Doug at S. Kaufman Jewelers made my engagement ring (my fiance helped design it!) and is making our wedding bands. Kaufman S Jewelers is a family-owned business. Their store is located on E. Ohio Street on the Northside of Pittsburgh. The store doesn't have the sophistication of someplace like Jared, but it also doesn't have the rip-off prices, either! Doug is a certified gemologist and has been in the business for years. He is friendly and knowlegable, and can make ANYTHING you want! (I've heard that he designed the Dolphins' Superbowl ring!) His custom work is phenomenal!!! We went to Doug after half a dozen recommendations from various friends. His talent in unbelievable and the quality unmatched - especially for the prices we paid! I have had SO many compliments on my rings already. Doug uses NO advertising, and I was so pleased, I asked for his business cards to pass out!

Really great deal on our wedding bands. He actually DESIGNED my wife's engagement ring, and then we went back to him to make a matching wedding band for her. After the wedding, we went back to him and he joined them together, forming one band.
