Your love story doesn't begin on your wedding day, so neither do we! We want to hear how you met, where you fell in love and when you knew you would be together forever.

We come to the wedding filmmaking world with unique backgrounds. I, Kaila, graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Filmmaking and Jay is very familiar with being in front, and behind a camera. He's a singer-songwriter/cinematographer and we met when I was hired to film a music video for him. For the most part we are documentary style shooters. We don't try to set up shots in the middle of romantic moments. Instead we find the most creative way to film it with as little involvement as possible. We will do some posing when we need to, like during sunset when we're just filming with the two of you. We've been called ninjas a number of times. Jay's pretty sure that's why I've started wearing an all black jumpsuit to weddings. I'm not saying his wrong…

It's not unusual for me to text almost daily with my brides. I'm working on my exclamation point usage, they say the first step is admitting you have a problem. Some people really want to share in the planning experience with us and I LOVE that! Others don't and that's totally fine, too. Many of our clients become our good friends and that's a really special part of this adventure we get to call "a job".

I take the lead with the ladies on your wedding day while Jay hangs out with the men. We like to have around 20 minutes with you during portraits to film just for video. This is where a lot of my favorite moments happen! Jay tends to take over during the reception - dancing footage is his thing, plus he's like 7′ tall so he has an advantage. I stay more in the background capturing the moments you'll laugh at later!

We put our whole heart into our work and in to our clients. We love every second of this life.
