event was beautiful and easy. The get ready lounge was massive - so much room to spread out and relax. We were a little nervous before booking the wedding due to some unfavorable reviews but we found them to be totally untrue. Everyone we worked with - from Bri to Missy and beyond were so friendly and helpful. Missy was especially great in communicating all the timeline of the day, any items that needed attention and where we needed to be and when. We didn't feel any stress wedding day. The actual ceremony site up top is stunning. We loved the party at the Freestyle Lounge - great food and drinks. The big open garage doors allowed for the folks who didn't want to dance to still hear the music and be a part of the party while enjoying the outdoors. We are so beyond pleased with the entire staff at Waterville Valley. Truly a hidden gem. All of our guests were commenting that they wanted to come back to enjoy all the beauty the town square has to offer and we heard nothing but good things. First off, Erica (their day-of coordinator) is super-human. She was responsive, kept track of everything we discussed, kept us on track the day of the wedding, and went above and beyond to help us prepare for our wedding day. My married bridesmaids were impressed with her, too. Waterville is lucky to have her! The kitchen staff was also better than we ever could have hoped for. We requested that the petite filets, for 100+ guests, be cooked medium rare. They delivered. Our guests liked the food, which was a big plus.
This was a destination wedding for us, so we loved that everyone was able to stay on the property. Figuring out the room blocks got a bit tricky at times but it all worked out in the end. The highlight of our wedding weekend was seeing our guests out and about, enjoying the property - hiking, paddle boating, riding the lift up for the views and waterfalls.
Now for the not so great. The reception tent is advertised as being "heated." It was horrible. The propane heaters kept malfunctioning / weren't sufficient. The staff was actively working to try and get them running properly but it was awful even once they were. We could see our breath in early October. How they host weddings in there through mid-October is beyond me. Several of our older and medically fragile guests had to leave the reception early because it was so cold. Given that everyone traveled to get there, it was beyond unfortunate that they couldn't fully enjoy the event. Guests leaving early due to the cold also meant that I didn't have a chance to thank everyone for coming or talk to relatives who I rarely get to see. I spent a good chunk of my time checking in with staff on the heating, and apologizing to guests for how cold it was. Our friends who were drinking and dancing managed (many of the ladies borrowed jackets from the guys) but anyone who was sitting still was uncomfortably cold. If I'd known the temperature would be an issue, I would've looked into additional heating options.Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

We genuinely weren't convinced we would have a wedding until we found Waterville Valley. It was our top priority to bring our family and friends together to take over a small town - Waterville Valley made us feel like that is *exactly* what we did. They made everything so incredibly easy, from the Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Drinks, straight through Bagels in Town Square to say goodbye to everyone. There were also so many different accommodation options for varying group sizes and super reasonable price points. Not to mention we felt like celebrities in town on the big day! We loved the fun vibe - being able to take photos with our bridal party all over with the trolley option and also the Campfire option totally sold us. Exactly what we were looking for!
Waterville Valley is a perfect wedding venue! We were looking for a venue with mountain views and a place where all of our guests could stay on site. Waterville was exactly that! Christyna and Conrad could not have been anymore helpful! From our many questions before the wedding, to our prewedding meeting when we were up there, to the set up of our center pieces we cannot be more thankful for Christyna and Conrad! We had our ceremony at Osceola Arbor and it could not have been a more beautiful setting with the pond and mountains in the background. The reception was also exactly what we were looking for as well! Lots of dancing in an outdoor setting with incredible food, and Waterville delivered once again. Waterville Valley Resort was absolutely stunning and truly exceeded our expectations in so many ways! Our ceremony among the mountains and by the pond was exactly what we had dreamed of, the scenery was breathtaking and made for such a memorable moment. The reception space under the tent was gorgeous, and the food was fantastic.
We were so grateful to have a bridal suite to get ready in, and the venue was able to accommodate us by letting us in an hour early, which made getting ready so much more relaxed and enjoyable. The location itself was perfect for a weekend getaway, everything was walking distance, and there was so much for our guests to do. They loved riding the chair lift up the mountain, hiking to waterfalls, swimming, and enjoying all the other activities the resort offers. It really created a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
While the venue was gorgeous and everything went smoothly on the day, we did experience some communication issues leading up to the wedding, which is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. That said, everything ended up working out, and having a day-of coordinator was super helpful in navigating any small hiccups.
Overall, I would highly recommend Waterville Valley Resort for couples looking for a stunning mountain wedding with plenty of activities for guests. Just plan ahead for communication and consider having a coordinator to help the day run as smoothly as possible.Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

We had a wonderful time at Waterville Valley for our wedding. They were super flexible and caring when it came to moving our date another year out due to covid. Christyna is absolutely wonderful! The arbor is beautiful and the food is also amazing. The one thing for us was communication and breakdown of prices. We wouldn't always hear back. Our rehearsal dinner was at the golf course and we didn't finalize everything and numbers until the day of / take a while for us to hear back. For us, everything was at a weird time with the world opening back up so that likely played a part. Overall, we absolutely recommend WV!Waterville Valley Resort's reply:

My husband and I are very familiar with Waterville Valley so choosing to have our wedding here was a no brained. We held our wedding on 9/29/19 and it was the most magical day ever! Jackie and Christyna (wedding coordinators) are wonderful people to work with. There were a few minor issues with lodging (Didn’t involve Jackie or Christyna), my bathroom baskets went missing and never made it on display during the wedding (no big deal), and we did have an issue with the chicken during the dinner but they immediately handled the situation and put the cost of the chicken towards the bar bill. My friends and family told me it was one of the best weddings they attended. Can’t wait to celebrate our 1st anniversary here. Thank you!!! -
