My husband and I are very camera shy. Through the Burrow's package which included bridal portraits and engagement photos, we got to work with Kristi and Tanner and instantly we had fun from start to finish during all of our shoots. They captured us in a way we hadn't been before and it was incredible to have photos that captured us as a couple so well. Kristi and Tanner are an amazing wife/husband team who are a pleasure to work with.

Their expertise in photography and editing is unmatched and they have a very good eye to create shots that are truly art. We developed such a trust with them, that even when one of them fell ill for our actual wedding, we fully trusted their backup and we received the same great care and quality on our wedding day! Working with Kristi and Tanner was an absolute dream come true. My wife and I are not super comfortable in front of the camera, but Kristi and Tanner made it so easy for us. It was like hanging out with good friends all day, and honestly I barely noticed the camera there. As a Queer and Fat couple, it was really important to us to work with photographers that saw who we were and could highlight the best parts of ourselves and our love on camera. They got that from our first conversation and made us feel at home with them.
On our wedding day Kristi and Tanner helped keep us on schedule and feeling cool and collected throughout the day. When other vendors got us pretty far off schedule, Kristi & Tanner were so calm and confident it helped put me at ease. They made up the time without compromising any of our photos or time together. It was really great working with such seasoned professionals.
Another thing we really looked for in our vendor search was a set of photographers and videographers who could work well together to seamlessly document our wedding day. The Burrow’s relationship to VirtuReel Productions made that so easy. It was nice working with a set of friends who made us feel like a part of the friend group for the whole wedding weekend.
Nothing felt staged or posed in unnatural ways, but I always felt like I had the right amount of direction from Kristi. Never once was I worried what to do with my hands or if my hair was out of place. She gave us the perfect amount of guidance to feel confident in front of the camera and still feel like our natural selves.
Since we’ve gotten our sneak peeks back from the wedding, I have been blown away from the photo quality. The Burrow really captured us in the most authentic and beautiful way. I never thought I would be so happy with our wedding photos.
We want to bring The Burrow back to New York for all our major life events. Working with them was a blast!
