I can't rave enough about this place. Everything was perfect. Though the perfect weather was not in their control, the beauty of the grounds, all it had to offer (outdoor gorgeous ceremony location/views, train rides, lawn games, cocktail reception, smores, reception center, dance floor, yummy food, great attentive staff (loved Megan, Annie, and all the rest)....I can't emphasize enough that this is THE PLACE to get married if you are looking for a venue like this. Plenty of places for photo ops!! Wish I could do this every weekend!

We are incredibly grateful to have found and booked Kuiper's for our wedding. The venue was gorgeous and the staff was incredibly flexible and friendly.

Prior to booking, our only concern was the price tag and inability to cater our own food. We're very happy we moved passed these concerns as Kuiper's is very accommodating and will work with you to craft an event order that suits your needs. The food and drink was fantastic (we highly recommend trying their ciders) and there were countless ways Kuiper's provided value for us that we did not account for on the front end.

Wedding planning could have been a major headache at a different venue, but a lot of the smaller details were completely taken care of by Kuiper's, many of which were last minute requests by us. For example, days before our wedding we requested table numbers, an easel, and several layout and logistical changes. They even offered to print out our drink menu and other signs on the morning of our wedding.

We definitely recommend Kuiper's Family Farm to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a friendly and resourceful staff.

We had an excellent experience hosting our wedding at Kuiper's Family Farm! The venue is gorgeous and perfect for a fall wedding. The staff was friendly, professional, and able to accommodate our various requests to create our picture perfect day! Would definitely recommend Kuiper's Family Farm for your wedding!

My Husband and I were looking for an amazing venue for our wedding day and Kuipers did Just That! From the beginning to the very end they exceeded our expectations

We choose Kuiper's because the venue sold itself from the very first tour. The property is beautiful and allows for all sizes of weddings. Nick was fantastic with helping us plan our wedding all the way up to the big day. Annie was amazing with everything and anything we needed on the wedding day. I could not have asked for a better venue and support team to help me plan my dream wedding. We would highly recommend Kuiper's to any couple starting to plan out their big day. Please go take the tour, you will not be disappointed!!

The amount of flexibility, responsiveness, and kind gestures we received while working with Kuiper's and their team cannot be understated. We had our original wedding date to be in May 2020 until the pandemic hit in full force. We were able to work with Kuiper's to reschedule, and then reschedule again since the pandemic didn't die down by our second date. When we finally had the wedding it was everything we dreamed it would be. The venue had that rustic look we were looking for and the set-up exceeded our expectations. We had our wedding indoors due to weather but it may have been better that way! The ceremony décor looked amazing and during the cocktail hour they rearranged it into the dinner and dance area. We had around 150 guests and at no point did the place seem packed nor empty.

Working with the event planner there, Nick, was such an pleasant experience. We wanted everything to be perfect for our special day and he went above and beyond what was expected of him. This included changes here and there to what they normally have for décor and beverage selection. Without being asked they even shuttled people from their cars to the venue area to keep our friends/family out of the snow!

To us Kuiper's was the perfect choice.

My husband and I got married at Kuipers on 7/17/2021, so that being said I took a long time to write this review because I really wanted to sit and reflect to be able to write something so perfect.
My husband and I are very low key people or least we like to think we are. We booked with Kuipers on 03/2019 and then covid happened. Nick Meyers kept us sane. Half of this post alone could be about how wonderful he is. When we found out that Illinois was implementing phases, we knew that the wedding we wanted wouldn't happen the way that we wanted it to. Nick immediately answer any questions and helped us pick a new date, one year from our first date. We were kept in the loop and got to enjoy the benefit that came from covid such as an outside bar.
One of reasons we picked this venue is it fits the mold of a barn wedding, yet has the safety and security of a wedding that would have been held in a reception hall i.e., air conditioning in the middle of a midwest summer. The Main reason we picked Kuipers is because you can continue to make memories at your venue well after your wedding. When we choose to have kids we can take them back year after year to the place we got married and started our lives as husband and wife. How often do you get to go back to your venue and do this?
When it comes down to the details it is simple and timeless and honestly doesn't even need much decorations, because the venue speaks for itself. It is also all inclusive, which means that we didn't have to figure out tables, chairs, linens, food (and wedding cake), center pieces, etc. They provided signs that they already had as well and have a million and one places for photos to be taken.
The staff was amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly (we even got some to dance with us by the end of the night)! We were able to make some last minute chances (2 weeks before the wedding).
Honestly I could go on and on about how perfect this venue was to us. It made our dreams come true and is a venue that will have your guest talking about for awhile!

I can't recommend Kuiper's Family Farm for your wedding venue enough. I found them through The Knot, immediately reached out because it looked so cute, and once I talked to Nick and toured the venue I couldn't say no. This place was better than I could've dreamed. Nick in particular went above and beyond, doing more than I would've expected to make our wedding day perfect. I didn't have a care in the world on the wedding day because Nick and his team took care of everything, down to our tiniest details and requests. He met with us multiple times leading up to the day, allowed us to set up and hold our rehearsal dinner at the venue the day before, provided us with tons of free decorations, tore everything down completely on the wedding night, and always responded to my emails quickly and by answering every one of my million questions! He was just so great to work with and such a joy. Not to mention the venue is absolutely GORGEOUS. Please consider Kuiper's for your wedding, you won't regret it!!!

If you have any doubts at all about booking with this venue, erase them immediately and go with it! I don't think I have enough room to write how much I loved this venue. Nick is truly one of the best people in the business. He made everything so easy and stress-free. Here were just a few of the highlight:
-He worked within our budget (HUGE!!)
- Whenever I had a question or concern, he would respond almost immediately with an answer or solution.
-He never made me feel crazy when presented with some of my out there ideas
-HE WAS AN ANGEL TO MY FAMILY--who was quite difficult at times
-He was present the whole day-whenever anyone needed him-he was there
-He allowed me to bring stuff throughout the week so we were less stressed the morning of with bringing stuff over.
-I was so nervous about not hiring a wedding coordinator, but with Nick we truly did not need one.
-He has an amazing staff that helps set up and break things down at the end of the night.

The food was PHENOMENAL-people were absolutely in love with it (get the pot roast). There was 2 fully stocked bars-one inside, one outside. The donut bar was such a huge hit. The venue was so gorgeous it brought so many tears to my eyes-truly exceeded my expectations. There was SO much to do in addition to dancing and eating-a bon fire, so many scenic places to go on walks, bags, and SO MANY AREAS to hang out. We had back up plans and backup plans to the backup plans. Truly I have not one bad thing to say!!!!! The best part about this venue is that we do apple picking here every fall, so we still have so many more memories to make in our life ahead at Kuipers. :)

If you are looking for a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue with the most flexible, kind and helpful staff ever.. then Kuipers is your venue!! Due to COVID-19, my husband and I split our wedding up. In November 2020 Kuipers let us host a 10-person ceremony and dinner with our parents and siblings so that we could still get married on our original wedding date. They also worked with us to plan a reception the following year as our Anniversary Celebration!! Both events turned out absolutely wonderful and we are forever grateful for Kuipers patience, guidance and cooperation. The aesthetic at Kuipers is simple, elegant, rustic and cozy. My husband and I, as well as our guest, had a wonderful time and enjoyed talking with the staff members throughout the night. For dinner we had pot roast, chicken, roasted carrots and Mac-n-cheese.. *chef's kiss* ... AMAZING! The donuts are always delicious and the donut sundae bar was a huge hit! I highly recommend Kuipers Family Farm as a wedding venue. They will work hard to ensure that your day is truly the best day ever!
