Kouture Beauty Designs is an on-location hair and makeup company located in the greater Philadelphia area. Owner and master stylist/artist, Kristen Kelly, had a goal of customizing an individual look for every client, making each experience unique and memorable. In 2011, that vision became KBD. Since opening our doors, we have had the honor of ranking in the top 10 for Best Makeup in the Philadelphia area on Cityvoter.com, as well as receiving the Couple's Choice Award by Wedding Wire, Thumbtack Best of Awards for Best Hair and Makeup Artist in Philadelphia and Best On-Site Makeup Artistry on the Montco Happening List. Wonderful!

Kristen, Cassie and Morgan did the hair and makeup for myself and my three bridesmaids this past weekend, and they were completely wonderful and really listened to what we wanted. Our hair and makeup looked beautiful and stayed perfect and comfortable the whole day! Kristen, Cassie and Morgan are also kind, funny and just fun to be around, which made the morning so much nicer and less stressful. I HIGHLY recommend Kouture Beauty Designs!

Kristen was absolutely amazing to work with! She is personable, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. Kristen and her team worked efficiently to complete 8 of my bridal party's makeup in the short time frame they were given and they executed it all perfectly! During my trial, I stressed to Kristen how important it was that I felt like myself the day of the wedding. She listened to my concerns and achieved exactly what I was looking for. I never felt so beautiful and the best part was my makeup stayed perfect throughout the entire night. I would highly recommend Kouture Beauty to anyone!

I am beyond thrilled with Kristen and her team. I hired Kristen after speaking to her on thumbtack.com, and after seeing her awesome reviews. Kristen was so sweet and personable, and just a great person to work with. When I went in for my makeup/hair trial in April, I was very happy with Kristen's work, but there were some minor changes that I wanted for my wedding day to feel more like myself. On the big day, Kristen did everything to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my hair/makeup and spent so much time perfecting everything. I honestly have never felt more beautiful in my life, and I was amazed at how she was able to capture my vision so perfectly. My bridesmaids/moms were also very happy with their hair/makeup too! Thank you ladies so much for making me look stunning on my big day. I would recommend Kouture Beauty Designs to anyone!!!

A few days before my wedding I found out my stylist changed from Cassie to Kristen. Admittedly having spent time with Cassie and never having met Kristen I was very nervous! But, as soon as I saw photos of Kristens work I felt much better! Kristen and the team were prompt and I could see immediately how gorgeous my bridesmaids and mom were looking. When it came time for me, Kristen listened to exactly what I wanted and executed flawlessly! We looked at a few photos and combined the looks into my own. I was so picky with my hair and Kristen made sure it was exactly what I wanted! When we got pressed on time, she stayed longer to help out on extra make up and hair. I really appreciated your work and especially your fun personality that kept us all laughing and enjoying getting ready!

I couldn't be happier with the service from Kouture Beauty.

Finding a vendor for onsite hair and makeup was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding. But once I found Kouture Beauty it became very easy. Kristen is extremely easy to work with. She's very responsive. The prices were very competitive. The artists were all excellent, on time, and delightful company.

Now for the results. I loved my hair and makeup. Cassie took great care of me. I have very fine hair and it's not very long, but she created an updo that looked fantastic and lasted all night. We had a different makeup artist and hair stylist for the 3 bridesmaids and flower girl and they were all thrilled with their hair and makeup. None of the makeup budged even slightly. Oh, and definitely get the eye lashes.

I would highly recommend this company. You can't go wrong with any of their artists and it was, by far, the easiest company to work with.

Kristen did my makeup, my mom’s and my maid of honor’s. My mom and I did a trial with her ahead of time, which helped us decide on her for the wedding. She did a great job explaining her process and was very professional (wrote everything down that she used). She did a great job on the wedding day as well. I still looked like myself, but enhanced. I got so many compliments on my makeup throughout the night. My mom has makeup sensitivities and Kristen was very knowledgeable and worked with her. My maid of honor loved her makeup as well. I would recommend Kristen to anyone who wants very natural looking makeup, with a hint of glam. I know that a lot of people have concerns about not looking like themselves, or having makeup caked on, but that wasn’t a worry with Kristen at all. Definitely very happy with the results! ☺

Kristen did the makeup for the bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers on our wedding day. Everyone's makeup was flawless. She was very flexible and easy to work with. I highly recommend her services.

Having Kouture Beauty Designs on my sisters wedding day added to the perfect morning. They did a phenomenal job with make-up, they were very friendly receptive and professional. They came to our house and did a great job taking care of about 10 different people and were organized. I have not a single bad thing to say about the work they did for my sisters wedding, they were great!!

Kristen did my hair and makeup for a 1920s themed wedding. She was great about looking at all my photos and putting together a hair and makeup style for me based on them. She arrived at my home on time and had me ready to go!
