Josh did such an amazing job! He captured every moment without our photos looking stiff while still making us look like a magazine! 10/10 will book in the future for family photos or anything else!

Josh was definitely a highlight of our wedding day! He was so easy to work with, especially for being an out of town bride. For being someone who doesn't enjoy taking pictures, he made it so laid back and fun! We were on a short time frame on our wedding day but Josh had already scouted out some spots for pictures and helped everything go so smoothly. His photography is beautiful! Such a great photographer! My husband and I planned our wedding from out of state and Josh was extremely flexible throughout the process by meeting with us on weekends and via Skype. We were thrilled with the quality of photos we received, they were so unique and truly captured the joy of the day. He captured so many great candid moments! My mom actually met Josh at a Wedding Expo event in Asheville, NC and grabbed his card. When we got home with our stack of business cards and pamphlets and pulled up each website, it was clear that Josh was the best of the bunch. We did a video call to chat and make sure we were a good match, and after 1 minute of chatting we knew we wanted to work with Josh and he seemed enthusiastic about taking part in our wedding. Josh is amiable, easy to feel comfortable around, and funny. He was flexible with our wishes for what we wanted to get out of his services.

When the mountain wedding came, he was able to easily insert himself into our schedule, was extremely professional while also laid back, and navigated the event (and terrain) without any issues. His presence was natural and friendly. Our portrait sessions (solo and family) were lighthearted and fun. He was prompt in turning around the photos to us, which we were so excited to receive. I would highly recommend Josh to anyone for ANY kind of photography services, and we hope to make it down South again for another photo session in the future.

My fiancee found Josh while browsing online for photographers, and we were lucky enough to be able to book him. Planning a wedding is daunting (which I'm sure you already know if you're reading reviews of wedding photographers) but working with Josh was easy and enjoyable, from our first Skype call with him to the delivery of the photos. On the wedding day itself, his friendly, professional demeanor put us at ease. He's naturally personable, has a great sense of humor, and what I can only imagine is limitless patience to be able to deal with large groups of people so cheerfully. In short: he's great to work with, and we enjoyed having our pictures taken by him. You get the impression right off the bat that he is dedicated to his craft and his client.

When we were able to see the final photos, we were blown away. He somehow managed to be everywhere at once, making perfect use of natural light, and catching small moments that lesser photographers would have missed. He managed to find the magic in every frame he captured, and we have spent the days since we received our pictures looking at them over and over, amazed at how beautiful everything was.

When it came down to what we were looking for in a photographer, the only concern that we had was whether or not we would be able to find a photographer who could truly capture the magic of a candid moment. When we found Josh Rigsby's work, we knew that he understood what it meant to truly capture the essence of the moment. We were able to sit down with Josh at a casual coffee shop and get to know the heart behind the talent. He proved to be such a genuine guy and we felt like we met a friend that we had known our whole lives. We were completely at ease because of his ability to be so personable and taking the time to set expectations for our shoot. This was the most amazing day of our lives — starting a new chapter as husband and wife. One of the biggest nonnegotiables was having stellar photos that captured just how special that day was. If I never score any other brownie points with my wife, I certainly have at least two — I said yes to the most incredible, breathtaking, genuine, loving, Godly woman I'll ever know, and I chose the very best photographer, entrepreneur, and friend to capture it all. So I owe it to Josh for one of those brownie point ;). We can't say enough about the experience other than the ROI being so residual. He captured the moments in a way that allows us to relive the raw passion, touch, excitement, and atmosphere of our wedding. It was worth far more than what we invested and we plan to make even more investments to capture our significant moments in the future. The loyalty is real folks. The awesome thing was that during the sessions, Josh wasn't distant nor disconnected. He felt like our best friend taking photos of us, not some guy we hired. He was well aware of the movement in the atmosphere and knew how to frame it as if he planned it all himself. He kept us laughing and even helped us to loosen up and come out of our shells.
