My wife and I had an EXCELLENT experience working with Mohammad and Kabob Bazaar (via its Arlington location) as they catered our 100-person Fall 2012 wedding reception in Alexandria, VA. The food for the reception was not only delicious, but over the course of the several months leading up to the event Mohammad helped us plan our menu, advised on our rental equipment choices (chaffing dishes and other food equipment, for example) and helped us plan the timing and overall presentation of our appetizers (cocktail hour) and the dinner buffet.
Mohammad (and Kabob Bazaar) was flexible in timing and transportation of the food: our appetizers arrived first for cocktail hour and the dinner buffet foods were delivered later to ensure they were fresh. Mohammad even arranged for Kabob Bazaar to rent a portable food warming cabinet to transport the food from Arlington to the reception site in Alexandria. Kabob Bazaar's staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and presented the food very well at the reception. The staff also provided helpful guidance to the rental company staff serving the food to ensure proper presentation and service. We decided our menu based on the recommendations on the back of Kabob Bazaar's brochure and the value was fantastic overall, but particularly for the quality of food. We recommend including the stuffed salmon in addition to the kabobs and rice selections. The food was a hit with everyone including an older crowd and gluten-intolerant guests. We highly recommend Kabob Bazaar for catering events and were very impressed with the food, staff, and services.
