The Event Center is a wedding venue with two convenient locations in San Antonio and University City, Texas. These beautiful facilities, owned by the Get Up Community Center, offers couples a blank canvas to create the wedding they have always imagined. The dedicated staff at The Event Center will be on hand throughout your special day, assisting you and your guests with all of your wants and needs in an effort to make your wedding a seamless and exciting event from beginning to end.

Facilities and Capacity
The Event Center can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests in its indoor and outdoor event spaces. Each event facility offers plenty of flexible, open space, which is perfect for both intimate and grand wedding events. One of the venues at The Event Center features a stage, which is the perfect area for setting up your sweetheart table, a large dance floor, or a bar area where your food and beverages may be served on your special day. For smaller gatherings, The Event Center’s upstairs room is the ideal space to utilize. Couples have the ability to decorate the event facilities any way they would like. The Event Center does not provide tables or chairs, but will provide flatware, glassware and linens.

Services Offered
The Event Center’s two facilities are available for hosting bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, wedding ceremonies, receptions and elopements. Couples planning their nuptials may bring in any wedding vendor of their choice — event planner or coordinator, florist, photographer, caterer, bartender, videographer, cake maker, DJ or band — to assist them throughout their special day while using The Event Center’s facilities. Staff at The Event Center will take care of setup and cleanup before, during and after your wedding. The Event Center provides wireless Internet for the events they host on their property. Parking is available for each couple and their guests at each event facility.
