I could not recommend Katie more highly! From the moment we first met with her we knew she was the one. She genuinely cares about her clients and their weddings. Even though she lives on the other side of the country now we always think of her first. She even did our maternity shoot 4.5 years later!

Katie was the second photographer for our wedding in New Jersey. Although I did not work with her prior to the wedding because I went through our hired photographer (second shooter included in package), I feel so grateful that she was with us that day. She is so talented, knowing the right lighting and different angles to make beautiful pictures. As a plus, she is so sweet and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. Thank you Katie!! When my husband and I first met Katie we knew we had lucked out. She is truly a gem. Katie took the time to get to know us and by our wedding day we felt like we were being photographed by an old friend. With all of that said, she is extraordinarily professional! I know nothing about photography so it's hard to describe her style without just saying "absolutely beautiful, amazing and natural". All of our friends and family who have seen her photos of us have been blown away by her work. During our wedding she worked so efficiently through our family formals and bridal party pics, which were no easy tasks (we had a 22-person bridal party!). She (and her awesome assistants!) held back tree branches in woodsy settings, helped me through several bug-induced panic attacks, transported my dress and sentimental items, asked if I needed anything throughout the reception, kept us on time, etc. The list could go on forever. Bottom line is that hiring Katie was one of our best wedding decisions. HIGHLY recommend to any type of bride!

There are so many wonderful things to say! I don't know where to begin. We met Katie for coffee and already she was bubbly, enthusiastic, kind, thoughtful, patient, fun -- and we hadn't even booked her yet! Thank goodness we did. She was incredibly responsive over email and set up a date for our engagement session very quickly. She met us at our house in Baltimore and just walked our neighborhood with us, taking pictures and chatting like we'd been friends forever. I won't be able to do Katie's enthusiasm any justice here, but I'm not exaggerating when I say she ooh's and aah's and giggles and chirps and jumps and exclaims at almost every frame. I am also not exaggerating when I say it feels totally and completely genuine - Katie is very present, and she is inspired by so many little wonderful details that you might never have noticed. After we received our (AMAZING) engagement photos, Katie was more like an excellent pen-pal than just another vendor. She was genuinely interested in the planning and details of our wedding, and it truly put us at ease. She even moved across the country before our wedding, and it never for a second concerned us. We felt so comfortable with Katie and so trusted her that we knew she'd be ready to go, full of life, and taking amazing pictures. It's tough to overstate Katie's enthusiasm on our wedding day. It was an incredible joy to be photographed by her. Throughout, Katie was patient, thoughtful, engaged, fun. She communicates very precisely but doesn't yell orders; she followed my intricate shot list but left room to improvise. Katie makes you feel like you're the most exciting, beautiful, interesting people she's ever met, and her joy is contagious. I haven't even said anything about the actual photos yet - of course they're wonderful. Her film is romantic and dreamy, bright and soft. We've only seen a handful of images, but they're everything we could have hoped for. Katie is a treasure and we are so lucky to have worked with her.

Katie could not have been a better photographer for us! From our first consultation to the end of our wedding day, Katie captured everything we could have dreamed of. Katie has an incredible personality that makes it hard to be stressed or not have a smile on your face when you are around her. She knows exactly how to make you look good in pictures while remaining comfortable and loose. We included our dog in our engagement pictures and Katie was totally on board for the session and was able to capture some great shots with our pup. Her style brings out the true light and emotion of the shoot. She utilizes both film and digital cameras for a varied look that makes the pictures look incredible! Katie was even willing to provide input for engagement photo outfits and bridesmaids dresses based on her artistic eye. She was a great help with finding other vendors as well! We will always have a special place for Katie and recommend her to anyone we know!

We had such a wonderful experience with Katie as our wedding photographer! My husband and I were a little nervous to be in front of the camera, but she created a fun and relaxed atmosphere that put us at ease. Katie made wrangling our very large wedding party appear effortless. Katie and I met by coincidence when I asked her to spontaneously shoot a friend's surprise proposal and an instant friendship formed from there! She was the first person I emailed after getting proposed to, wanting to make sure to lock her in for our wedding date. She was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding - always available to answer questions I had, give advice, and honestly became a friend throughout our planning process.

We were really nervous for our engagement shoot, but she calmed our nerves and we ended up having a blast. I would highly recommend having this shoot in your package as it's great practice for your actual wedding for both you as a couple and for Katie to learn your style and personalities. We LOVE these photos and ended up making them into a photo book for guests to sign as our guest book at the wedding.

And of course then there are our cherished wedding photos. Katie not only shot digital prints but also shot in film, which gave a whole other look and side of our wedding through pictures. We could not be happier with the outcome of our photos and cannot wait to work with her in creating our album! It completely poured on our wedding day, yet somehow Katie and her incredible team managed to capture every shot we hoped to get (also make sure to get 2 photographers in your package).

I would recommend Katie to anyone looking for a patient and caring photographer who is incredibly talented in bringing memories to life through film.
