Let me start off by saying that every time we think back to our wedding, we can't help but feel hearts full of gratitude that we hired Kelci - hiring her was the best and most valued decision we made about the wedding itself. Really, she is the best, and you will be a lucky couple if you're able to book her to photograph your wedding! You will be getting much more than a photographer - you'll be getting a rockstar.

Kelci was responsive from the very beginning, continued to be throughout the planning process, and has been since the wedding. She is very professional and organized, and at the same time very down-to-earth, sweet, and so cool - she is confident and knows what she is doing, and this assured us every step of the way. And her photos and editing are GORGEOUS - we are so happy with them!

Also, she is magic - the day of the wedding, she was invisible while snapping candids (going with the flow, and not forcing any posed shots or recreation of authentic moments), but if one of us ever wanted or needed her, she was always within eye-shot. She was our rock throughout the planning process and the entire day-of! She helped us organize our timeline (we were doing a DIY backyard wedding), arrived to town early enough to get acquainted with the area and our loved ones, drove me to the ceremony, eased a tense moment between family, brought snacks! (when we went to do couple-photos between the ceremony and reception), gave excellent direction for family photos, and gently kept us all on a timeline (subtly, she was never pushy). Her attitude and presence brought direction and calm to both of us and to our families, and frankly, we credit her with making it all go so smoothly and beautifully. Even our family and wedding party commented on how amazing and cool she was.

We adore Kelci and a human and we adore her work, and we would absolutely hire her again for any other important event our family has. If you were to ask us, we would highly recommend you do yourself a huge favor, and hire Kelci!

Omg, what can I say?! Kelci is everything you want in a wedding photographer. She is responsive and professional, yet so fun and cool. Exactly the kind of person you want around you on your wedding day. She made it easy to be ourselves, to sit in all the real, raw emotion of the day, to cry, laugh, etc. She had little prompts to help elicit laughs and smiles, so we didn't have to force weird smiles all day. And again, she was just very fun to be around and I know all my friends enjoyed being around her all day. She also checked in throughout the day just to make sure I felt okay and didn't need anything, which was so comforting. I was sad our time together came and went so quickly!

She had amazing ideas for where the special pictures should happen, and understood the "vibe" of our venue and how to lean into it. She was also very thoughtful about time and light, and making sure we got great sunset photos. She was also very mindful when taking photos of the more intimate moments-- she knew how to be there without being intrusive in any way.

We got a sneak peak of the photos a few days later, and holy sh*t. Her photos are stunning. She really captures the raw emotion and those special, candid moments. There are a few photos where both my husband and I have these smirks on our faces that are just so US. I love that that is the case, rather than us looking like stuffy, posed versions of themselves. And the post-production/editing is just so good. Not too much, just enough. Enhances the real and natural beauty of the day without looking like a "filter" in any way.

Kelci was a hands down, the best wedding photographer. Her style of photography was just what we wanted--candid, natural, and not cheesy. We loved how our photos turned out. Personality wise, she was super organized and very helpful in organizing the timing of events at our wedding, reminding us of what was coming next. We also loved that she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time, like a little fairy. She was always there at the right moment, but not in people's way or interrupting conversations as other wedding photographers may do. Her chill mood and pace of taking photos really matched well with ours. She even took my used tissue and put it in her fanny pack when I had no place to put it following our ceremony. We highly recommend hiring Kelci for her photography services--you won't regret it!

Kelci is a very special person. Not only is she talented beyond belief, but she has an ability to make you comfortable in front of a camera, even if totally camera shy. A photoshoot with Kelci is less of a chore, and more of an adventure - a fun, intimate experience with your significant other. We left our engagement photoshoot feeling fresh and in love again, as if we had left something like a therapy session haha. She is less concerned with making you look like a fake barbie, and more concerned with capturing authentic, beautiful moments. Throughout the entire planning process, she was calm, cool, collected, and immediately put us at ease. We have two friends that used Kelci for their weddings, and they said the exact same thing. Kelci also took our engagement pictures - which my camera-shy husband was not looking forward to. Somehow, some way, she made the two and a half hours fly by and an absolute BLAST. On the wedding day, she made our first look and first pictures SO much fun, and I felt like that was the first time all day I could relax and take everything in. Throughout the rest of the night, neither my husband nor I even noticed Kelci or her assistant busy at work. But yet, she captured our guests and the entire night perfectly.

Stop looking for a photographer right now- Kelci should be your choice! We hired her for our wedding in DC this past April and she worked some serious magic. We got our photos back recently and just couldn't stop looking at all the beautiful pics, which transported us back to that incredible day. Not only does she take amazing photos, she's just such a cool person and makes you feel as normal as you can when being photographed. She was a whiz at organizing family photos and we had quite a few people to organize- she got everyone in perfect order and kept us ahead of our timeline! My bridesmaids loved her as well and couldn't get over how fun she was to have around. Kelci also had an awesome second shooter, Jen, who my husband and his groomsmen loved!
