I'm a storytelling, emotive, wedding photographer working in the greater Triangle area. I serve couples in Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Cary, North Carolina and beyond.

I have a passion for photography which sparked when I was seven years old (I still have my neon green 110mm camera which I won selling the most cookie dough in a school fundraiser). That passion never quieted, and I followed it up with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Documentary Film Photography. I specialized in color film photography but know B&W darkroom printing and processing like the back of my hand. I ran my own darkroom, taught classes, and will forever love that smell of developer and stop.

I'm still passionate about the style of film photography - the vibrant and honest colors, imperfections. The amazing beauty of using light as my medium to create art. I know how to use light to create magic. Photography has been my medium for communicating my thoughts and ideas about the world for almost twenty years. My work has focused on documentary shooting, trying to capture ephemeral emotions as they develop. I've been blessed to share my passion with the community around me and never expected my life to take me in this direction. And I am SO thankful.
