  Katie is the only photographer you want for your wedding

  I heard about Katie from our venue and decided to reach out. I am so glad I did! She had me from her first email response. Her warmth and care just shone through and I immediately knew she would be the perfect photographer to have around me on my special day. Further calls only reinforced this. What I love about Katie is that you immediately feel like she's a friend, BUT, she's also incredibly professional and her competence and attention to detail comes through in every interaction. She's someone I felt I could speak honestly with, share my ideas and trust they are being heard. During our wedding, she basically managed all of us the entire time, helping us find poses that are just so gorgeous now that I see the photos, helping my awkward self and husband look so natural, and more. She is a perfectionist but at no point does that turn into stress, she's all smiles, calm, and laughs in her interactions. You just know that with herself, she's got high standards and she's thinking the whole time how to deliver on them. But there's also an effortlessness about it because you can tell she's a pro and she's just don't this a lot and knows what to do. I also liked that I shared some poses with Katie that I wanted (and promptly forgot) and she made sure those were incorporated. We talked to other photographers and I chose Katie because a) I knew I'd want her warm energy around me; and b) she takes amazing natural photos, is great with lighting, and edits every photo herself. She's to this day my favorite vendor/ARTIST that I worked with during my wedding because I just didn't have to worry with her and trusted her to deliver. I'm so excited to keep working with her as our family continues to grow and we want to document more happy moments.

  The Best Wedding Photographer in the Bay Area!

  Katie was an absolute joy to work with! We booked her from across the country, and she made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. From the first email she was responsive, knowledgeable, kind and fun! Booking was easy, and she uses a great portal to help keep track of payments and details. The day of the wedding was perfect! She was energetic and incredibly on-point. She knew the best lighting/locations and was a pro at wrangling the wedding party and family. Halfway through the pre-ceremony photos my husband literally whispered in my ear, "this photographer is awesome!" The sneak peak photos came quickly and we are in love with them. We absolutely loved working with Katie from start to finish and couldn't recommend her more!

  (both) Katies are absolutely wonderful

  Both Katies were just so amazing! I am awkward and leading up to the wedding, I was most nervous about photos because I didn't want to look awkward in my wedding photos. Both Katies made me feel at ease and all the photos we've seen so far look so beautiful. They are both super nice and friendly, and gave lots of ideas for fun photos. They helped us achieve every photo we wanted, including getting my feet wet in the ocean. My husband and I both had an absolute blast taking our photos!

  Katie is the best!

  When my husband and I first reached out to Katie on her availability for our 2020 wedding, we were particularly drawn to her candid shots and ability to capture the life, emotions and movement of the event and people. When we spoke with her, we instantly felt at ease. Her prices are extremely reasonable. She was flexible with her packages and happy to adapt them to our needs. Hiring Katie was a no-brainer.
  
  Katie is everything you would want in a wedding photographer and more. Because we had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding due to the pandemic, we had the opportunity to work with Katie three times - our engagement shoot, our intimate 2020 wedding and our 2021 wedding celebration.
  
  My husband and I are both a bit shy and awkward in front of the camera, but Katie effortlessly talked us through each pose as she clicked her camera. Although I generally do not enjoy taking a ton of photos, the sessions never felt like work, but hanging out with a (very professional) friend who happened to be taking our photos. At both our weddings, she was so patient with all our family members who we wanted to be included in the photos. With her calming presence and get it done attitude, Katie is the perfect balance.
  
  WE LOVE OUR PHOTOS. Katie is MAGIC. After receiving photos from every session, we couldn’t believe how good she made us and everything around us look.
  
  A note about the pandemic - Katie was so kind and understanding when we had to reschedule our original 2020 wedding. Although this was presumably one of the hardest years for wedding vendors, Katie handled all the changes with so much grace, which made this challenging year of wedding planning so much less stressful for us.
  
