It was a true pleasure working with John for our engagement shoot and for our big day! John is such an imaginative, talented individual. I love how he created unique shots that made our wedding unique in comparison to others. John also has a calm demeanor that helped with my pre-ceremony jitters. My husband and I feel that we can now call John not just our “photographer” but our “friend”. In the words of my husband, "John Larkin is a cool, chill dude." He is so refreshing to work with as a couple who really know nothing about being in front of a camera. From our first meeting, John set our minds at ease that we could be ourselves in our engagement and wedding day photos. He was so easy to work with while still giving subtle suggestions for us as to how to get the best photo or angle. We did our own thing in terms of poses and what felt right while we barely noticed he was taking pictures. This was so appreciated as we really feel like our photos came out still looking like us as a couple. He was super patient and willing to try anything we brought up, including a shot of our 200+ guests right after our wedding ceremony. He brought a big ladder and got one of the coolest shots with such clarity! We also truly appreciated his eye for nature, and he found some great spots for all of our sessions. The photos literally come to life with the vibrant colors and settings he chose for us. John is one of the best in the business, and we are so happy we were able to get to work with him!

Wow. John was AMAZING! Not only did he travel to Cleveland to take our engagement photos, but he came a day early to find some good places and see where the best sunset pictures would be. John was absolutely amazing to work with. Before our engagement session, my now husband was a little nervous to be taking engagement pictures and uncomfortable with potential awkward poses. John just told us to interact, talk, laugh, and kiss, and our pictures were so natural and amazing! Of course he is wildly talented and we love all of our photos, but his demeanor and presence stuck out to us.

I cannot thank John enough for how amazing my engagement and wedding photos turned out. He is extremely professional, staying the entire night to capture every detail of our wedding with the help of his second photographer Val! He set up the bet photo booth, adding to the fun and energy of the night. I highly recommend John, you will not be disappointed!!

John is extremely professional and very easy going! He traveled to Buffalo for our engagement shoot mid week. The wedding pictures have turned out absolutely beautiful!
