Having Joss as our Wedding photographer was a great experience. We had our pre-wedding/marriage license and wedding photos with him. The photos come out beautifully, and Joss was a pleasure to be around. Always making sure to capture what we wanted, and providing great recommendations for when we couldn’t decide. His style captures the real moments, small details, almost cinematic at times. Joss made quick, clear communication and was very flexible. Joss is an ultimate professional and so easy to work with. He was incredibly kind and understanding about us having to reschedule our wedding banquet the week-of due to COVID. He was punctual, communicative, and captured our event beautifully. He really just let us enjoy our day naturally even with all our awkwardness, and he helped us get all the photos we wanted with so many extended family members and friends. When the coloring on some of our sunset photos we took before the banquet were not the style my family wanted, he even offered to re-edit them and produced something everyone loves. We cherish the photo memories we have of our event from Joss. Highly recommended!

Joss was a dream to work with- professional, responsive, and very flexible! His pricing is also very reasonable. He is always open to going the extra mile to help us (like driving far distances, coming to the rehearsal etc.). He was also very pleasant to communicate with- For any bride-to-be out there, this is something you should seriously consider, because you definitely want someone who is easy to work with on such a high stress day! All in all, Joss was great, and I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer. The only reason why I see someone not wanting to work with him is if their personal taste in photography aesthetics is different, in which case, that is totally a subjective thing. Joss is the best!! He photographed our engagement and our wedding photos and we're super happy with how they turned out. It was so easy to work with Joss throughout the experience -- he's responsive, knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. My husband closes his eyes in 90% of photos but somehow Joss was able to capture so many good photos. He's passionate about his work and it definitely shows. My husband and I are teachers, which means we are perpetually on a budget, and one of the first things my married friends told me to research was wedding photographers. These days, if you don't get a good wedding photographer, it's like you didn't get married! But where were we going to find a quality photographer within our budget? Enter Joss.

Upon perusing Joss's portfolio, we realized we loved the look and feel of his photos. His photos seemed to capture simple beauty and timelessness so effortlessly. We were so pleased when we found that Joss was able to offer us an engagement and wedding photo package that was within our budget.

Since neither my husband nor I like to brave the elements for those outdoorsy photos, and since I appreciate the look and grandeur of SF City Hall, we decided to go there for engagement shoot as Joss seemed to have had a lot of experience capturing photos there. Joss was professional, easy-to-work-with, and flexible. He put us at ease and found gorgeous nooks and cranies throughout the building to take some amazing photos. He also got some pretty iconic shots, and despite the general busyness and crowds at City Hall, was able to capture some moments of just the two of us. He sent us gorgeously edited photos as well as all of the raw photos very shortly after the engagement shoot, and we were able to incorporate them in our wedding website and project them at our venue on our wedding day prior to the ceremony.

On our wedding day, Joss was just as professional and just as devoted to his craft and vision. My husband and I are probably the most unhelpful couple with no ideas or suggestions as to where to take photos, and Joss was able to capture the magic of the day and all of those special moments and details regardless (he does have a photographer's eye, after all!). We did discuss a shot list prior to the big day, along with a list of group photos we wanted to capture, and Joss was able to do that plus much, much more.

Joss has an eye for capturing light, beauty, joy, and details in the most magical way. We just received our wedding photos and just so, so pleased with how they have turned out! Joss was able to capture our special day so wonderfully and so beautifully, and we truly could not be more grateful. We have gotten numerous compliments on all the photos we have shared with family and friends. The composition of some of the photos is just incredible!