  Our 2021 wedding celebration was imperfectly perfect. Katie was familiar with our venue and she wasted no time taking us to all the picture perfect spots. My husband and I had Katie by our side almost the entire night (except for when Katie was taking shots of our guests, the venue, etc.) We felt like we didn’t just have our photographer with us, but a friend guiding and supporting us through the night. There were a few last minute changes that needed to be made due to factors not under anyone’s control (e.g. weather). During one or two moments when it was visibly hard for me to make a decision, Katie gently but confidently gave her advice, which always turned out to be spot-on. To this day, I am certain that there are other details that Katie pitched in to help with, enabling the event to run smoothly, that we will never know.
  
  Lastly, Katie is a professional through and through. Throughout the two years we worked with her, she was always responsive and organized. The online system she uses for payment and information sharing (e.g. questionnaire before the wedding) was so user friendly. Although this may not seem like a big deal, it really is when you’re working with a variety of vendors and trying to keep track of all your wedding details.
  
  In case it’s not obvious by now, my husband and I unreservedly and wholeheartedly recommend Katie. We’re so excited to set up future family photo shoots with Katie!

  Katie’s execution as our wedding photographer was flawless. She was very friendly but not at the expense of her professionalism, she was there to get the job done. Her Day-Of timeline was thorough and she adhered to it. Her timing was well thought-out in order to capture settings such as sunset and did not interfere with the overall timeline of our ceremony. Her photos were spectacular, every photo can be framed and displayed proudly. As hard as I try to nitpick, I can’t think of anything negative from Katie’s performance. Choosing her was the best decision.

  Perfection!

  Katie is so professional and personable, we just instantly felt comfortable with her. She knows her way around all settings (morning light, sunset shots, nature, nighttime and indoor church lighting, etc.) She’s so dedicated to getting the perfect photo that she even got into the river to catch the perfect angle! I’ve worked with other wedding photographers as a bridesmaid and maid of honor and have seen where the personal connection was missing. It felt as if the photographer was there to do their job. With Katie, I felt like she was a friend who really wanted the best for us and to love our photography experience, which she did! She made us feel this way effortlessly. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

  Creative and skilled!!

  We had such a great experience working with Katie! She was a delight to communicate with and highly organized through the whole process, including giving us realistic timing expectations for all the photos we needed for our big day. She seems to think of EVERYTHING and had many thoughtful and considerate ideas about how to capture the day in the most memorable way WITHOUT it interfering with us taking in the day! And for family photos she really knows how to corral people which is HUGE so that you don’t have to waste any time! We really appreciated that. She also got us some sneak peak photos so fast we were able to share them on the first couple days of our honeymoon and the rest of the gallery followed very soon after. Our photos are gorgeous and take our hearts right back to the top of the mountain again whenever we see them. Katie is a gem and helped us memorialize our day so beautifully. Thank you!!!

  Katie is a star photographer. We didn't do engagement shots but she instantly made us feel comfortable the day-of during our couple portraits. She clearly communicated how we should pose and made adjustments throughout to make us look our best. She politely and effectively managed our friends and family during group photos. As a bonus, she removed a bee that had flown up my wedding dress! Overall she was personable and super efficient about getting so many great shots in a short period of time. We love our wedding photos and highly recommend Katie!

  I hired Kate for my wedding pictures (after a positive review from my close friend) glad I did! I did do my homework before hand & “interviewed” my potential photographers. Kate’s work really amazed me with her eye on the prize. She was able to capture the excitement of it all . Plus, the lovely-Dovey stuff lol. Thank you for such beautiful memories I can share with my family ❤️I love your work and will be in contact for future project. :)

  Fun and very comfortable

  Katie is so amazing! I did our wedding pics and family pics! Not only is she super sweet but she also makes you feel so comfortable especially if you are not used to being in front of the camera. And she never fails to get amazing shots! The thing I loved most is her digital services. You get access online to all the pics she took and can download them or buy professional printed versions from her! You will NOT regret picking her!

Katie did both our engagement and wedding photos. They are beyond perfect and her professionalism is above the rest.   I love Katie! She is so easy going and very responsive on email and text messages. She was amazing during our engagement shoot and cannot wait for the wedding! Her eye for lighting is unreal. She also has a great mix of both classic photos and fun artsy styles that will last a lifetime.

  Choose Katie as Your Photographer!

