Kelly was amazing to work with from start to finish. My then fiancée (now wife) and I met with her over Facetime to discuss our ideas and wants for our wedding day photos. We both immediately felt comfortable with her and felt like we were talking to an old friend. She’s got an old soul energy and has a gift with deeply connecting to others. Needless to say, she did a stellar job at capturing the bond between my now wife and I on our special day. She was so innovative in her ideas for where to place us for our single, couple, and family photoshoots. There are not enough stars or thank you's for Kelly Balch. Kelly came to NC to shoot our outdoor December wedding. She not only was fun, courteous, and professional, she went above and beyond what you may expect a photographer to do. From shoveling ice off the deck for the first look with my dad, to helping me with last minute "adjustments" before walking down the isle, Kelly was amazing. She found a wonderful local second shooter, scouted some really cool photo ops in the nature surrounding the ceremony, and made everyone at the entire wedding feel comfortable. It was like having your best friend there except she's super professional and gives you direction on how to look cute while also capturing all those little in between smiles and moments that are more candid. The edited photos are STUNNING, and it's not just our good looks ;) She knows what she's doing. And she KILLS at it. Seriously, look no further. Kelly Balch photography is really your only option.

Kelly is nothing short of an amazing photographer and amazing person! I've had the pleasure of working with her during several weddings(I'm a makeup artist) and just last weekend she photographed my own wedding. It was PERFECT!
