She helped her cousin plan her wedding in just three weeks and realized that she loved helping to organize the ceremony. She’s the best!!

Kathryn is the perfect wedding planner. We initially were unsure whether to hire a planner because our venue had a coordinator of its own. Now that all is said and done, my wife and I agree that hiring Kathryn was the single-best decision we made to have our day be as perfect as it was. She was incredibly easy to work with, and is the type of planner that gave us her number and told us to text any time with anything we needed. She is based in Sandusky but was so willing to drive to Cleveland for a planning meeting, the rehearsal, and the big day. She even has her own business- Singsolo Designs- and had save the dates, invitations, thank you cards, and programs all custom-made exactly how we asked. She is so friendly and pleasant to have on your big day, but can also easily switch to “in-charge” when your aunts and cousins won’t focus during family photos.

You will not find a better planner than Kathryn.

Literal life saver!

We had to reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic and had hired Kate to help us with that whole process. From the very beginning Kate was so friendly, helpful, and always on top of things. We worked with Kate for almost a year and anytime there was an issue or concern she was always there to answer my texts and ease my worries. Not only did Kate do an amazing job with helping to plan and coordinate the day she also created a beautiful invite design and website for us. Kate was recommended to us by a friend and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants some extra help during their wedding planning because it can be stressful and she helps to take that stress away. We would not have had such an amazing day if it was not for everything she did for us.

We loved her!

We absolutely love Kate! She is so incredibly organized, very responsive, extremely helpful and so kind hearted. We did not want to deal with anything stressful on our wedding day and Kate took care of it all. We got so many compliments from our guests on how amazing she was. She definitely went above and beyond! If you want a stress free wedding, I highly recommend hiring her!! We can't thank her enough for how wonderful she made our wedding day!

200% recommend Kate she is AMAZING!!

Kate was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t recommend her more!! Kate was so helpful through the whole planning process of my wedding. I had a lot of questions and she was immediately responsive and so kind to help with so much. She ran our rehearsal which was flawless and the day-of was seamless!! It couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Kate also made our seating chart which was beautiful!

It was a relief knowing Kate was in charge and could be the go-to person for the day of for everything. I had full confidence in her! Trusting her with our day was the best decision we made for our wedding!

Kate made all of our dreams come true and allowed us to be the most extra and over the top couple! 😂 she was better at remembering the details of our day than I was, and I could always count on her for her attention to detail, her support, and her expertise.

Real Life Fairy Godmother

Kate's business card says event planner but it really should say fairy godmother. She was there for me at all hours of the day and listened to all my crazy ideas without judgement. She was able to take what was in my head and make it a reality.

Absolutely Amazing!

Kate is absolutely amazing!! She planned my wedding in January of 2020 and everything was perfect- I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better event planner. She also made my bouquets and boutonnières and they were all stunning! Kate is wonderful at her job, from late night questions to last minute officiant cancellations she never hesitated to get things done. If you are looking for someone to plan your next event you won’t regret picking Kate!

Truly the best there is!

I would HIGHLY recommend Kathryn Volz Events. She single handedly made sure my husband and I’s wedding went perfectly. We had a huge problem with the venue not providing enough food for our guests and Kate went ahead and sprang into action and did her best to solve the situation that wasn’t even her area! I would text Kate in the middle of the night days leading up to our wedding with ideas that I would come up with and she made sure everything was taken care of. Words can’t express how much this lady rocks and saved our day! 💕💕
