We almost did not write this review, to keep this hidden gem to ourselves. Lake lawn is a friendly, rustic yet modern, familly-owned resort that has been around since 1876. You can feel the history of the place as you walk through the long halls. There is something for everyone here - space to play outdoor games, beautiful scenery, organized activities for kids, arcades and a game room, great food, multiple pools, a beautiful golf course, a cute gift shop, boat rentals, and a gorgeous lakefront. This is a fantastic place to spend extra time with family and friends around the time of the wedding. We stayed for one week with our families and made some lifetime memories.

Our ceremony and cocktail hour were on the lakefront and it could not have been more beautiful. The reception room (Geneva ballroom) was beautiful and the food was delicious. The price is reasonable for everything you get. We did our rehearsal dinner on their charter boat and everyone loved it, it was such a great time. Our day of coordinator, Pam Linker, was absolutely fantastic and was always finding ways to accommodate every request. She also reserves her day for one wedding only which allows her to truly make sure everything goes perfectly. We found this was not something you find often at venues.

Overall we could not be more happy that we did our wedding here. Could not recommend more highly!

We had an absolutely beautiful wedding at Lake Lawn, which extended beyond our wedding day as we had a whole weekend at the resort. Our rehearsal dinner was on the Lake Lawn Queen, which our bridal party thought was the coolest thing, and our wedding brunch the day after the wedding was held in the Great Room (everyone loved the omelet station!). We loved that our families were able to be together for the weekend, and everyone could simply walk to the different events, as everything was on site at the resort and easy for everyone to get to. As for the actual wedding, our cocktail hour was on the Lakefront Terrace (beautiful), and the dinner/dancing was in the Lake Lawn Room, which was big enough to accommodate our families but small enough to feel intimate. The food was also delicious; everything from the cocktail hour (the coconut shrimp is the way to go) to dinner (the steak option was a favorite) was very very good. We also were lucky enough to work with Abby with the wedding team at Lake Lawn, who was so wonderful to work with. She gave us fantastic recommendations (our DJ, florist, and photographer were UNREAL), she answered all of my emails that contained multiple questions, and she was really good at setting our expectations to know when certain things should happen and keeping us on track. She also went above and beyond because I had my bachelorette at Lake Lawn, and she helped me reserve a bonfire on the lakefront and a tab/wristbands at the Lookout Bar for our group. Timeline planning was also incredibly easy, and Abby was very flexible with us when we wanted to modify the timeline to add a few additional things. She also handled our very last-minute request for some bottles of Prosecco with no problems! On the day of the wedding, she helped set up our favors, guest book, signs, and other details we worked with her on, and everything was set up exactly as we wanted. She also helped field our vendors, which was a HUGE deal for us! We honestly cannot recommend Lake Lawn and Abby enough!

The very best location for our wedding event was Lake Lawn Resort in Delevan, Wisconsin. Our small group of 22 easily could be accommodated in a private function room with our own bar tender and our own servers. Everyone's menu preferences were met, and we had gorgeous lake views, all for a reasonable price! Our group was a casual group, and unnecessary formality was not forced upon us.

Even our place cards were simple enough to make it smooth and easy for our three terrific servers to serve the correct meals to the correct guests with no confusion and without excessive formality.

While not all of our guests stayed overnight at Lake Lawn Resort, all of our guests were given that option and they were offered rooms at different price points. Each guest who booked a room at Lake Lawn Resort was very pleased with their clean, attractive rooms, the many fabulous food and beverage options located at the resort, and the pool and spa.

Our event planner was Danielle. She helped us every step of the way. Danielle is a detail-oriented person, and she did not let one detail slip through any crack. Danielle was excellent with follow up. She saw our event through from start to finish. Our event was held 6 months ago, and our 22 guests are still talking about our unique and very special wedding event. We remain deeply grateful for the excellent service and attention to detail for our small wedding event!

Incredible value for the money, phenomenal staff and made our wedding perfect. Everything went to plan and even if it wouldn't have, this staff has managing weddings down to A FINE ART. I cannot recommend this place enough.

As parents of the newlyweds, we couldn’t have imagined a more magical wedding day than the one at Lake Lawn Resort! Danielle Lattanzio, & Hayley Peterson their wedding specialist, made the entire experience seamless and truly special. The chef-attended food stations were incredible—guests kept going back for seconds at the pasta bar and hand carved filet station! The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming. Thank you for helping create memories our family will cherish forever!

If Lake Lawn could have controlled the weather they would have! We got Married over memorial day weekend, generally a good weather weekend in the Midwest! The morning was beautiful but by the ceremony it was overcast and chilly. Danielle our coordinator was the most wonderful person to manage our day! I cannot say enough positive things about Lake Lawn and Danielle! If you want a venue that is cozy, beautiful and filled with activities, this is the perfect place! A favorite item from most guests were the French fry shots we had at cocktail hour!

Danielle and the entire staff and Lake Lawn Resort are truly outstanding! Every person we worked with was friendly and helpful. Lake Lawn was very accommodating to every request we had during the wedding planning process. The event was handled flawlessly!! It was an added bonus to have ceremony, reception, and room block all at the same location. We highly recommend this wedding venue!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better venue. This was everything I wanted and more. We had the most beautiful day with the most gorgeous views. The grounds at Lake Lawn are amazing and we are so excited to go back for our 1 year anniversary.

When choosing Lake Lawn, we were in contact with someone who ended up leaving after we decided on the venue. This meant that someone else had to take over to guide us through the process. Jaci took over with ease, answered all of our questions (we had many lol), and helped make day of run smoothly. It was also helpful that I was able to set up the reception room the day before due to there not being another wedding the weekend of ours! If anything could have been better it would have been the flexibility in allowing a food truck for a late night snack. The add on alcohol prices and energy drink prices seemed a bit pricey too as we did choose the top package. All in all, I would do it all over again and relive the day if I could. It was a dream!

The entire team was professional, attentive, and dedicated to making our day unforgettable. A huge part of what made our experience so incredible was our wedding coordinator, Jaci.

Jaci was a dream to work with from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive to all my emails and questions leading up to the big day, ensuring every detail was addressed. Her professionalism and expertise made the planning process seamless. On the wedding day itself, Jaci went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to her, we were able to fully enjoy every moment of our special day without a single worry.

My daughter had her wedding at Lake Lawn Resort on October 4. It was absolutely beautiful! The lake was glistening all during the ceremony! The buffet at the wedding was amazing!
