We absolutely loooved working with Karen and her daughter Gen! They did such a great job, we got our sneak peaks back just within a couple days and they’re beautiful! The quality is amazing, the poses and direction they gave us were great. The coordination through chaotic family photos and wedding party photos went very well. Karen spoke with me multiple times throughout the planning process and helped me create an itinerary and find photo spots. All of her feedback through planning was extremely helpful. They were so friendly and fun throughout the day. They even helped me get my dress on as we were rushing to get to our first look!! You can’t go wrong choosing them to be your photographer, I’m sure glad I found them.

Karen is fantastic! She did our engagement photos in Sept 2021 and was the photographer at our wedding March 2022. We cannot recommend her enough! She is fun, upbeat, and easy to be around. She directs poses clearly, giving guidance and feedback that lead to neat, natural, candid shots. We were nervous at our engagement shoot but Karen put us at ease and made us feel comfortable and even enjoy the process. By the end we had complete confidence that our wedding photography was in great hands.
Leading up to wedding day, we had a final call, and emailed with Karen several times about details, shot lists, etc. she was always prompt and available.
On wedding day, she arrived on time, was positive and excited for the day. Her daughter Gena assisted and was helpful, attentive and calming as well. They helped us adjust and stick to our timeline through getting ready, first look, couple photos, and family photos all before the ceremony. She had our backs and checked in with how we were doing throughout the day and evening. She went above and beyond our expectations by coordinating with the DJ directly, helping bustle my dress (a few times), and dealing with guest photo requests.
Our family and friends commented on how great she was and we agree! We’ve already received a few sneak peek photos (2 days later!) and they are beautiful! So many good, funny, candid photos and formally posed ones too. We can’t wait to see the rest! Karen helped to make our wedding day easy and we are so happy we found her to be our photographer. The best! We highly, highly recommend booking her as your photographer!

We loved working with Karen and Gena! We are very camera-shy people but knew we would want photos from our wedding, so we needed someone who would make us feel comfortable outside of our comfort zone. We are so happy we found Karen! We had a great time doing our engagement shoot with her, and love all of our photos! When illness struck on the day of our wedding and Karen couldn’t be there herself, she still saved the day with her daughter Gena and another photographer (Aaron) who did a fantastic job! Gena made sure we had all the shots that we wanted and kept us having fun all day. Our photos are absolutely wonderful. Karen and Gena are the best!

We hired Karen and Gen for our engagement and wedding pictures. In short, they were AMAZING. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and with them it was one less thing to worry about. They were so fun, easy going, professional, and really made it easy to be ourselves around them. They made sure we had a friendship through it all, I had no issues asking for anything and I was confident they'd get the shots we'd like. Also being a coronavirus bride, they were so accommodating and flexible, which was truly appreciated!! And the pictures??? Oh my goodness, I literally screamed with joy and sobbed. They were STUNNING. Truly caught the magic of the day. Not one ounce of me regrets booking Karen and Gen, they're a great pair with jaw dropping talent.

I cannot say enough on how great my experience was working with Karen! Karen came to me recommended by another photographer and was just excited as I was to shoot our wedding as we were to have her shoot. My husband and I had a multi-day, multi-event wedding that we aimed to be full of fun, color, and love. Karen understood this vision and, with her lovely second shooter Genevieve, captured these moments. I cannot thank Karen enough for her incredible support leading up to the wedding and her encouragement during the wedding weekend. I highly recommend Karen for any of your photography needs.

Karen has now taken our engagement photos, wedding photos, & maternity photos. I couldn’t recommend her more. She’s not serious at all— & I love it. She makes you feel comfortable & makes you feel that it’s ok as a male if you’re insecure about taking photos & will help you feel secure by just having fun. Sessions fly by because it’s like you’re just hanging out with a friend. I never thought there would come a day where I didn’t dread getting my pictures taken... but now when my wife tells me we have to get more pictures taken with Karen I look forward to it!

Highly Recommend! My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding and engagement photos that Karen and her team did! In addition to being wickedly talented at what she does, Karen is a great person who is very trustworthy. Our ceremony was outside and Karen got stung by a bee right before the ceremony began. I never knew this until after because she handled it with such grace and the photos turned out absolutely amazing. She doesn't let anything get in the way of doing her job and being creative.

Just a few days after our wedding Karen sent a sneak peek of pictures which was very much appreciated! The one thing I was nervous about was that our room for the reception was too yellow because of the lighting I chose. Karen was able to work her magic and there was no sign of yellow in the photos!

I cannot speak highly enough of Karen, Kamron, and Genevieve. The team at Karen Menyhart Photography was phenomenal and helped contribute to the best day of our lives. We had an unexpected winter wedding complete with rain and snow.. Karen watched the forecast, brought umbrellas, and made sure we still got the outdoor shots that we had so hoped for. Throughout the wedding week she stayed in touch and was such a pleasure to work with. My husband and I really wanted a relaxed presence as a photographer, someone that could reign in the masses but also have fun. Karen did all this and more. She had a blast with the party and when plans had to change due to weather she rolled with it and helped make even better plans!! We are so grateful to Karen and her team for their hard work. AND after working so hard for us the whole day of the wedding, my husband and I are able to look at a sneak peak of photos the very next day. We are amazed! We cannot say enough good things about Karen and her team! She really helped to make our wedding wonderful! From the planning process to the actual day, Karen and her team were so easy to work with. Karen thought of things that I would have never thought of during the planning process. From the day's schedule to the actual places to have photos, there was not a thing to worry about as I knew Karen and her team had everything under control. She even had indoor suggestions and a back up plan for pictures in case of rain. During our wedding, she was always right there ready to capture any part of our day.
