Delicious and affordable!

During our early planning stages of our wedding my husband and I knew we didn't want a tradition sit down dinner that was overpriced and dry! A taco cart sounded appealing to us especially since we are LA natives and our wedding was taking place in LA. Daniel from Kon-Tiki was super responsive since day 1! My husband and I did 2 in person tastings at their restaurant to help select our menu. On the day of our wedding their team arrived on time and provided amazing service to all of our guests. We received so many great compliments from our guests on how delicious everything tasted. I'm so happy that my husband and I were able to eat almost everything they served at our wedding and that the quality and taste was the same as when we did our tastings. We highly recommend Kon-Tiki taco for any event!

Perfect for Backyard Weddings

So sooo delicious & incredibly easy to work with! We used Kon-Tiki Taco Catering for our backyard wedding in SoCal this October. They're super budget friendly and the tacos are to die for! We got compliments on them all night long. Our chef, Raymond, was very professional. He showed up on time and quietly set up on our driveway as we held our ceremony in the backyard. We had the carne asada, chicken tinga, and grilled veggies. The rice, beans, and grilled veggie tacos are all vegan making it great for wedding guests on a plant-based diet. Definitely go for a taco-tasting to decide which tacos you'll want for your event! I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Kon Tiki Tacos!

Tasty Tacos

Kon-Tiki Taco catered the dinner and appetizers for our outdoor wedding via a package we booked with Ebeling Events. We had the tostadas and quesadillas as appetizers, and also salad, rice, beans, and tacos. Everything was so tasty, well-organized, and looked really nice. We had 5-10 vegan and/or vegetarian guests at our wedding Kon-Tiki Taco’s options were a natural fit for the special dietary needs without feeling like substitutions. They tweaked a couple of details per our request to help with that and everything turned out great! Super glad that we had them at our wedding as we love eating at Lost Parrot Cafe nearby. Yum!

Overall an organized, friendly and professional experience

When we set up our tasting it was a wonderful experience or we got to see exactly what our guests would be eating and we even got to decide among various choices and try a variety of different things including the salsas which made all the flavors really stand out even more.

There was flexibility in us making changes or add-ons and we had plenty of time to update our guest count and plan accordingly with the amount of food and what types of food.

Communication was great and I even provided photos in a Layout so they could arrive and go exactly where they fit into the set up and they did a great job with providing enough carts for the man I guess we had. The staff was great!

Absolutely no clean up for us they took care of everything and not to mention after they left people were asking for more which is a compliment to their food how fresh it was and how good it taste

Delicious Kon-Tiki tacos for our tiki party!

We hired Kon-Tiki taco for our tiki-themed engagement party - how perfect is that? They delivered delicious food and excellent service, they kept the line moving and my guests happy and full! Everyone raved about the food and were so impressed that we had such a professional set up for our backyard party. I will definitely use them again, their pricing is very reasonable and scalable so would be great for a small or large event.

Great Service and Tasty Tacos!

Kon-Tiki Taco not only made everything easy on me, but their food is also delicious. I hired them for my 250 person wedding in San Luis Obispo, which was a destination for us coming from Los Angeles. They provided top notch service including early arrival, seamless set-up and take-down, and friendly servers. They were professional from start to finish, and I didn't have to worry about a thing! I was so happy with their quality of service and food that I hired them again for a Cinco de Mayo Baby Shower, and once again they provided excellent service and tasty food. I definitely recommend Kon-Tiki Taco!

Best Taco Service - size up or size down

Kon-Tiki Taco offers exceptional food and service! They cater to your every need and go above and beyond their call of duty to make every thing about your event special. I hired them for our 225 person wedding in Santa Barbara, CA and have subsequently continued to hire them for smaller family gatherings, such as birthdays! Their food is delicious, they have a great variety and their staff does a great job of cleaning up after the event. They're my go-to caterer and like family at this point!

Best Tacos in Town

We hired Kon-Tiki tacos through Huntington catering for our wedding because we wanted a less formal more social vibe for our reception. The tacos are better than your average joe tacos because they infuse island flavors and have fun salsa options and add ons. Using kon-tiki tacos is a great option for buffet style dinner that won’t break the bank!
