To anyone getting married in the upstate NY region, I 1000% recommend working with Kylene Lynn Photography! Her transparency, professionalism and eye for photography is unmatched. From our initial informational call she earned my trust and from that point forward was a joy to work with. I received our wedding photos ahead of schedule and am blown away with the number of high quality, beautiful photos of our day in Cooperstown. One thing that was important to me was to capture candid photos of our guests, and when I scroll through it really feels like I am re-living our wedding day! I highly, highly recommend Kylene! Throughout the planning process, she was professional and patient with all of our questions and requests. On the day, she and and her assistant were easy going, calm, and made us feel very comfortable. We received the photos quickly which was such a nice surprise. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and we are so happy we hired her.

Where to even begin!! Kylene is INCREDIBLE at what she does. Her photos are amazing, and she is genuinely so fun and easy to be around. Our engagement and wedding pictures were done with her, and I could not be more obsessed with the photos we received. Leading up to our wedding, Kylene was super on top of everything and quick to respond to all my questions. On the day of the wedding, Kylene and her second shooter made everyone feel so comfortable, told us where to stand and how to pose and even cracked a couple of jokes to get real smiles out of everyone. She had our previews back to us only 2 days after the wedding and the rest (1,500 pictures!!) back in less than a month - amazing!! The pictures are so clear and absolutely perfect. She really captured every single aspect of our wedding in the most beautiful way. I truly could not recommend Kylene more!

Kylene was OUTSTANDING as both a photographer and a moral support on our wedding day! We got married in Fair Haven, NY but live in Seattle - and as a bride who planned her wedding from across the country, it was so nice to have a photographer as communicative and chill as Kylene. She sent the sweetest welcome packet, got on as many phone calls as I wanted, and was incredible with helping work through the timeline multiple times. She arrived and jumped RIGHT in on the day of. She got shots of EVERYTHING and even things I didn't know we wanted. She brought an awesome 2nd shooter who was incredible as well. She helped us feel connected to our day and each other, vs. making the day feel like a staged photoshoot - asking us several times if we wanted to take a break, asking if we wanted to take certain shots vs. "telling us what to do". She was the best hype woman with fun shots and things we wanted to do. She started screaming the lyrics of Hollaback Girl when our speakers went out, mid-song, and single handedly saved our reception from an awkward pause in the party! (seriously, she saved the day with that, and got EVERYONE singing along). She really understood what our priorities were, and only made us leave the dance floor when *really* necessary (that sunset was just too good to not get a few photos!). She was incredibly communicative and checked in to make sure we were doing good the entire day.

I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Kylene. I wish I lived closer so we could hire her to photograph every single life event (honestly, will probably travel to NY to have her take family portraits in the future).

I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a laid back photographer who makes your wedding day feel magical and not like a "forced photo shoot" but still somehow gets BETTER photos than other photographers, hire her. Immediately.

Kylene shot our wedding in Cazenovia, NY this August. My husband and I were very picky about finding the perfect photographer and I feel like we got SO lucky finding Kylene. She did an AMAZING job. Every single photo she shot is beautiful. She did not miss a single thing our entire day. Kylene Lynn photographed my daughter’s first look and wedding on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, NY. Kylene immediately put us at ease. Her excellent ideas and concise directions made being photographed relaxing and fun. We loved working with her even before we saw the pictures! She quickly got the photos to us and we were all blown away by the gorgeous results. These photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t be more pleased with Kylene and her work!

We absolutely loved working with Kylene! We hired her in 2019 for our 2020 wedding, and she was so kind and supportive when we had to postpone due to Covid. We finally got to work with her this summer and it was well worth the wait. As soon as she arrived to take photos, she immediately put me at ease and was so easygoing and up for any ideas I had. Neither my husband nor I are particularly comfortable in front of a camera and had been worried about how to pose, but she gave us clear direction that helped us feel confident. She never gave too much direction, but just the right amount. She really made us feel like models with her positive cues. During the ceremony and reception, I felt like she was always nearby, but gave us space and I hardly noticed her taking pictures. All my guests loved working with her that day.

Not only was it a pleasure working with her that day, but our photos turned out AMAZING!! Everyone looks fantastic in them and she totally captured the day. She got a photo of everything I had hoped for, and more. I cannot say enough good things about Kylene. She just was wonderful to work with and I am in love with our photos!

Working with Kylene was great and the pictures she took for our wedding were incredible! My husband and I are both pretty awkward and we weren't really looking forward to the posed photos. But Kylene made it super fun and I'm so happy with the results! In addition, Kylene captured so many great candid moments at the wedding! Kylene and her team knocked this out of the park! I was really looking forward to Kylene shooting our wedding because of her intentions of focusing on capturing lots of candids alongside the posed shots. We received our photos yesterday & I haven't stopped looking at them!
