You are engaged, congratulations!! Now, let's begin the process of planning your dream wedding. Whether you are working with a planner or not, I know that the planning process can be overwhelming at times and I strive to make the entire experience with me as easy and fun & stress-free as possible.
My most popular wedding packages, therefore, come with a complimentary engagement session -- so that we can get to know one another and learn what kind of poses/candids you like before the big day. I will also help you create a photo timeline of the day so that we can figure out how many hours of coverage you need and when it is best for me to arrive on your wedding day.
With 17 years of professional wedding photography experience, I have seen it all and will guide through the entire experience, starting with the wedding planning, through the wedding day and until you are holding a gorgeous heirloom album in your hands.
I, Caroline Klaar, graduated from The New England Institute of Art with a Bachelor of Science degree in photography in Brookline, MA and now photograph weddings and portraits full time at both national and international settings. I was born and raised in Sweden and I like to think I bring an elevated european flare to my photos for a luxurious, timeless feel you will love years from now as much as you will today.

If you’re looking for a photographer who takes incredible photos and instantly feels like family, Caroline is truly the one. My husband and I first met her when she photographed my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding, and we were blown away—not only by how seamlessly she worked on the day, but by how beautiful the photos turned out. From the very beginning, Caroline made us feel completely at ease. We hired Caroline for our 9/12/25 wedding and couldn't recommend her more! Right from the first phone consultation, I knew she'd be incredible to work with. Made our wedding day come to life!
Caroline captured our wedding day perfectly and we couldn't be happier! She was amazing to work with from the start. We used her for our engagement shoot and instantly fell in love with her and her work. Caroline made us feel so comfortable in front of a camera. She let our natural connection as a couple shine in her photos and we never felt over posed. She kept things simple, easy, and positive yet somehow managed to get some of the most stunning photos I've ever seen. Caroline was fantastic and easy to work from beginning to end! Our dogs are our everything and we wanted them incorporated in both the engagement shoot and our wedding. She worked so well with our wedding dog caretaker and made sure we got enough pictures with the pups during our wedding day and during our engagement shoot.
She provided a sneak peek of our wedding pictures on instagram the very next day (less than 12 hours!!). We were stoked. She had a great second shooter on the day of as well, who was type A just like me so it was a perfect fit.
Her enthusiasm and attention to detail were so important and appreciated on our wedding day. I like to hold my husband’s pinky finger sometimes and she noticed and made sure to capture that moment. It’s the little things that she notices, we loved it!
We last minute decided that we wanted our tea ceremony photographed and she was able to pull that together very quickly and sent out a questionnaire to ensure the important moments were captured.
I honestly cannot recommend Caroline enough, we will keep her in mind for all future photography needs!!

We loved working with Caroline for our wedding and engagement photos. Caroline made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured our day perfectly. She was also awesome to work with during our wedding planning process helping us with our timeline and making sure all of the moments we wanted were captured. Highly Recommend!
Caroline was the most amazing photographer!! She was with us from our welcome party all the way to the after party and she so beautifully captured every moment. She took so many special photos of us along with our family, details, guests and more. She was so sweet and kind. Everyone loved her! I also loved how I didn’t even notice her taking pictures during the ceremony or reception, which let her take so many amazing candids. I am more than happy with our album and am so happy that I had Caroline there to capture everything.

Dreamy photographer and dreamy photos!
Our wedding vow renewal was nothing short of amazing! Caroline is such a calming presence and made us so comfortable!! Her communication is incredible and her personality is everything!! An artist and a joy to work with!
Caroline and her partner were absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. I knew Caroline would be amazing by her existing work and the way she communicated leading up to our wedding day. Caroline works incredibly hard to manage her business while being kind and responsive and organized with each of her clients. On the day of our wedding, everything was such a blur but Caroline was calm and worked her magic while making it look easy (which it isn’t!) Caroline’s photos are artistic, perceptive, and completely unique. We asked for wedding photos not necessarily just of us (bride and groom), but of our guests and loved ones too. Our wedding album has priceless photos of every single person who is important to us, at blink-of-an-eye moments that are now frozen in time, and that is a gift we will have forever.

Wonderful to work with and gorgeous photos
Caroline was an absolute delight to work with. My husband and I get so nervous about being photographed because we don't really know how to pose for photos. She made sure we were laughing the whole time and somehow in between the giggles she captured so many beautiful, natural photos of us and our loved ones, including some INCREDIBLE party shots. In addition to that, she went above and beyond asa source of calm and support throughout a pretty chaotic wedding day. Caroline and her second photographer, Erin, were such a source of joy for us, and we're obsessed with the photos they took. We will be recommending them to everyone we know!
