Our officiant(who has had many wedding cakes) said " that was THE BEST wedding cake I have ever had." and had to know where we got it. Greg was a fun guy to work with and we worked on a similar wavelength ;) We went with a Lemon Chiffon cake with lemon silky icing and Blueberry Compote filling. I could eat this cake every day for the rest of my life! I showed him pictures of what we were going for and he NAILED IT! We have broken tradition and decided that it was too good to wait a year to eat the top tier... guess we will just have to order another for our 1st anniversary! We felt his price was VERY reasonable. Let the most expensive cake of your life, also be the best tasting! Hif wife Accents by Michele was our florist and she also took part in decorating the cake. They make a great team!

Gregg did a fantastic job for our wedding desserts and we were so happy with the delicious cakes he provided for our wedding day. He was flexible with my multiple dessert ideas, including several types of cakes and cupcakes, for our reception. When we met with him, we were able to taste a few cake types before making our decisions. He worked with our budget and delivered to our venue for a small fee. We had three different types of beautiful wedding cakes, pecan pie and cupcakes at our reception and everyone loved them! His coconut cake and cupcakes were devoured by our guests. I highly, highly recommend Kookenbacker for your wedding cakes and desserts!
