From the booking process to the pre-event communication, the make-up trial and the day of the event, Karen was extremely professional and very nice to work with. Fernanda provided makeup for my mom and my group of friends that got ready with me the morning of the wedding. She was early to arrive, extremely kind, very efficient and made everyone look beautiful! Karen did my makeup, and I still can’t get over how great it looked! We did a make-up trial a couple months prior to the wedding which allowed us to make a couple slight adjustments once the big day arrived. My makeup looked fresh from the minute it was applied until our private last dance at the end of the evening. I highly recommend booking Karmel Design Team for your wedding! Karen and her beauty team were amazing to work with. Everytime I had a question or needed to change something she was beyond responsive and made sure i wasn't left unsure. When it came to the wedding day with hair and makeup, words can't even describe how wonderful the whole team was. They completely exceeded even what they did for my trial. Absolutely breath taking in every aspect.

Thrilled with my choice! Karen at KDTA was a joy to have around and the perfect artist to make me beautiful. I am over 50 and from out of state. My make-up looked great and weathered the sweltering humidity at the outdoor wedding and reception. My hair looked natural and remained in place, as well. My hair has a thin follicle and is straight, shoulder length, and layered. The up-do lasted without fail and looked amazing. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this design team. These girls are wizards!!! I have never felt more beautiful, and I can genuinely say that each of the ten ladies they transformed felt exactly the same way. With all of the details to decide and things that must be "just-so", Karen took the stress out of feeling beautiful on my big day. She didn't chide me for not having more pictures or ideas, or for the scheduling mix-up (SO SORRY!!), she never made us feel rushed even though their were so many of us and we caused a late start.... They were SO professional, fun, and easy-going. It was like a super chill beauty assembly line! Karmel is the vibe you want on your day. Thank you so much ladies!!!

Karen was amazing! From the moment I started getting in contact with her she was on top of everything! I did trials, one was for hair and makeup and the second was just hair. I asked to look natural but have a little more than just liner and mascara and she exceeded my expectations! I am EXTREMELY picky with my makeup and anyone touching my face but she was PERFECT! Karen did my hair and makeup for my wedding on 10/20/19 and it came out 100 percent better then I had imagined it would. She made me look and feel like a bride! I did the airbrush makeup that lasted the whole day! I am so happy with how everything turned out. Karen did an amazing job and I highly recommend her and her team!

Karen and her team were the perfect choice for my wedding! I’ve never had my makeup done before and I was beyond nervous about choosing an artist. I have a lot of knowledge about makeup but I knew I would be too nervous to do my makeup for my wedding - and I 100% cannot do hair. One look through her Instagram and I decided to go for a trial. I was between airbrush and traditional - Karen was able to do half of my face with traditional and half with airbrush. Taking that amount of time to make sure I was comfortable and not pushing either option really cemented my decision. I went with airbrush and I’m so happy with my choice. The morning of the wedding, Karen and Diana arrived at our hotel suite on time. I was nervous but their calm demeanor helped me relax. They were so sweet and really listened to all 6 of us about what we were looking for. They finished early and the best part was my hair - my hair never curls and Karen was able to get it perfect! It looked exactly how I had always imagined it would look on my wedding day and I am so grateful to her. I was adamant I wanted my hair down and I was worried no one would be able to get my hair veil to stay but Karen was able to! I’d recommend Karmel Design Team to anyone - I love looking at our photos!
