What is the story behind Karen Geaghan Photography?
What you should know about me? I am not only a wedding and portrait specialist who loves and is passionate about my business but also a mom and individual who truly believes in love, friendship and unity. Call me crazy, but I still believe in fairytales and happily ever after too. I began my photographic journey in the early 1980s starting with yes, film and slides then converting to digital in the early 2000s. I absolutely adore what I do and am blessed to photograph not only weddings but a wide variety of portrait work as well. Photographing babies is one of my other loves.
My goal for many years has been to educate my clients on the benefits of using professional photography, professional products and dynamic lighting. I descibe my style of photography as clean, solid photography with a focus on lighting. I offer storytelling art with a mixture of traditional photography then sprinkle a little bit of my magic on every wedding or session.
I have recieved numerous local and international awards over the years and been published in many publications. Life just seems to get better every consecutive year for which I am so blessed and eternally grateful.

Wedding Photographer
We had the pleasure of working with Karen Geaghan Photography for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures! We cannot say enough amazing things about Karen Geaghan and her partner Cindy! They were absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish and made us feel so comfortable throughout our entire wedding day. They captured every special moment, the little details, and all of the emotions of our big day so beautifully. One of our favorite things was how quickly we got to relive our day… we received sneak peek photos the very next day, and somehow had our entire wedding gallery back within just a week and a half! The photos are absolutely beautiful and captured our day better than we could have imagined. We can’t wait to see our wedding album that we included in our package!
Karen and Cindy were professional, kind, fun, and truly went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful we trusted them to capture such an important day in our lives. We will cherish these photos forever! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding/any special event photographers!

Best day ever! 06.06.2026
Karen was one of the easiest and best decisions we made for our wedding. From our very first interaction, she was warm, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but during our engagement session she guided us every step of the way, helping us with poses and making the experience feel natural and fun. By the end of the session, it felt like we were spending time with a friend.
On our wedding day, Karen was attentive, calm, and always seemed to know exactly where she needed to be. She captured all of the big moments we were excited for, along with so many small moments we didn't even realize were happening. Looking through our photos brought us right back to the emotions of the day, and that is such a special gift.
What we appreciated most was how comfortable and supported she made us feel throughout the entire process. She genuinely cared about making our day special and it showed in everything she did. We are so grateful for the beautiful memories she captured and will treasure these photos for the rest of our lives.

Beautiful Wedding Pictures
Our photographer was amazing! She was professional, straight to the point, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Loved Our Photos!
Karen and her team were a pleasure to work with for our wedding and engagement photos. They made good suggestions for how to get a great set of photos from the day. They were professional while also being personable and fun. In particular, we liked how they set up the "first look" scene and made it memorable and fun experience. We also had some amazing shots that were improved by Karen's direction just after we began to walk down the isle. They also were respectful and thoughtful of arranging family photos with families from two different backgrounds. Overall, smooth and easy to work with. Would recommend!

October Wedding 2024
Karen and her assistant Cindy were amazing. They both were attentive to details and easy to work with. They both listened to what we as a couple wanted for pictures and also were creative on different poses and placements. They took the time understand and adapt to how to work with our large bridal party. Karen was great on getting all the special details that made our wedding. She was very clear on what she needed to make the whole day go smoothly and stress free! Definitely recommend her and her team for weddings, school pictures and family pictures!
