I could not have been more happy with hiring Julia for my wedding!! From her talent to her professionalism, I could not recommend her more. She was very helpful during the trial in getting to my desired style and super responsive throughout the process. I also had a very tight time schedule with my large bridal party and not only did she show up early, she made everyone look incredible ahead of schedule. To top it all off, my style normally falls easily, but somehow Julia made my curls last from Saturday until Monday.

Julia did my (the bride's) hair. She was happy to do just my hair, not any of the bridesmaids' (other stylists are not willing to do so), and came all the way to SW DC on the day of my wedding. I was really worried that my hair would fall out because my hair is thin and up-do's usually fall out. However, it stayed perfectly all day and night, and I received numerous compliments! Julia designed my hair in a trial session and I'm really thankful for her ideas because I felt so beautiful on the day of my wedding! Julia was also very affordable compared to other DC-area hair stylists. I would highly recommend her!

I am so lucky to have come across Julia. She was wonderful to work with though two trials and then day of! She listened to my vision, checked out all the pinned images and then set to work on providing me with beautiful hair styles each time. She is a master at quick up-dos! Also, she really gets points on being able to provide typically bone straight hair long lasting curls throughout the entire wedding day. We had varying styles of up-dos, a blow out and two girls with down-dos. With a few tweaks here and there- everyone was pleased with their hair and they lasted late into the night. Julia was great! I hired Julia to do my hair for my wedding day.
I did my first trial with her and loved my hair when leaving the salon but when I got home decided the first style was not what I wanted to go with. Julia did a second trial with me and was extremely patient, flexible and professional while I tried to make up my mind how I wanted it done. I have a lot of hair and for me it is unmanageable, but she was able to work with it and make it look amazing!!! Going through pictures with friends, I am STILL getting compliments on how great my hair looked.
Julia also did all of my bridemaids hair, which turned out equally amazing. On the day of the wedding she showed up early and was all set to start even earlier than originally planned.. We all finished with plenty of time to spare. One of the most important things that made her work so great was that it stayed... ALL DAY, again a reminder that I have a lot of heavy, thick hair. Julia was able to make it stay up all day without giving it a oversprayed/ crunchy look.
Overall she was great and I would recommend her to anyone of my friends.

Julia was absolutely amazing!! I went to her salon in downtown Silver Spring for the hair trial and we working on making my hairstyle the way that i wanted it. Then, she travelled to the hotel on my wedding day. She also did my bridesmaid's hair and both styles looked great! So happy to have selected Julia - she's very responsive, personable, and punctual! Julia did an amazing job on my wedding hair and updos for all my bridesmaids and mother. She is very responsive and professional. I wasn’t exactly sure on whether to do an updo or half up style so I had quite a few trials with her and she absolutely didn’t mind. She is so very patient and kind. I am glad I found her! She does a great job at an affordable price! I will definitely recommend her to my bridesmaid’s and friend’s when they get married!

Julia styled my and my 4 bridesmaids' hair and did an absolutely fantastic job. We all gave her pictures of what we wanted, and she recreated them perfectly in a short amount of time. I had hired her back in November or December, and she was very responsive by email. Julia came about 30 minutes early to set up and get her tools ready and was able to create these great hairstyles in a short amount of time -- we started at 12:30 and ended around 3:30 for all 5 of us. Also, her prices are very reasonable, especially for the DC area -- don't have to lose an arm and a leg to look good on your wedding day :) Highly, highly recommend!! Julia helped to make my October 2014 wedding fabulous. She did my hair and I loved it! I wanted a casual up-do with curls hanging down - simple but elegant. She also did my bridesmaid's hair and it was equally fab. Julia arrived at my house super-early. She was friendly, laid-back and professional. Leading up to the wedding, she kept in close email contact (I live in another state) and I sent her pictures of my current hair length and the styles I was interested in (since we wouldn't have time for a trial run). We couldn't of been happier. She also recommended a wonderful make-up artist and they worked very well together.

Julia did an amazing job with our up do's for a recent wedding. They looked wonderful and stayed in all night! I would highly recommend her for your next event!