  Katie is an amazing photographer! She did our engagement and wedding photos, and I am currently working with her to schedule our family photos. During our engagement photoshoot, my husband, who normally does not like being in pictures, was so comfortable around Katie. Katie gave us clear direction throughout our session, made it an enjoyable experience for us, and always found the most perfect lighting for the photos. My husband and I were so happy with how our engagement photos turned out and had the ultimate confidence that Katie would do an amazing job capturing the moments of our wedding day. We were right! Just like our engagement photoshoot, Katie gave great direction and guidance. The photos looked so natural and captured the special moments throughout the day. Katie has such a unique and artistic style in her photographs which sets her apart from others. In addition, she is professional and also genuinely cares about the couples who she works with. She is very responsive over emails and texts, and my experience with her went as smoothly as I could have imagined. It's been almost two years since my wedding, but Katie and I have still kept in touch, and it's exciting to see both of our families grow. I highly recommend Katie to all couples!   There are a lot of choices when it comes to choosing a wedding/event photographer. We had a wonderful experience and beautiful photographs to prove it with Katie and her assistant Morgan. I cannot say enough good things about Katie! You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day and I honestly enjoyed her company, creativity, joy, and professionalism. I had told Katie I didn't want to take family photos all day long and she made it happen- smoothly and kindly, she worked at a quick pace and truly is an expert with an eye for a good photo opportunity. We had arranged for her to come to our rehearsal dinner for 3 hours and another 5-6 hours on the wedding day! We love all of the pictures! I am posting just a few of hundreds of favorites.
  
  Also such a nice touch- the flash drive she sent us was so cute! - message in a bottle style.
  
  Flexibility is a 10 out of 5 because she was willing and able to spend the night in Truckee so we could get pictures during rehearsal and the wedding. She also understood that I wanted a lot of candid photos of guests and that is just what we got!! :)

  My husband and I had so much fun with Katie at our wedding. Katie took our engagement, wedding and my boudoir shoot photos. We loved the way the photos turned out and will now have to struggle to figure out which ones we going to frame. There so many too choose from! She has a great personality and put up with my husband whining about wanting to go back to the party instead of taking pictures. She even laid down in the middle of a busy street in Sacramento just to get a great photo :) I would definitely recommend her to a friend.

Though hiring a photographer may feel expensive, if you hire her it is worth every penny. She is honest, friendly, and makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She has a true gift and natural ability to make you look your best without looking unnatural or over-the-top edited. She is dialed in on responsiveness, timeliness, and has all the right tools to make selecting your photos fun and easy. Her feedback is honest, but she also listens to what you want. We were so impressed with her and blown away by how awesome our pictures turned out. You can tell she really puts her heart into what she does and truly cares about her product and her clients satisfaction.   Katie is AMAZING! We had a very nontraditional wedding and she was all about it and extremely flexible. Katie, is just a sweet, kind, professional, and artistic woman. It was a pleasure to have her be part of our wedding. She was always timely with communication, and even politely reminded me of approaching deadlines - her online system of payments and final day details is super user friendly, practical, and really helpful. Her actual work is just fantastic, just look at her portfolio. So many people have said to us that our wedding photos aren't just photos, they are truly art. The day of our wedding Katie was like a fly on the wall, but at any moment if assistance was needed she would step right in. I'm pretty sure at some point she hunted my drink down for me while I was doing my makeup. All of our friends and family spoke highly of her and even said that she seemed like she was "one of friends." For our wedding we got married in my mother's backyard on her pool waterfall (no water running). Considering the setup, Katie had limited space to get photos of the ceremony. She did such an amazing job! In lieu of dancing we had a swim party. When we told Katie this she causally said something along the lines of "Oh right on, I'll bring my under water gear and capture some photos." We laughed and thought wow she is cool! Before the wedding we followed up with her about the pool photos, because we really weren't sure if this was a legitimate task a wedding photographer would be interested in doing. Katie, without hesitation was on board, she was serious! Sure enough at the end of our wedding night, everyone was in the pool, including our AWESOME wedding photographer! Also, get a package that includes a photo album! You won't regret it. It truly is one of the special things that sets Katie apart from other photographers. Even her attention to detail with packaging your album and your final photos on USB is impeccable! We can't say enough good stuff about Katie!
