When it came down to it, I chose Katie to by my photographer for the most important day of my life because I instantly felt so comfortable with her, she is funny & personable, and her portfolio speaks for itself. It was very clear she has an eye to capture the truest moments during engagement shoots and weddings. I loved that her packages included an engagement shoot plus an album to have displayed at our wedding. It was an excellent opportunity to get a feel for how she photographs and let me tell you it was a blast! Katie knows how to bring out the best moments to get us giggling, smiling, and not forcing posey shots. Everything was so natural. I knew based off the engagement shoot that the day of our wedding would be beyond perfection! The day of the wedding Katie not only captured precious moments she also was very efficient with out time so I didn’t feel we spent more time doing pictures and were able to enjoy our actual wedding as well! Her editing was perfection and done in a very timely manner especiallu for how many pictures she takes! I continue to recommend Katie to all my friends getting married and will always remember what an incredible job she did capturing the happiest day of my life!

Katie and her team is absolutely incredible. She not only provided us with gorgeous photos, but it was an honor to have her as part of our day. We had such a great experience working with Katie! She was a delight to communicate with and highly organized through the whole process, including giving us realistic timing expectations for all the photos we needed for our big day. She seems to think of EVERYTHING and had many thoughtful and considerate ideas about how to capture the day in the most memorable way WITHOUT it interfering with us taking in the day! And for family photos she really knows how to corral people which is HUGE so that you don’t have to waste any time! We really appreciated that. She also got us some sneak peak photos so fast we were able to share them on the first couple days of our honeymoon and the rest of the gallery followed very soon after. Our photos are gorgeous and take our hearts right back to the top of the mountain again whenever we see them. Katie is a gem and helped us memorialize our day so beautifully. Thank you!!!

I hired Kate for my wedding pictures (after a positive review from my close friend) glad I did! I did do my homework before hand & “interviewed” my potential photographers. Kate’s work really amazed me with her eye on the prize. She was able to capture the excitement of it all . Plus, the lovely-Dovey stuff lol. There are a lot of choices when it comes to choosing a wedding/event photographer. We had a wonderful experience and beautiful photographs to prove it with Katie and her assistant Morgan. I cannot say enough good things about Katie! You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day and I honestly enjoyed her company, creativity, joy, and professionalism. I had told Katie I didn't want to take family photos all day long and she made it happen- smoothly and kindly, she worked at a quick pace and truly is an expert with an eye for a good photo opportunity. We had arranged for her to come to our rehearsal dinner for 3 hours and another 5-6 hours on the wedding day! We love all of the pictures! I am posting just a few of hundreds of favorites.

Also such a nice touch- the flash drive she sent us was so cute! - message in a bottle style.

Flexibility is a 10 out of 5 because she was willing and able to spend the night in Truckee so we could get pictures during rehearsal and the wedding. She also understood that I wanted a lot of candid photos of guests and that is just what we got!! :)

Katie is a star photographer. We didn't do engagement shots but she instantly made us feel comfortable the day-of during our couple portraits. She clearly communicated how we should pose and made adjustments throughout to make us look our best. She politely and effectively managed our friends and family during group photos. As a bonus, she removed a bee that had flown up my wedding dress! Overall she was personable and super efficient about getting so many great shots in a short period of time. We love our wedding photos and highly recommend Katie!

Katie’s execution as our wedding photographer was flawless. She was very friendly but not at the expense of her professionalism, she was there to get the job done. Her Day-Of timeline was thorough and she adhered to it. Her timing was well thought-out in order to capture settings such as sunset and did not interfere with the overall timeline of our ceremony. Her photos were spectacular, every photo can be framed and displayed proudly. As hard as I try to nitpick, I can’t think of anything negative from Katie’s performance. Choosing her was the best decision.
