While the Kovalchick Center is more often thought of as a concert venue or basketball arena, brides in and around Indiana, PA should definitely consider it for their wedding needs! My husband and I just got married there two weeks ago, and the experience we had was nothing short of excellent.

Throughout the planning experience, the team at the KCAC put so much thought into the details of our wedding. Once we let them know our theme, they were off and running with ideas and suggestions. Communication throughout the year of planning was consistent and reassuring, and the small details they thought of really enhanced the day! From providing a room for the wedding party to get ready in before the ceremony (off-location) to providing a wheelchair spur-of-the-moment for my grandfather, we felt very taken care of throughout the entire process. I really feel like the value we got was much greater than what we paid.

The food was absolutely phenomenal, too. We were treated to a full tasting of the meal prior to the wedding - all of the entrees, appetizers, salads, and desserts we could select from where provided for five of us at the tasting. These weren't small bites, either - they showed us the full plates as they would be presented! The chef's creativity and skill were apparent, and the entire menu was designed to be rustic and fall-themed, like the wedding. The chef even asked us what our wedding colors were, so that he could use roasted vegetables in the same colors as our wedding! We also selected to use appetizer and dessert stations, to add some flair to the wedding. These included a Himalayan salt block shrimp station, s'mores bar, and cherries jubilee station. Everyone loved them, and declared the food phenomenal! Service was also excellent throughout. There were two tables to every server, so everything was served efficiently and while it was still hot!
