Karri is simply the best out there when it comes to wedding invitations. My fiance and I planned our wedding during covid which was extremely stressful, and came with a lot of unknowns. One of the first vendors I looked was Karri and we instantly became wedding BFFs. She is so down to earth and when sharing my vision, you can tell she just *gets it*. All of our stationary was personal and featured elements so dear to our hearts, Karri went above and beyond to capture our love story in stationary form. And my god she is TALENTED. Her work is art and she is an artist. Our guests asked constantly where we got our Save the Date and invitation suite. Where do I begin? Karri is quite possibly the sweetest and most talented human on earth. When we postponed our 2020 wedding to 2021, I decided to “treat myself” with special invitations and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I previously worked with several invitation designers and no one understood my vision like Karri. She made my dreams a reality across invitations, menus, and programs. So many of our guests told us how beautiful and unique everything was from the moment we sent out our invitations. From the first time I met with Karri, I knew she had the artistic vision I was looking for to guide my fiance and I through the invitation process. She is SO good at what she does (plus she's super fun to hang with)! At the end, we were SO thrilled with our invitation suite - it was elegant and classic but totally personalized to US. For our wedding reception, we also asked Karri to create a watercolor signature drink sign, write on our card box and do our menu on a mirror from our own home - it was all beyond perfect. We had struggled to find invitations that suited our style and price range. Custom invitation suites in NYC were incredibly costly and the options we found online and in stationary stores didn't really get us incredibly excited. There was always one little thing we wanted to change in their offerings that we couldn't. We were about to give up until we saw an invitation suite on Instagram that Karri had designed.

Karri is extremely warm and friendly to work with, she is a local girl with strong ties to Connecticut wedding community. And she is above all so incredibly talented in calligraphy, watercolors, and painting! She was so gracious with her time and spent a couple hours with us in consultation as she heard our ideas and guided us towards a custom, hand-painted design that is uniquely ours and we absolutely love. Our invitation suite was a painting of the gazebo we would get married in front of, with the flowers of our wedding day. In fact, we gave that design to our florist as inspiration to recreate the painted scene in real life.

She was great in sketching out many different ideas for us and going through whatever amount of revision was necessary to get the invitations exactly to our taste.

For all that effort, Karri's pricing was ultimately only a small step above the quotes we were getting at shops like Minted and Paper Source. We absolutely love our invitation suite and so did our guests. The experience of working with Karri definitely holds a special memory and her suite will be forever cherished.

I’d like to start by saying I consider Karri my absolute favorite vendor we used for our wedding (which says a lot because we had so many awesome people help us make our day perfection). While shopping around for our wedding invitations, we couldn’t find something that would truly feel uniquely and wholeheartedly ours. When we found Karri’s work we both fell in love with her creativity and after meeting her we knew she was the piece of the puzzle we were missing. We went with a full invitation suite, envelope liner and calligraphy on both outer and inner envelopes along with Karri’s assembly option (this was totally worth it and was such a stress relief to know our invitations were in perfect hands en route to our guests). Karri was great about taking as little or as much direction from us as we wanted and remained super flexible throughout our design process. Our guests RAVED about our invitations and to this day people still talk about how beautiful they were. Karri helped us create the most perfect introduction for our guests to our wedding as well as menus, programs and matching marble tiles with calligraphy for place cards to tie everything together on the day-of. Where do I even begin! From the moment I reached out to Karri, I knew she was the perfect person to take our wedding invitations and day of signage above and beyond. She is not only professional, organized, and timely, but she is truly one of the sweetest people in the CT wedding industry. The first time I went to her cozy Collinsville studio to discuss designing our invitations, I ended up staying for hours, not only discussing my vision, but getting to truly know her. We used her for our invitations, escort cards, place cards, table numbers, programs, menus, and signage on paper, mirrors, and even wood! Our invitation suite included custom watercolor paintings of our wedding weekend locations as well as her stunning calligraphy. She is a true artist and absolutely blew me away every time she created something for me. I truly could not get enough of her beautiful work. In addition to the items above, she helped me further personalize our day by writing song lyrics on silk ribbon for my bouquet from a song my late grandmother would sing to me as a child and even creating a monogram for the front cover of our guest book. She helped me sort and attach my grandparents vintage stamps to the custom postcards she helped design which featured my husbands YiaYia's painting of our venue along with Karri's calligraphy. She made the cards I gave to my husband and bridesmaids, and even made prints of her custom paintings for me as gifts. She puts her heart and soul into all of her work and will give you some of the most honest advice out there. Some of my favorite memories of wedding planning were with her because she helped me put meaning into every piece of my day. The list of things she has done for me could go on and on, but the thing I will cherish most of all is the friendship we formed. Don't look anywhere else for your invitations, signage, or custom artwork for your big day! Karri will truly make your dreams come true, just like she did for me!
