I highly recommend Kima's Konfections, we used her for our daughter's bridal shower cake and the Grooms Cake at the wedding. She did a fantastic job on both cakes. The Groom's cake was a rich dark chocolate, very moist and by far the best. We chose the electric guitar with amp and it was beautiful and full of detail. We received so many compliments.
Kima is a very talented artist and I just loved her professionalism and eagerness to please.

we ordered a cake for a birthday with extremely short notice and the cake was beautiful and delicious! I highly recommend Kima's Konfections!

Hakima is a great person to work with! There may have been a mix up with our order when she delivered it, but we aren't complaining since it resulted in us getting two cakes for the price of one that day. In addition, do to the mix up, she is giving us a free sweetheart cake of our order from the wedding on our 1 year anniversary! She also has flavors that many of the big cake companies don't make - so you get to have some excellent experiences with unique flavors that are definitely delicious!

First let me start my review by saying I give it 2 stars because Hakima does great work with her cake decorating. Unfortunately I didn't get what I paid for or what she showcases on her social media.

Hakima was supposed to create a beautiful cake for my wedding and what I received look like a 3/4 done children's birthday cake. She didn't give it any attention as far as decoration details and the fondant was misshapen on one side. While I didn't expect to get a cake exactly like the inspiration photo I gave her, I at least expected it to be close. No effort was done to make it special. And her only acknowledgement was that the color was off, which it was. I was never contacted to get my vision for my wedding cake or the pretzels and cupcakes she did as well. This was my wedding and this was one of the two things we "splurged" on and wanted it to be a focal point. Her husband, who delivered the cake, was over an hour late. He had from 11am-2pm to deliver and he didn't get there until about 3:30pm or so.

What really upset me was her attitude toward the whole thing. She wasn't apologetic. She seemed more interested in making sure I knew that all her customers love her cakes and that she should have charged me more. In fact her apology was, "Sorry you didn't like the taste of my cake. Taste is subjective so I'll leave it at that." She did refund me some money for the cake, even though there were other things wrong with my whole order. I do wish her much success in her business.

Eta: When I voiced my concerns about my order, she blocked me from her Facebook page.

I ordered a birthday cake, candy apples and cupcakes for my mother in-laws 50th birthday party. Miss Hakima Lamour required a $50.00 deposit on my $258.00 order. She sent me a paypal invoice and I satisfied that payment. In the meanwhile she and I have communicated only through email. I received notices from paypal requesting the balance. I reached out to Hakima via email to confirm if she required the full payment before I could receive my order and she only stated that paypal automatically sends out reminders and that payment is due prior to delivery. Well the morning of my event at about 6am Miss Hakima cancelled my order and refused to answer any of my phone calls or request to call me. I also emailed her numerous times and she responded once only to let me know that she cancelled because I didn't pay in full. Although I sent her an email stating that I would be making payment in a few hours and I needed her to re-send the invoice. So on the date of my event I had no cake!!!! It was a nightmare!!! She was not apologetic and then had the nerve to lie and say she told me she asked for the payment in full the day before the event. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HER AGAIN I ADVISE ALL TO BEWARE!! As of the date I still haven't received an apology or my money back. I paid her a deposit in good faith expecting her to deliver my order and she screwed me.
