I saw someone in their review say, “Josh is hired for life”- and I 1000% agree! I found Josh on Wedding Wire and he was really responsive and reasonably priced. I looked up his work and it’s GORGEOUS. Booking him was a no-brainer honestly. He suggested the engagement shoot, explaining that it gives us a chance to meet before the wedding. Let me tell you, book the engagement shoot!! It was so nice to meet him before the wedding and not just the day of. We met at a place in Malibu that was so beautiful. My husband and I immediately liked Josh and his energy. We were kind of apprehensive because we’ve never done a shoot together, but within the first few minutes Josh made us feel so comfortable and safe, he hyped us up and really gave us confidence. The engagement photos beautifully captured our love for each other and our playful spirits. The turnaround time for the photos was quick and they are incredible. We used them for our Save the Dates! The day of the wedding, Josh was so organized and did such an amazing job capturing the energy of the day and our love for each other once more. He captured the love of our family members and seriously, looking at the photos I feel like I get to relive the day over and over. Josh is very organized, very responsive, and just a great guy. From the beginning, he made it clear he wanted to capture us as we are naturally, nothing forced or fake. The authentic and beautiful photos speak for themselves. Josh is so much fun too! He was dancing with us at the wedding, bringing such fun and amazing vibes to our big day! He worked with the coordinators at the venue, with the DJ, he was really on top of everything and I can’t say enough about how grateful my husband and I are to have met him and have booked him for our shoots. Thank you, Josh!!!

The title might seem a little obtuse - for those who plan their weddings know; it's exhausting, hard, and stressful. But the reason I say what I did above is because it's simply true. I can say with certainty I've never met anyone like Josh. Someone who is so full of life and joy to where it radiates off him and you can't help but wonder how or why. Not only did Josh capture our wedding in a way no one else could he also became a dear friend in the process. From initial phone call to receiving our photos back he was so professional and SO stoked for us you'd think we were lifelong friends. I cannot thank him enough for his talent and passion. It's evident in everything he does. It was OUR honor to have him apart of these past 8 months.

If I could give Josh 10 stars I would. Professional, communicative, transparent, dedicated, and a perfectionist. From our first phone conversation, I knew Josh wasn’t just passionate about photography but in love with capturing the moment and seeing his clients happy. He worked tirelessly to capture our day… to the point we had to pull him into a seat to have his meal! We had a 200+ wedding in LA County, and between Josh and Jonah, they definitely captured each and every special moment. You will not be disappointed!

Working with Josh for our wedding was truly such an amazing experience! He is such an enthusiastic and genuine person, and it’s so evident that he loves what he does. Josh photographed our wedding in 2021. Not only did he take stunning photos of my husband and me, but he also was the life of the party! He broke it down on the dance floor with the rest of the guests. He was easy, breezy, organized, and responsive. Josh listened to the vibe I had in mind and over-exceeded my expectations--and I am a picky girl. He brought the vision of my wedding photos to light, while also not being afraid to boss around the difficult family members during portraits. He is the BEST! Cannot recommend enough.

Josh+Pine took our one year anniversary photos. and let me begin by saying it was the funnest two hours of my life.

We went to the Ventura harbor and beach and he took an everyday place and transformed it into a daydream before our eyes, with a golden hour sent from above.

Josh was one of our favorite vendors from our wedding!! He brought in such a good vibe, positive attitude (even though it was pouring rain the day of our wedding). My fiancé and I found Josh online when researching for photographers in California and fell in love with his photos when we saw his portfolio. From the beginning, we already felt his sincerity through his amazing site and bio and immediately liked him upon our first interaction with him over zoom.

He was super proactive, thoughtful & personable from the get-go and we absolutely loved his philosophy of capturing people in their most natural moments. He was also extremely passionate about his work and because he was just having so much fun during the process, we were also able to relax and enjoy the experience very early on in the shoot as well. We sometimes wished we were the ones holding the camera so that we can capture him climbing up on the rocks, getting excited and going the extra mile to get the best shot! The result of this was a FANTASTIC roll of pictures that captured us in our very candid moments. These were not only beautiful but also reminded us of our 2 hours+ of fun in the desert and we truly loved them. We are soo thankful that he was available to help photograph this special milestone and honestly, if we weren’t living > 8000 miles away, we would’ve also booked him as our Wedding Day photographer in a heartbeat!! 🥰
