We are Krysta and Nick. The heart and soul of Krysta Rownd Photography.
We live in the Northwest so outdoor activities are some of our favorite things to do. During the summer you can find us both roadtripping in our motorhome, fishing, hiking, or hanging out with our dogs. During the winter you can find Nick shredding the fresh powder between the trees and Krysta cuddled up on the couch next to the wood stove.
We love weddings because it lets us into a very personal part of people's lives. Couples allow us to see the emotion and affection they have to offer each other and what's better than capturing that on film or in photographs.
We're very relaxed and want you to have the most fun on your day possible. we go with the flow and share the true moments that happen throughout your day. Your day should be about you and your fiancé and we're going to capture that in the best way possible.

Just stop what you’re doing and hire them
As someone who isn’t super comfortable in front of the camera, I needed a photographer that made me feel comfortable doing all sorts of poses and shots for hours on end. Oh, and also? My partner is the exact same way. So to find someone(s!) that could help us feel comfortable in pictures was a huge win. Krysta and Nick both are friendly, warm, and emulate the kind of love that you want to show up in your own photos. I will never forget a 20 something week pregnant Krysta sprinting across our venue to get the shot. The dedication! They love LOVE and are excited to portray the love of others and we are so lucky to have found them and hired them as our photographers. Just do it, you won’t regret it. ♥️ oh and y’all, these are our sneak peeks. The best is yet to come. 🤩🤩

A dream team of love & talent!
Beyond happy that we chose to go with Krysta and and Nick for our wedding photos. After meeting them at our friend's wedding last summer, my husband and I were fortunate enough to secure them for our own special day, and we can't sing their praises loudly enough. Like really.
Their warmth, passion, and undeniable chemistry were infectious. It's obvious that they share not only a deep love for each other but also a profound love for their work, which shows in every single shot. The colors are vivid, the compositions artistic, and the attention to detail is incredible They have an incredible eye for catching the small, heartfelt moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
We couldn't have asked for a better team to capture our special day, and we will forever be grateful for their incredible work. They're also just lovely people to be around & work with. 100/100 would recommend :)

Best photo/video duo in the PNW!
Krysta and Nick are without a doubt the best photo/video duo in the PNW! After our first conversation, I knew they were the right fit for my husband and I. They were relaxed, funny, and genuinely interested in our vision for the wedding. Plus, the photo's and video's I had seen prior to our wedding were stunning, so it was a no brainer. On our wedding day, Krysta and Nick arrived early and made me feel at ease while my pictures were being taken. Having a camera in your face all day can feel un-natural, but Krysta and Nick were pro's so we barely even noticed and actually had so much fun with it! I can't thank them enough for all of their help during our wedding day and making us feel so special. We've gotten back a few of the photo's and all we can say is WOW...we're obsessed! We can't wait to see the rest!

Down to earth with a good eye for videography
My husband and I hired Krysta's husband Nick Gibson as a videographer at our wedding. Not only was he a joy to work with on the day of but he was so accommodating and easy to communicate with before and after. Our wedding video turned out beautifully!

Krysta was incredible! She did our engagement shoot and wedding, and was incredibly down-to-earth, flexible, confident, kind, and a blast to be around. We bonded over our love of dogs and all things natural and simple. We knew we could trust her to capture our wedding day and I felt relaxed knowing she’d do an amazing job. She truly has a gift at capturing love on film! You will not regret booking Krysta. I couldn’t imagine anyone else being our photographer!!

I wish there was a rating for more than 5 stars. I simply could not ask for a better photographer than Krysta. I haven't even received all of our wedding photos back (just the preview of perfection), and I'm in absolute awe. She is hands down, the best of the best. Krysta took every picture I had asked for, blended in the crowd but still made sure she didn't miss a beat. Worth every penny, and then some!
