My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the Kranichs located on Atherton St. in State College, PA. Initially my husband was wary of going to a local jeweler to purchase our wedding rings because we did not plan on staying in State College for much longer and he had good experiences with Zales in the past. However, when he was given a diamond ring passed down from my grandmother and went to Zales to find a setting he was very disappointing in the selection and their willingness to help. He then decided to check out Kranichs where he met Scott. Scott was so helpful in assisting him in finding a setting for our diamond, he even ordered samples of various settings that were not in the store so that we could see them in person. When my engagement ring was ready and the diamond was not set exactly how my fiancee had hoped Scott drove the ring to Altoona to be adjusted and had it back to my husband the very next day so that he would have it in time for the trip that he had planned on proposing to me during. My fiancé worked with Mickey to design my engagement ring and it was STUNNING. We had them also do both wedding rings and they turned out amazing and more beautiful than words can describe. Mickey was so helpful and caring about each piece along the way. We live in Chicago and did the whole process via phone, and email and would do it all over again because of the quality people!

Kranichs altered my wedding earrings to make them more my taste. They were extremely accommodating even though I did not purchase my jewelry there.

I absolutely love my rings! They were exactly what I wanted and I couldn't find them anywhere else. They were also a decent value. The thing that sold me though was the friendly, personable staff. They always remembered me when I walked in the door and were very helpful in assisting my boyfriend in picking the ring I liked "all on his own."

They were suppose to have my ring sized for when my fiancé proposed to me and they told him it was but it wasn't.
