Nestled in the idyllic lake region, The Lake Estate on Winnisquam is a luxurious wedding venue in Tilton, New Hampshire. Generations have lived on the land, caring for it, building communities, and enjoying the water. Now, the expert team honors that history by taking over as caretakers and providing a place where people can gather to celebrate their milestone events.
Facilities and Capacity
The Lake Estate on Winnisquam maintains its original charm while boasting modern amenities. High ceilings, wood beams, eye-catching chandeliers, and stone walls create an ideal rustic setting for any occasion. Ceremonies can be held out on the grounds followed by cocktail hour by the glittering lake. After a reception in one of several different spaces listed below, enjoy comfortable overnight accommodations with incredible views of the water and surrounding natural beauty. Throughout the planning process, the team will provide assistance every step of the way and is dedicated to bringing the wedding of your dreams to life.
The Point (Capacity 200)
Pristine preserve setting nestled amongst white pines and birch streets at water's edge. The Point is a short five-minute walk from our front entrance.
The Deck (Capacity 175)
Reception platform extending over the water for captivating lake and mountain vistas. Located adjacent to the Great Lawn.
The Orchard (Capacity 150)
Serene setting amongst our Cortland and Macintosh apple trees just a short walk from our front entrance.
The Estate Ballroom (Reception capacity 234 / Seating capacity 220)
Our signature wedding venue. Authentic artisan and beam design, milled and constructed by true New England craftsmen. Imposing barn style doors welcome you to the breathtaking lake and mountain views. 1,800 square foot balcony overlooking the Great Lawn, flower gardens and lake.
The Winnisquam Room (Reception capacity 90 / Seating capacity 80)
Intimate lake and mountain views with covered outdoor balcony. Ideal for rehearsal dinners and post-wedding brunches.
Belknap Room (Reception capacity 58 / Seating capacity 58)
Inspiring lake and mountain views with outdoor patio adjacent to Great Lawn and flower gardens.

What truly sets this estate apart, however, is the extraordinary staff. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to ensure every single detail was handled with grace. They didn’t just coordinate a wedding; they anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. They were incredibly helpful with every moving part, no matter how small, and their kindness made us feel less like clients and truly like a part of the Lake Estate family.
A special, heartfelt thank you goes to Grace, our event manager. We quite literally could not have done this without her. Grace is a visionary; her attention to detail is unmatched, and her dedication to turning our specific dream into a reality was evident in every corner of our wedding day. She stayed two steps ahead of everything, allowing us to simply breathe and enjoy our moment.

The Most Magical Venue, The Most Phenomenal Team
That being said, it was the people that made this day incredible. Guen, Grace, Jess and their team kept everything running smoothly - and we had a big wedding! - and I didn't have to think of anything besides enjoying the day. Above and beyond, kind and helpful, we walked into the ceremony and ballroom to everything flawless. They really know how to create those magic moments - opening the ballroom door for us to walk in, stealing us away for one on one time during cocktail hour to eat, setting up for a string quartet AND a seven piece band. It was all amazing.
If you're hesitant because this is a new venue, don't be. It is fully ready to host the most spectacular wedding.
