Reviews of King's Jewelry

King's in the Pittsburgh Mills Mall is great. The manager, Sandy, is fantastic and friendly and very easy to deal with. She took the time to show us everything we wanted when looking into engagement rings and ended up taking a diamond from a pair of earrings because it was slightly better than the one that was already in the display ring. We went back to get wedding rings and she found one that matched the engagement ring setting. When I wanted the rhodium redone before the ceremony it was done the next day. I had a loose stone once and they fixed it on the spot. Definitely get the TLC plan just to put your mind at ease so you won't ever have to worry about it and you can have it shined up any time you want for free.

My engagement ring was purchased from King's in the Pittsburgh Mills Mall, and we went back there to get the bands for the wedding. If you're planning on getting white gold, DEFINITELY get the extra protection on your purchase. White gold has a rhodium plating over it which does wear off. The extra coverage, however, will have them replate it for you for no extra charge. They have always been super nice to us there and let you know when your jewelry is in right away. I would recommend them, especially at the Pittsburgh Mills location.

the only problem i seem to have with my ring is the stone keeps comming loose... thank goodness we have the protection plan that covers loss of a stone. I have had it for a year and a half and had to take it in 3 times to have the stone set.

Husband got my wedding and engagement ring back in 2004 and got married 2006. 2013 My engagement ring band broke so I went back to Kings Jewerly to get it repaired. Instead they talked me into trading my ring in for a new one and a bigger diamond, which of course I was happy with ;') So they gave me 850.00 for my ring and I paid an additional 800.00 plus 189.99 for a 1/2 shank since the ring in the case did not fit. Well I went from a gold to white gold and have had problems since. I had to wait 3 weeks for them to do the shank on my ring, 2 weeks after I received it a black spot appeared, then the ring was out for 2 more weeks then i reveiced it back and a week later the black spot appeared once again. They never even apologized for the issue, and when I told them I was very unsatifisied they didn't even care. They told me since I had to get my ring sized they couldn't help me out!!! So if you are too skinny or heavy and need your ring sized up or down then they won't give you a refund back!!! I even told them I don't want a refund I just a replacement and they said they couldn't even do that!!!

I had the displeasure of dealing with the manager at the Washington, PA Kings site. She is horribly unprofessional and rude. I found a bridal set that my girlfriend and I had considered during one of the display events and made several attempts to order the ring only to be dismissed on the phone when I attempted to ask for further details. Thinking I would give the benefit of a doubt, I made an appointment at 7:30 pm and went in personally to place an order. I waited nearly an hourly as the manager (Tracy I believe is her name) chatted about her home with a friend until I politely mentioned I could come back in 15 minutes. Tracy angrily yelled "sweetie ... I'm not going to kick her out." I never mentioned anything about being impatient or requesting her to hurry up and she says a comment like this in front of this person I thought was a customer. I responded by saying "please do not call me sweetie and do not imply I want you to kick out another customer, I just wanted to say I would wait." She answered by saying "this isn't a customer, she's a friend of mine and I have an appointment at 8:00." I told her I had an appointment at 7:30 but she responded by telling me I can give my information to the other clerk and went back to talking about her house and personal things to her friend. When the other store clerk was taking my information, the manager continually would speak over him and angrily would call me sir in a condescending tone. At that point I realized I did not need to interact with a person that has no concept of customer service. Luckily or unluckily, I never bought the ring and now am looking elsewhere because of her rude and unprofessional behavior. Do not shop at King's.

We are still having problems with our rings that we purchased from King's. The location we purchased from was in Cranberry Township, PA: http://www.kingsjewelry.com/locations_30.shtml First, they sold my engagement ring and a wrap to go with it, to my fiance. So when I went to have them soldered together (2 months before the wedding) they soldered them and they looked awful together. You could still see the metal that the solitare is supposed to sit on. The worst part is, they gave it back to me like that - as if nothing was wrong. I took it to another jeweler in the area (in business for 30+ years) and he was appalled that they gave it back to me like that. So, to make a long story short - they sold my fiance a wrap for a princess-cut solitare...and no one makes wraps for a princess-cut solitare. So they knew they were selling him the wrong ring in the first place. But since the 30 days was up, they told us we couldn't return the ring...even though it was due to their mistake! So we ended up going back and exchanging it for a new setting. I wasn't happy about taking my diamond out of the ring my fiance proposed to me with but it had to be done. And now, three and a half months later, I'm having problems with my (white gold) band turning yellow! I wouldn't even purchase earrings from this place. Please, save yourselves some irritation! Go to PAS Jewelers in Cranberry Township if that's where you live OR go to Littman Jewelers in the mall.

I purchased an engagement ring and wedding band for my wife. Several months later she noticed a burr on the diamond, apparently a flaw on the stone chipped off. No one in the store could make a decision, and the customer service manager refused to talk with us. The manager of the Monroeville store insulted my wife. The salesman, Paul, seemed like a good person working for a bad company. I accept my loss but hope that no one else buys from Kings.
