We had to cancel our wedding in Islamorada in May due to Covid, and Sheri from Kelilina Photography was incredibly understanding. She understood the magnitude of the situation and gave us our deposit refund immediately. We didn’t have the same experience with some of our other vendors, but she is a good person and knew how disappointed we were. We changed plans for our marriage ceremony, but really wanted some family photos, so we reached out to her. She took the most beautiful photos of our family. She really listened to what we wanted while also incorporating her own unique vision. We couldn’t have been happier with the results! If you want the best go with Kelilina Photography! Sheri and Phil did an amazing job capturing pictures and video of the moment I proposed in my hometown, also in Hawaii getting engagement photos. Taking pictures can be awkward sometimes but with Sheri it was far from that, she had absolutely no problem finding the perfect spots and even when we weren't taking pictures we couldn't stop smiling! Even when my wife's strap broke on her dress Sheri was right there to help fix it. She is such a fun outgoing person and obviously loves what she does. My husband and I celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary last month. It couldn’t be any better to celebrate such a milestone by renewing our vows in Kona. I’ve always dreamed of having a Hawian ceremony and I couldn’t be any happier that I went with Kelilina Photography. On the day of our wedding vow renewal we met Hannah. Hannah was such a nice person and easy to work with. Not only did she capture the special moments of our ceremony, but got the best of our expressions. Hannah was supper friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the photo shoot. I’m overjoyed to see the end result of my photos. It turned out way more than I could’ve image. First off, let me say that I love looking at photographs... I find myself paging through albums fairly often (considering its 2019 and nearly everything is digital these days), so I knew that I wasn't going to be an easy judge of our wedding photos. My husband loves photography as well, so choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions when it came to planning our destination wedding in Hawaii. After looking through the websites and galleries of all of the preferred vendors that the Royal Kona provided us, we were confident that Kelilina Photography was going to be a great fit for us. When I met Dawn a few minutes before I walked down the aisle, I knew instantly that we had made the right choice! She completely followed our lead and we had a great time hanging out with her (while she captured some amazing moments that we'll remember for the rest of our lives). We couldn't have asked for a better photographer than Dawn! Every piece of the process was seamless with Kelilina was seamless and I couldn't recommend anyone more strongly! I got married last month to the man of my dreams at the most beautiful location I could dream of, on the beach in Kona Hawaii. Sarah, from Kelilina Photography was absolutely AMAZING! I am not exaggerating one bit. My husband and I aren’t the best in front of the camera. We are what some may say camera shy. Sarah broke us out of that shell and captured some miraculous photos capturing the beauty of Hawaii and the love my husband and I have for each other. She even got a few photos of my husband with this look that he is giving me, and I cry because it’s a look I’ve never seen him give to me before. It’s a look that shows how much he truly loves me. I would 100% recommend for others to chose Kelilina Photography to capture special moments and don’t forget to ask for Sarah she’s incredible! You wont be disappointed!

I tried to convince my fiancé that we didn’t need anything fancy in terms of photography- why not just let our guests take pictures on their phones? I’m so glad he disagreed- the photos we got back from Sheri and her team are nothing short of stunning. On top of that, they were a pleasure to have at the wedding- so many of my guests mentioned how friendly and professional they were, and they went out of their way to get the kind of candid, quirky shots you dream about. Where do I even begin with Sheri & Phil (and Lisa) ?! My husband and I are photographers ourselves...so when it came to finding a photographer/videographer for us, I was really picky. I was also looking for someone who does a lot of outside/beach work since our ceremony was outside. Their photos and videos caught my attention and was one of the first vendors we contacted. I had contacted a few different photographers, some just only messaged me back and some we messaged and spoke with via phone..they were one of them. Sheri was wonderful with responding with messages and then of course wanted to chat over the phone. She offered to meet in person but we are on the other coast of FL so phone was just easier.
Within maybe 5-10 minutes on the phone with Sheri I looked at John and we both nodded our head yes! I could tell she was taking notes during the phone convo even had suggestions for things we were telling her we wanted. She kept in contact with me leading up to our big day. Literally the second they walked into the room they were shooting/recording. They were so easy going, fun to work with and easy to joke with! Some shots we got I didn't even know they were getting!! I watch my video pretty much every day (haha) and my photos- I CAN'T GET ENOUGH. We have had so many compliments on everything. Cannot thank them enough. I don't even think it was 24 hours and they had a sneak peak posted of this sparkler shot I wanted and Lisa NAILED it. Thank you guys so much again! :-)
