JP was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was extremely professional, accommodating, and flexible, especially when we had a few last-minute changes. He kept the party going all night with an amazing selection of music, great energy, and a fun atmosphere that had everyone on the dance floor!

JP provided the lighting, MC, and music at our wedding reception. He was a featured vendor at The CocoPlum. He was fantastic. Prior to the reception he asked us for our event itinerary so that he could plan his announcements. He also asked us for our music requests. We provided him with three playlists.

His execution at our reception was phenomenal. He is a great MC with a great voice. He followed our playlist requests and did a great job at mixing and cutting all of the songs together, which was impressive given that we requested American, Cuban, and Romanian music.

From the moment we booked DJ JP, we knew we were in the best hands possible. He is, without question, the best wedding DJ in South Florida - and I say that as an extremely Type A, out-of-state bride who is unbelievably particular about music, flow, timing, and overall atmosphere. After speaking with so many vendors throughout the planning process, DJ JP stood out immediately, and somehow still exceeded every expectation we had.

First of all, he was hands down the friendliest, most professional, and easiest vendor we worked with throughout our entire wedding. His communication was unmatched - every text, call, or email was answered so quickly, usually within the hour. No matter how detailed, specific, or particular we were, he made us feel completely heard and supported every step of the way. He was incredibly collaborative and truly adapted to exactly what we wanted as a couple. Whether you want to be fully hands-on or completely trust his expertise, he can do it all flawlessly.

Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and DJ JP absolutely nailed it. We personally selected every single song played from 3:00 PM through 10:15 PM, and he executed every transition perfectly. Every song flowed seamlessly into the next, every moment felt intentional, and the few songs he selected himself fit the vibe so perfectly you would’ve thought we chose them ourselves. To this day - weeks after the wedding - our guests are STILL talking about how incredible the music was and how packed the dance floor stayed all night long.

Beyond being an amazing DJ, he was an incredible MC. He kept the entire evening organized and flowing effortlessly without ever overdoing it on the microphone. He struck the perfect balance of professionalism, energy, and elegance. Our planning calls were unbelievably detailed and efficient - he thought through every single transition, speech, dance, cue, and timing down to the second. From the ceremony processional timing to reception entrances, first dances, cake cutting, and our exit song, every single moment was executed flawlessly.

He also completely transformed the atmosphere of our wedding with his lighting and production. The bistro lighting, draping, and cold sparks were stunning and timed perfectly throughout the night. Every enhancement elevated the space and created the exact ambiance we dreamed of.

What impressed us most was his ability to blend so many different styles of music throughout the entire day while still making everything feel cohesive and elevated. Every portion of the wedding had its own perfect energy - ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and late-night reception - and he understood the assignment every single time.

Overall, DJ JP helped create the exact feeling and atmosphere we envisioned for our wedding day, and I genuinely cannot imagine our wedding without him. He is worth every single penny and then some. If you are getting married in South Florida, stop searching and book him immediately. You will have zero regrets, zero stress, and truly the best wedding DJ experience possible.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having JP as our DJ for our wedding reception. He was so easy to work and accommodated all of our needs. Not only did he provide DJ services, but he also had a wide selection of decor options which were fairly priced. He listened to the suggestions we had and provided his own suggestions which we found extremely helpful. Our wedding took place in January and 3 months later our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. All of our guests said they have never been to a wedding where there was so much dancing and that was definitely thanks to JP and his music!

We couldn’t have asked for better than JP for our wedding! Between the planning phone calls and emails, hype texts leading up to the big day, and playing all of our song requests. JP also set us up with lighting, draping, and our photobooth. When there was a minor issue with accessing our pictures after the event, JP was so attentive and resolved it incredibly fast. We are grateful for JP and hope we can dance at another party he DJs!

JP is a phenomenal DJ! We got married at the Cocoplum Woman’s Club last week and everything about it was spectacular! JP really brought my vision to life. A DJ can really make or break a wedding’s mood, and we’re so lucky we had JP running ours! Not only was he ULTRA responsive throughout the planning process — day or night, he would take our call (outside of events, of course) — but he was completely flexible, professional, and easy to work with.

He has a preference sheet you can fill out, and he reviewed every detail with us, giving advice where we needed some and flawlessly accommodated our requests while still being able to read the crowd and keep the energy high. We’ll never forget the moment all 150 of our guests got up on the dance floor and danced all night. Many friends and family raved to us and said “wow, he was so great and never even took a break!”

Because JP works exclusively with the Coco Plum (our venue), he’s familiar with the space and how to work it. We also did upgraded lighting, Photo Booth, and props, and the ambience was warm, inviting, and better than our vision.

Another noteworthy mention was how well JP was familiar with different cultural observances. We had a Jewish wedding, and he worked seamlessly with our rabbi, as well as knowing the best version of Hava Nagila to play for the Hora and other special touches. He paid special attention to names and family members involved in the toasts/dances.
