There are no words to express our gratitude for Katie. From the engagement session through the wedding, Katie provided incredible support. She's helpful, professional, and detail-oriented. We appreciated the time Katie took to get to know us and understand us. She was instrumental during our wedding; she not only made our photography session seamless and super fun, she also helped out in other ways (like helping us with the bowtie and the dress!). Katie was the absolute perfect photographer for our wedding. My husband and I did not have much experience being photographed and were worried about poses and looking natural in the pictures. At the beginning of the engagement shoot we immediately knew that Katie would be a great fit for us, since she was very down-to-earth and calming presence, and did a fantastic job helping us explore different poses and smiles. We loved our engagement shoot photos and were looking forward to our wedding day, and again Katie was a great addition to our day, helping us feel calm and collected in the whirlwind of the wedding day.

I cannot emphasize enough how gorgeous all our photos were. Katie has a wonderful eye for catching beautiful lighting and angles, creating gorgeous portrait photos. She also did a fantastic job capturing the real emotions and joy on everyones faces during the ceremony and later on the dance floors. I can't stop smiling every time I look at our wedding photos, they were such a perfect capture of a perfect day!

With Katie, our wedding day was perfect. She captured us flawlessly and was so on top of her game. There was a moment where I, the bride, had a little anxious moment and Katie was there with her calming words and her sweet presence. We 1000% recommend Katie!

I heard about Katie from our venue and decided to reach out. I am so glad I did! She had me from her first email response. Her warmth and care just shone through and I immediately knew she would be the perfect photographer to have around me on my special day. Further calls only reinforced this. What I love about Katie is that you immediately feel like she's a friend, BUT, she's also incredibly professional and her competence and attention to detail comes through in every interaction. She's someone I felt I could speak honestly with, share my ideas and trust they are being heard. During our wedding, she basically managed all of us the entire time, helping us find poses that are just so gorgeous now that I see the photos, helping my awkward self and husband look so natural, and more. She is a perfectionist but at no point does that turn into stress, she's all smiles, calm, and laughs in her interactions. You just know that with herself, she's got high standards and she's thinking the whole time how to deliver on them. But there's also an effortlessness about it because you can tell she's a pro and she's just don't this a lot and knows what to do. I also liked that I shared some poses with Katie that I wanted (and promptly forgot) and she made sure those were incorporated. We talked to other photographers and I chose Katie because a) I knew I'd want her warm energy around me; and b) she takes amazing natural photos, is great with lighting, and edits every photo herself. She's to this day my favorite vendor/ARTIST that I worked with during my wedding because I just didn't have to worry with her and trusted her to deliver. I'm so excited to keep working with her as our family continues to grow and we want to document more happy moments.

Katie was an absolute joy to work with! We booked her from across the country, and she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. From the first email she was responsive, knowledgeable, kind and fun! Booking was easy, and she uses a great portal to help keep track of payments and details. The day of the wedding was perfect! She was energetic and incredibly on-point. She knew the best lighting/locations and was a pro at wrangling the wedding party and family. Halfway through the pre-ceremony photos my husband literally whispered in my ear, "this photographer is awesome!" The sneak peak photos came quickly and we are in love with them. We absolutely loved working with Katie from start to finish and couldn't recommend her more!

Both Katies were just so amazing! I am awkward and leading up to the wedding, I was most nervous about photos because I didn't want to look awkward in my wedding photos. Both Katies made me feel at ease and all the photos we've seen so far look so beautiful. They are both super nice and friendly, and gave lots of ideas for fun photos. They helped us achieve every photo we wanted, including getting my feet wet in the ocean. My husband and I both had an absolute blast taking our photos!

When my husband and I first reached out to Katie on her availability for our 2020 wedding, we were particularly drawn to her candid shots and ability to capture the life, emotions and movement of the event and people. When we spoke with her, we instantly felt at ease. Her prices are extremely reasonable. She was flexible with her packages and happy to adapt them to our needs. Hiring Katie was a no-brainer.

Katie is everything you would want in a wedding photographer and more. Because we had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding due to the pandemic, we had the opportunity to work with Katie three times - our engagement shoot, our intimate 2020 wedding and our 2021 wedding celebration.

My husband and I are both a bit shy and awkward in front of the camera, but Katie effortlessly talked us through each pose as she clicked her camera. Although I generally do not enjoy taking a ton of photos, the sessions never felt like work, but hanging out with a (very professional) friend who happened to be taking our photos. At both our weddings, she was so patient with all our family members who we wanted to be included in the photos. With her calming presence and get it done attitude, Katie is the perfect balance.

WE LOVE OUR PHOTOS. Katie is MAGIC. After receiving photos from every session, we couldn’t believe how good she made us and everything around us look.

A note about the pandemic - Katie was so kind and understanding when we had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding. Although this was presumably one of the hardest years for wedding vendors, Katie handled all the changes with so much grace, which made this challenging year of wedding planning so much less stressful for us.

Our 2021 wedding celebration was imperfectly perfect. Katie was familiar with our venue and she wasted no time taking us to all the picture perfect spots. My husband and I had Katie by our side almost the entire night (except for when Katie was taking shots of our guests, the venue, etc.) We felt like we didn’t just have our photographer with us, but a friend guiding and supporting us through the night. There were a few last minute changes that needed to be made due to factors not under anyone’s control (e.g. weather). During one or two moments when it was visibly hard for me to make a decision, Katie gently but confidently gave her advice, which always turned out to be spot-on. To this day, I am certain that there are other details that Katie pitched in to help with, enabling the event to run smoothly, that we will never know.

Lastly, Katie is a professional through and through. Throughout the two years we worked with her, she was always responsive and organized. The online system she uses for payment and information sharing (e.g. questionnaire before the wedding) was so user friendly. Although this may not seem like a big deal, it really is when you’re working with a variety of vendors and trying to keep track of all your wedding details.

In case it’s not obvious by now, my husband and I unreservedly and wholeheartedly recommend Katie. We’re so excited to set up future family photo shoots with Katie!

Katie’s execution as our wedding photographer was flawless. She was very friendly but not at the expense of her professionalism, she was there to get the job done. Her Day-Of timeline was thorough and she adhered to it. Her timing was well thought-out in order to capture settings such as sunset and did not interfere with the overall timeline of our ceremony. Her photos were spectacular, every photo can be framed and displayed proudly. As hard as I try to nitpick, I can’t think of anything negative from Katie’s performance. Choosing her was the best decision.
