Where do I even begin?!

KLM Photography is not only very affordable, but so much fun! You can tell that they love what they do and want nothing more than to make your day extremely special!

Our wedding was in the beginning of January, freezing cold to say the least, but they never complained and in fact were more lively than ever! Made me feel warm and ready to say CHEESE at every turn! Our pictures PROVE how worth it it was to be outside in the cold!

Karissa and Stan both have such wonderful personalities, and an artistic eye I can honestly say I haven't seen in any other photographers! Each picture is unique and different from others which makes them all the more special.

I can't WAIT to print my pictures and hang them EVERYWHERE they truly captured every detail of our wedding day! I can't THANK THEM enough!

Photography was one of our top priorities for our wedding because it is the one thing that you have afterwards and lasts forever. I had been looking for months because I could not find anyone who fit what we were looking for- style and price-wise. Any photographers that I thought were even "good" were entirely out of our price range. I spent hours upon hours looking and I just ended up more and more frustrated. Then came KLM.

When I saw their website, I was exclaiming to my now husband, over and over again "LOOK AT THIS!! They are AMAZING!", each time a picture blew me away- which happened many times!

So of course we booked KLM and were ecstatic. We did our engagement photos in November and were of course blown away. We got so many compliments on them and knew from then on we would have KLM do all of our pictures, from wedding to maternity to family shots.

Our wedding day finally came in August and I can't say enough about how awesome Karissa and Stan were to work with. They listened to everything that was important to us and made it happen. Our pictures our STUNNING. I feel like you can look at our pictures and experience our day through them. The feeling, the details, the talent- everything that went into them is amazing. There clearly aren't words to explain them, so you are welcome to view them if you wish.

We were happy with all of our vendors, but KLM is BY FAR the best vendor we had out of any of them. Thank you Karissa and Stan for not only making our wedding day even better but for giving us the most beautiful memories to look back on that we ever could have asked for. There is nobody we would have rather had do our pictures. You were such a blessing to us and we are so thankful and grateful to you both.

Their style is photojournalistic, capturing real moments in beautiful images. From start to finish my experience was terrific. Karissa promptly answered every email with detailed answers and made herself available over the phone for anything I wanted to discuss.

We did an engagement shoot about 6 months before our wedding to make sure their style fit our needs, and we were blown away by the beautiful shots they captured. Prior to the wedding we met to go through all the group shots I was looking for so that on wedding day I could relax while they called together each group. They were on time, organized, professional, and easy to work with. Our wedding photos are truely amazing (as we've been told by many friends and family), and we will cherish them for years to come.

Best of all, I paid about half of what many of my friends paid for their wedding photographers. The value for the product is unbeatable. Thanks KLM!

I was really happy to find Karissa and Stan. Another photographer I had contacted referred me to them. Searching for a photographer was honestly a rather unhappy experience until I found them. I must have contacted 20 different photographers about their pricing and services and I kept running into the kind of people who treated weddings like hostages. I even saw two photographers who said their packages included a cd of your photos one year after your wedding. A year?? And if you wanted the photos sooner you had to pay them an extra $700. I felt like all they saw in me was an atm, and not a person who was excited about getting married.

So enter Karissa and Stan: Finally I found photographers who acted like real people, who were flexible and friendly. I wasn't interested in print packages or books or any of that, I just wanted to have 2 photographers for most of the day, and get copies of all the original digital pictures to print as I pleased later on. Of course, I wanted the photos to be beautiful too, and I didn't want to spend half my wedding budget on it either. KLM totally fit the bill.

They have a blog where you can see their work, and Karissa showed me a couple of online galleries for other weddings she had shot. I told her all about my plans and she was very excited. I live 3,000 miles away from where my wedding took place too, so I didn't even meet her until the wedding day, but she was very responsive with emails and really nice on the phone so I wasn't worried.

When they arrived on the day of the wedding, Karissa stayed with me and started taking photos of us getting ready. She was very unobtrusive, so I was able to go about what I was doing without thinking about the photos. When we got to formals we had a ridiculously long list of combinations to shoot. Seriously, everyone wanted in on our photos. I wasn't looking forward to it, especially since my smile looks fake if I hold it too long. Karissa helped keep the smiles up by giggling behind the camera, and Stan sped things along by organizing all the people. We did all our formal group photos indoors because the wind outside was blowing really hard, but in hindsight I wish we'd done them outside. So when your day comes, do your photos outside, if you have any doubts.

It was nice being able to enjoy my wedding day without worrying about the pictures. They were really important to me, and I'm usually the one behind the camera. Now we've gotten our photos back from KLM and they're beautiful. I like the ones outdoors best, because of the light and the scenery and because they weren't posed like the group photos were. I also love the candid ones of my husband and I during the reception. Karissa touched up quite a few of them, and now I can start putting together photo books for christmas gifts! Yay!

Would I work with them again? Absolutely!

We were very pleased with the services provided by KLM Photography! Karissa and Stan were very professional, and it was a great value to have two photographers available all day. This allowed for all the special moments to be caught throughout the day. They are very easy-going, and really some of the nicest people. Stan is excellent at wrangling large groups of people, and Karissa captures beautiful moments. Our indoor shots were pretty, but Karissa and Stan's style truly shine when you get outside and they can play with the sunlight. We'd certainly suggest that family and friends use their services!
