The heart behind Julia Hitz Photography, a Dallas, Texas-based wedding photography service, is capturing authentic moments for authentic people! My greatest desire is for each and every couple to walk away feeling seen and known by me & to have images that truly capture their hearts & story. My priority is making each & every couple feel comfortable & at ease in front of the lens & to create a fun, natural atmosphere for them to do so! I am located in the DFW area, but I am always down for some adventure. I would describe my style to be earthy, warm, and moody & would say that I tend to sway towards non-traditional photography. Capturing moments for couples has become my greatest passion & I look forward to making some memories with you!!

Amazing Energy, Spirit, and Skills!

Julia was the most amazing photographer and I am so so lucky to have found her! Her energy brightened an already beautiful day and I knew our wedding photos were going to be more amazing than I ever imagined… and they definitely were! Every photo in our gallery is beautifully photographed and edited and a perfect capture of my wedding day. Julia is an amazing artist who we plan on working with lots more in the future!

The best photographer in the DFW area!

Julia took the most amazing maternity pictures I could have ever asked for. During a time I haven’t felt the greatest, she made me feel so beautiful! I am just so obsessed with the pictures and can’t wait for her to capture my newborn pictures in the Fall. I can honestly say she will be my go to photographer for all my future needs! If you are looking for a photographer SHE IS IT!! You will not regret working with her! Thanks Julia for capturing this sweet time in my family’s life!

Amazing!!!

Julia was amazing to work with! We booked her for the entire wedding day and the shots she took were amazing!!! She knows how to get the best shots of all kinds of people. For example, my husband is super camera shy and she was able to get some amazing shots by directing him in certain actions until things seemed natural and easy, he even complimented how easy it was working with her and he HATES the camera. Everything from the group photos of guests, wedding party, candid shots of the wedding was amazing!!! Thank you Julia for bringing out the best of everyone and making our wedding memorable, we will cherish these photos forever! HIGHLY recommend her for your future wedding yall, she's more than worth it!!

The. Best. Ever.

Not only is Julia an exceptionally talented photographer, but she absolutely bent over backwards and went above and beyond well before, during, and after our wedding day. While it just felt like talking to a friend, Julia was extremely timely and effective in her communication. I never left a conversation with questions unanswered or feeling unheard by her. We loved knowing that Julia was eager & probably just as excited as we were for our day. We can’t thank her enough for all the time and details she put into making our wedding album special.

The. Best.

I am a photographer myself and had Julia take some photos of my husband and I. I literally couldn’t have done it better myself. I bawled my eyes out when we quickly got our photos back and I couldn’t be happier with my experience with her. She will be our go to girl for all our photos forever!!!

Absolutely incredible

Julia is AMAZING. She captured all aspects of my wedding including engagement and boudoir. I am not a very photogenic person but from the very beginning Julia made me feel so comfortable. She flew all the way to Las Vegas to shoot my wedding and I couldn’t imagine it could have gone any better. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. She will be shooting every aspect of my life for a long time!

Exceptional!

Julia is such an incredible photographer! She has an amazing eye for all the details and did an incredible job of capturing our day. She made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera and have clear direction. We especially loved getting to do an engagement shoot with her prior to our wedding so we could get to know her on the day of our wedding it felt like our best friend was behind the camera.
